Overall I enjoyed this film, Josh Brolin gives an excellent performance and the story was compelling enough with a few pleasant surprises.

This was a superior movie, but not all parts are for those with a weak stomach. I understand this movie is pretty true of what the Mexican Cartel actually does to people. The story keeps you at the edge of your seat and you want more, but you can get angry at what humans do to humans at the same time.

I got this 4k BluRay because I just received a new 4k Oled TV and this movie was rated as having excellent HDR. It does and I'm glad I got it for that reason and it looks incredible on the 4k LG Oled, also from Best Buy. Truthfully I haven't paid any atention to the storyline of the film yet, though it appears to be fairly typical Drug Cartel/Border War/ Inter-Agency betrayal stuff with lots of blood and violence. Would recommend for the HDR picture effects and sound.

This movie is a hard look at the world of drugs between Mexico and the U.S. It showcases the brutality of the life that revolves this world. Sometimes you get caught up in how entertaining this movie is that you forget that there is a real war going on out there. This movie is a glimpse and its edge is enough to entertain, but keep us aware.

This is an intense and powerful film presenting a unique perspective on the war on drugs. The tone is dark and bleak, everyone is suspect and in the end morally compromised by the events. It felt more immediate than many films of this type. Not just an action adventure but a character study of what makes the people who fight this war tick.

Not sure why my husband and I put off getting this movie on Blu Ray for so long...We love It! It is one of our favorite "neutral pick" movies to enjoy together! The entire cast is great, but Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt are mesmerizing to watch. The cinematography and score are absolutely amazing.

Even though im not a steelbook collector, this presentstion is eye popping. Very impressed with the packaging. The 4k hdr and atmos is great on this disc. The dolby atmos is very punchy and dialogue is still clear. Recommended.

Traffic was one of my favorite films from 2000. Though different in tone and style this movie deals with similar subject matter. Acting by all parties involved is top notch. Technical aspects of the film are all great. Special features for the film are lacking. Easily one of my favorite films from 2015 and highly recommended.

I bought this movie because I had read that it was one of the best looking 4k movies available. Since I have a high end 4k tv I took a chance and was not disappointed. This movie is stunning on a good 4k tv. Besides this, though, the movie is freaking excellent. It is now one of my faves along side movies like the Godfather.

I really liked this movie. I remember watching Emily Blunt on Charlie Rose, talk about her character in the movie and how she prepared. I waited for this movie, and I must say, without hesitation, it was worth the wait. I understand why Mr. Benicio Del Toro won an Oscar. I highly recommend this movie. Thank you!

Sicario is a really tense and well directed thriller. The sense of dread and horror of the drug trade in Juarez is put on full display. While the film is a little formulaic at times that doesn't take away from the well done action sequences and tension build up. The movie looks fantastic but Rodger Deakins' cinematography is always top notch. Overall it's a satisfying watch and benico del toro is a great antihero and contrast to Emily Blunts by the book federal agent.

Sicario is one my personal favorite films of 2015, and that's saying a lot since I don't favor the genre. Emily Blunt gives an award winning performance with her subtleties and as a strong female protagonist. Packed with high octane action sequences and unexpected twists and turns...Sicario will have you on the edge of your seat.

I would recommend this movie. It definitely shows that you've got to be careful out there and there are definitely things not being shown to our censored society. Revenge was definitely taken in this movie. Also be careful what you ask for when you're given an opportunity that you may not be ready for. Be careful in Mexico.

I did this the wrong way, I saw the 2nd movie first, then knew I had to see this one. I was not dissapointed, this is a great movie so I bought it and for a Great price too. It might have a lot of violence but has a Great story, lots of action, and very good acting, its just a Great movie...!

The steelbook is as graphically beautiful as the movie. Like Villeneuve's other films (such as Arrival; Blade Runner 2049), the film as strong lead performances and cinematography, as well as directing of course.

One of the best movies of the last decade. I already own a copy of this movie, but the art on the steelbook got a double dip from me. Highly recommended!

AMAZING. One of the most beautiful pieces of physical media I own. Steelbook or not. The plastic slipcover is beautiful, the embossed steel pops, a must own! Amazing flick deserves a release like this

As for me and my house, we still like a copy of our favorite movies on dvd! Of course we are mostly didital, but it is nice to know if the internet goes down that you have an option! Great movie! Well worth the buy!

And amazing movie to watch over and over. I first rented this movie from a Redbox machine and decided it was one of the best movies I've watched in the past year. I subsequently rent tickets again from Redbox and enjoyed this awesome movie again. If you're into great action movie entertainment, this is the movie for you.

Sicario is one of those rare films that comes along and just causes you to stop and watch. Characters, settings, plot, and the actors all come together to make this one of the best films ever made (my opinion)! Everytime I watch this movie, I am engaged, and enjoy it all over again!
