It is used primarily to turn the TV on and off and to adjust volume. The clips that come with are a huge waste of plastic, since you only use 1 out of 4, depending on your Roku.

I would actually give this product 4.5 stars but that is not an option. My only criticism of the Sideclick is that I wish the clip(s) that attach the Sideclick to the Roku remote were made a bit stronger. While they do work, they just don't feel as rock solid as they should.

Great, except that it blocks headset jack

I have a remote controlled fan next to my TV and I've been able to program the on/ off and speed functions. However the largest shortcoming of the Sideclick is that it blocks the headset jack of my Roku Premiere +, and so I have to do without that feature.
