I really enjoyed the action scenes and tense music to tell a dark story of what is wrong with America's war on drugs. Emily Blunt and other A list actors gave a riveting performance all the way to a very personal climax. I have watched it twice so far and have enjoyed both viewing. I think it is the soundtrack, which seems to portray impending doom, that drags you along a somewhat complex story line. I particularly enjoyed the different view points of the various characters.

GREAT MOVIE ACCTION AND AND RECOMMENDED EXCELNTE ATRIZ

The whole tone of the movie can be felt when you watch it. The dark nature of things on screen, the visuals, the characters, the dialogue, and the music...everything adds up to a good movie. I'm sure there are imperfections here or there and gripes people can come up with about this movie like any other movie, but i've watched it 3 times and it still evokes the same feelings even if I know how it will unfold. A bonus would be that the 4k with a more vivid picture and atmos encoding would make it even more engaging and a great title to show off your system.

Action slow, good actors, good thriller & story plot

Sicario is an incredibly intense film that shies from the norm that other films of this type tend to present with a story that's not heavy on action but more reliant on mood and atmosphere. The score by Johann Johannsson especially makes one's stomach churn with anticipation as scenes play out with this steady pounding bass that creates an almost unbearable tension. The acting across the board is great and in the end, you're left with a film that refuses to play by your expectations and delivers a thoughtful look on the drug cartel problem in Mexico.

A top tier steelbook for a top tier movie. Whenever you wanna go on a tense ride, you watch this movie. Terribly well done and now it has the steelbook it deserves. Picked this up on Black Friday and didn't even know it existed before then. Best Buy has continued to step up their game with steelbooks and is becoming *the* place to get your new releases.

And Sicario is the Movie of the Year!! The Cinematography was beautiful. The Music was Perfect. Benicio and Josh were flawless in their performances. Emily Blunt has continued to impress me and I wasnt sure what to expect but she held her own and you take the ride along with her. You never know more than her character and you are front row for her total experience. Sicario is a little bit Zero Dark Thirty. A little bit No Country For Old Men. If any of that sounds appealing to you, rush out and get yourself a copy of Sicario.

I almost turned this movie off during the first scenes due to it not making sense that there would be dead bodies in the walls of a drug cartel house. The cartel would dump or bury or burn the bodies in the middle of the desert and not stuff them in the walls of a house in America suburbia..... The rest of the movie more than made up for the "bodies in the walls debacle"... You are led through the movie as the rookie is led and left in the dark as to what is happening. Pretty realistic in many ways.

Anyone who works in any type of law enforcement will be able to relate to the characters in this film. I was able to identify and see myself as Blunt's naive, wide-eyed girl wonder who strives to do good in a dangerous world that she has just dipped her toe into. Looking back now, decades later, it's a wonder I wasn't killed. It's amazing how over the years you slowly transition from more of Blunt's character to be harder like that of Del Toro's character without blinking an eye.

What a insanely great movie. The only thing I wish they change was Emily Blunt's character---she was too righteous and idealistic in the movie and should have played a more pivotal role. The way the story set her up in the movie made her character weak, whinny and out-of-place. She ended up becoming the symbol of victim that's part of the deadly game that was at play. All in all, every character has a role to play in the movie, and played it well. This is becoming one of my favorite realistic crime movie of all time.
