Lots of improvements, except the mic(s)

Been a daily Air user for a year plus. Hear about all of the improvements for Aeropex, and decided to jump on board since I was noticing a slight crack in the plastic where the charger port is on my old Airs. Sadly, I just got back from Best Buy returning these Aeropex and re-purchasing another pair of Airs. There are some amazing changes with the Aeropex that I REALLY wanted to get in on, and almost all of them are advancements except the mics. I love:
- that they are lighter and more comfortable
- that they are waterproof
- they have magnetic charging (no more cracked plastic at the charging port!)
- I even found the sound quality to be improved
- less buzzing at high volume
However, the downfall in this new design is the mics. Nobody could understand what I was saying. I returned a pair, and tried a second while standing at the Best Buy customer service counter; same results. Everyone I talk to on the phone is used to my Airs. They ALL complained about not being able to understand me when using Aeropex. Never left the counter; swapped to a Trekz Air, made calls, everyone was like "Wow, much much better". :-( I use these for work as my primary headset. Come on Aftershokz, fix the mics, and this headset will rule them all!

I like the Shokz OpenRun overall. They fit well around my head and feel secure without being uncomfortable, which makes them good for workouts and everyday use. The sound quality is decent, but they don’t get too loud, so that’s something to keep in mind if you like higher volume. Since they use an open-ear design, people nearby can sometimes hear your music, especially in quieter settings. The battery life is actually pretty good, and they charge fast, which is a nice bonus. Overall, they’re comfortable, lightweight, and great if you want to stay aware of your surroundings.

I have enjoyed my purchase. They are light, the sound quality is very good and the battery last all day. I use them every day at work. I am glad I found them. They come in handy as far as being able to hear other sounds at the same time. I look forward to using them when I cycle.

I purchased the AfterShokz to have a BT headset that did not have to go into my ears. I am very pleased at the performance, fit and comfort of this headset. If I am using my phone to stream the headset switches to answer with the press of a button and then switches back with no fooling around. I have not run out of battery yet but it does take a couple hours to fully charge the headset.

Sound quality is good. When making calls, mic quality is good. Love this brand for Bone Conduction headsets. My 2nd pair. 1st pair finally gave out after 10 years of service.

I was impressed by the sound quality. It's not going to match a quality in-ear or over the ear headphone, and for me it doesn't mean to. But at mid-level volumes the sound quality was much better than anticipated!
These are comfortable, stay put well, and let the ambient sounds in that I need to hear. I've been wearing these around the house and while working quite a bit as well. Not having something IN your ear is quite nice.

These are great headphones to go jogging, running, or just walking. They are water resistant and overall very sturdy. Also, they are, to my surprise, very comfortable and light.

I have been on a long quest for wireless earphones which were lightweight and comfortable. I had some trepidation about the bone-conducting sound technology but have been blown away by these. They are excellent for listening to audiobooks and podcasts as well as phone calls. Though reviews stress they are not the first choice for music, I found that they worked just fine for that as well. You have to try them to appreciate how great they are.
