Customers appreciate the OpenRun Wireless Headphones for their decent sound quality, comfortable fit, and insane battery life. Many users also find them lightweight and value their water resistance and easy Bluetooth connectivity. While the bass may be somewhat lacking for some, and there may be some buzzing at high volume, the price is the biggest drawback mentioned.

This product works awesome going on my walk, I can listen to music and also still be aware of all my surroundings. The charger last about three days. It's very comfortable. I would recommend it.
Easy to use; Somewhat Pricy for the sound quality.

Pretty good for what they are. Sound quality isn’t the best but it is alright, lacks any bass but that’s expected. They do get reasonably loud and are fairly comfortable for long periods. Easy to setup with Bluetooth and easy to use.

These are my first bone conduction headphones and I love them. I previously had galaxy pods that I overused to point of my ear bleeding, and these are the perfect alternative. The sound quality is very good, perhaps in ear headphones are slightly clearer. The Bluetooth connection is much more consistent than the $20 over ear bluetooth headphones I had. Battery life lasts you an entire day on the computer. These come with the massive plus that they don't hurt my ears or my head, which is what happens when I wear in ear headhones and over ear headphones, respectively. I love these bone conduction headphones, they are amazing.

I bought these for music at the gym. I previously was streaming music into my bluetooth hearing aids. The sound quality through hearing aids is crap and it eats the batteries like crazy, so that was not going to be the long-term solution that I thought. These headphones are very comfortable and I have a better sense of what is going on around me. Obviously, not noise-cancelling. The sound quality is "different", I think it is better than my hearing aids (that I now remove at the gym). I know that isn't high praise. They don't have the bass of a full ear-covering headphone like a Bose noise cancelling unit, but then again, I barely know that I'm wearing these as far as comfort and cool to wear. The gym I go to plays music over their intercom and it usually sucks. When I have these on, I don't hear their music at all.
On a full charge, I wear out at the gym long before the battery life of these headphones. They are supposed to last 6-8 hours or so. As they power on, it tells you the status of the battery. Easily pairs with my iPhone. The little button on the side toggles the play/pause nicely.
I think these are ideal for the gym or for walks outside or bicycle riding where you need to be able to hear outside sources of sound also so you don't get run over. Light weight and cool, not hot around your ears. Sweat impervious.

Purchased to replace my Aftershokz Air. The Air lasted about 2 years before the left speaker started to buzz.
I used these headphones primarily when I exercise. I like the open ear design. I sweat a lot and since there is nothing inserted in my ear canal, my ears do not get plugged.
Sound quality is slightly better than the Air, but these are not a replacement for high end, noise canceling headphones. I am surprised by the audio quality and have never regretted owning them due to sound quality.
Battery life seems very good, but I have a tendency to put it on the charger after every workout.
Overall, I am very pleased with these headphones and have been an advocate for them whenever the issue of music and exercise come up.

I LOVE these bone conducting sports/active earbuds! I will always use these! The best earbuds I've ever owned or bought. Great sound easy app connectivity through google play. You forget that you are even wearing them! No one can hear your music but you and you can hear everything around you if you dont have the volume up too high. You can still hear everything but more difficult to hear someone asking a question. I returned these ONLY so I could get the OpenRun Minis. I wear a smaller hat so I needed smaller shokz. The minis only come in black and on the OpenRun. The openrun's are also waterproof which made me breath easier when it started raining! They are so comfortable that I forget that I have them on! The best bang for your buck! THE BEST active bluetooth wear I've ever owned!!! Even then, this morning I had the volume on high and could still hear a bird in the tree above me

Bone conduction has come a long way. I had a pair of aftershokz trekz titanium from before shokz changed their name, and these sound so much better, are lighter and more compact, water resistant, magnetic charging, and doesn't leak anywhere near the amount of sound the previous old generation did. Very happy and wear these to bed, while driving, running, cycling, etc. Even wore these in the sauna! Highly recommended.
The microphone is not very good for calls though; if that is your main purpose, look elsewhere. I think shokz has a model with a boom microphone.

Awesome Headset! I would highly recommend this unit, I love this product because it is easy to use, battery has a long life to do projects and get calls, play music and use Alexa with my Fitbit.
I can't say enough about the ear piece'sThey sit outside your ears, no plugs!

Husband and myself have these headphones . Lightweight, stay in place and since they do not go in your ears you don’t have to worry about them hurting your ears or falling out. Husband wears them driving equipment and has no trouble hearing with them. Aeropex has a great warranty so register them when you receive them.

