The Sideclick is a cool little gizmo. You can control your TV, soundbar, etc. right from your Roku remote, which is pretty cool. It does make it kind of an odd hand fit, and programming took a few go-rounds to get correct (not great documentation), so it loses a star for that. But if you're cutting the cord and consolidating remotes, a great option.

I was annoyed that while my Roku Remote could turn on my TV and control the volume I couldn't use it to change inputs or do a few other things. But with this little guy, that's no longer a problem. I can do everything I need to do with one remote and no longer need to worry about keeping up with the TV remote. Definitely worth the small investment for the extra functionality.

The sidekick is a great accessory I don’t have the remote control for the tv that I bought online but with my Roku I was able to work all the components for the tv that I needed

Works pretty well, however hard to program power and”B” button, as these are the buttons that need to be pressed to turn on and off programmable mode. Additionally, it covers up the headphone port for the Roku remote, so it will have to be removed to plug in headphones.

Works. But I sure wish it had a number pad or weighed less. Easy to program. Okay if you are trying to control something that does not have an easy to find code to operate. Otherwise, I would recommend just a standard programable remote.

I love this remote. It works as advertised. I’ve gone from three remotes down to just one. It snapped onto my Roku remote securely. And it only took a few minutes to program it to do what I needed. If I need to use the earphone port on the Roku remote I can just easily separate the remotes to do so. Thumbs up.

I previously bought one of these to attach to my Amazon Fire Stick remote. I loved it so much I bought a second one to attach to the Roku located in another room in the house. Definitely a great purchase (especially when it is listed as a Best Buy Deal of the Day!

Simple to program and has just enough buttons for my needs. Plus it's pretty small and straightforward to show others how to use. Now I can control my projector (on/off), receiver (on/off and volume), and DVD player (on/off & play/pause) all on 1 remote with my Roku. We used to need 3 remotes for the Roku or 2 of those plus a different 3rd remote for the DVD player.

I bought a roku tv but i couldn't control a receiver through the original remote. I bought this attachment and it worked great with being able to power on/off, volume up/down with the universal attachment. I would definitely recommend for anyone that is running sound through a receiver.

This is a fantastic idea and works great. Do know though, it only "learns" remote commands. There's no programming codes like many other universal remotes, so you need to have your original remote (or some other remote that also works the device you intend to use the sideclick with).

This add-on remote is very easy to program and perfectly fits my Roku Stick controller and came with three other interchangeable pieces to be able to fit any of the other Roku remotes out there. The buttons on the Sideclick are completely customizable. Bought it when it was on sale; non-sale price still seems a bit steep even though I really like the remote.

Works well,fully integrated,fits easily on remote , no issues, recommend.

I'm using a Roku attached to the TV with a basic Samsung theater in a box setup below that for audio purposes. The Roku remote by itself was infuriating since I could only program it with the TV, so the "Power" button would turn the TV off, but the volume buttons would only control the TV volume, not the Samsung surround sound volume. Such an ingenious clip on solution that allows both functions! If I were using a TV only, I'd say this product wouldn't make sense since the Roku remote could handle those basic chores on its own.

This simple add on is a great compact way to eliminate the old, bulky remote I used to need to power on the TV. Easy and inexpensive.

I bought my Roku device a while ago, but didn't like having to use my original television remote for some functions. The Sideclick does the trick. I now only use my Roku device for everthying I need to do. The instructions weren't exactly clear though but I went online and found a tutorial and now everything works perfectly.

Purchased this for my Roku Ultra Streaming Player so I could use it as a universal remote for both my OLED flatscreen and soundbar. Unfortunately, my remote is RF and the Sidekick requires line of sight. I had to return it. Too bad, because it is a good simple solution.

Have been needing this add on for a while. Finally got one and it really makes watching TV a breeze. Even programmed the A/V so we are using the the Roku & Sideclick as the only remote needed now. From 3 to 1 remote is wonderful and my electronically challenged wife is super happy.

This is a good device to use if you are looking to control your home theater system or smart TV that Roku won’t pair with already. K’NEX to the side of the Roku so you can control everything from one remote. All that is missing are LEDs.

Includes all the adapters you need. Can slide down to expose the headset jack on my Roku Ultra remote. Fully customizable to whatever you want to control, you just need the original remote to train it the buttons. Had mine up and running in minutes. Bought another so satisfied.