Amazing bone conduction headphones. I was a fan of the original aftershock trekz, and these are lighter and more comfortable than the originals. I regularly forget that I'm even wearing them. Good sound as long as you aren't in a loud environment. For example: Not ideal for the plane or when mowing the lawn.
I use them at work in an office setting and set my volume so that I can enjoy my tunes or have a conversation without missing a beat.
They sync up with no issues with my Samsung Note 10 and work great for phone calls.
I recommend these if you don't need nose cancelation or heavy bass.

Back in 2011 I started panicking about something that some of you may think sounds very silly. I was Pregnant. Initially I was excited and happy. After we had my oldest child- the panic set in soon after when I didn’t feel comfortable wearing headphones anymore. Maybe I’m the only mom this has effected but I highly doubt it. I kept headphones or ear buds in my ears from the time I was 11 until after my first baby was born. Then I realized it’s just not safe. I felt like I could just listen to music on the radio. I didn’t like most of the music that came on the radio. Some music that I listen to has words I’d rather have my child not have to learn until they read it on the bathroom wall in middle school.
After our second child I got a pair of nice beat noise cancellation headphones. I’ve worn them possibly 3 times in 3 years. That alone made me so sad. I was not able to have the music in my ears at all without it stopping background noise. My ability to hear my kids is more important to me due to their safety. I decided I’d sacrifice my music for them. Then I read about aftershockz.

I did a lot of research on aftershockz and I ended up buying the Aeropex pair for my 32nd birthday!
I am absolutely elated about these bone conduction headphones. No the music isn’t blasting out my eardrums; the base isn’t the BEST. It is the absolute best purchase I’ve made in over 5 years I’d have to say. Every day since I bought them I’ve used them. I can easily hear all background noise without a problem. It’s important that I can hear what my kids are doing- or not doing. I don’t want them blocked out.
Finally being able to add music back to my life has been thrilling to say the least. They don’t hear it but I can. I can also hear them. It’s perfect for anyone needing to be aware of background noises. The technology is impressive. I highly suggest the Aeropex series.

Bought this pair as a gift. I use my own every day. Battery usually lasts about 8 to 9 hours of continuous run time though it varies on your volume level. These are great if you work in an environment where you are required to be aware of what's going on around you at all times. They are very comfortable for long periods of use and the built in microphones are so good that people never know when I'm on a call using it. These are also a good hearing aid replacement. My father is legally deaf and has purchased very expensive hearing aids in the past but he claims the quality of sound from running these with a passive mic app on his phone is on par if not better than the hearing aids. Plus they're fully waterproof. If you have the money I would definitely recommend a pair of these.

I intended to use these while.running and biking, and they are great for it. They stay out on your head, allow you to wear hats and helmets without issue. Great purchase for this use case.
Sound quality is better than I anticipated, but barely anything for base, though this makes sense. As far as a workout headset goes that still allows you to hear what is going on a round you a bit, these are great. If you turn them up enough, it does still block out hearing people talk to you, and you can still hear sound coming from the unit itself. It's not magic where you only hear sound once it touches your face. They are still speakers, but it is still a really cool experience.

I bought these for running outside, they are amazing for this purpose. I can forget they’re on my head they’re so light. I can perfectly hear all ambient noise for safety, and get crisp good sound for the music. They also are working very well for phone calls.
Now, if you’re looking for running headphones that give clear ambient hearing, buy these. Their strength is also a weakness for other purposes. They block nothing, you hear all ambient noise, and they have weak bass. So if your purpose is like mine, they’re perfect. If you’re looking for something to use on a plane, or metro, or places where you want ambient blocked a little, these aren’t the ones. 5 stars from me though, running and gym duty, and heavy sweat, great.

Lightweight and comfortable to wear. Sound quality is better than I expected. Decent battery life considering their size. Like others have said, don't get these if you're into bass, but for background music and podcasts, they are great!

Love these. The sound is great, and no one around me can hear a thing -- but I can hear my surroundings. I feel safe wearing them when I walk and exercise, and for hands-free use when I'm driving. The button controls are easy to use and to remember/find the right button without removing the headset.
The only negative I have is that sometimes, if there's a lot of bass (ie, it's bass not volume) in what I'm listening to, they kind of tickle my ears/skull/head -- in an annoying way. But most of the time, it's like they aren't there. Hands down, the most comfortable and safe headphones I've ever owned.
