Customers are saying

Customers admire the Universal Attachment for Roku® Streaming Player Remote for its easy setup, convenience, and the ability to control both the Roku and TV with one remote. The programmable buttons and volume control are also well-received features. However, some users find the attachment to be bulky and covering the headphone jack, while others mention that programming the buttons can be a bit tricky.

This is an absolute necessity if you are giving up the remote that came with your cable service. It is used primarily to turn the TV on and off and to adjust volume. The clips that come with are a huge waste of plastic, since you only use 1 out of 4, depending on your Roku.

Our 3 year old daughter had picked all the roku buttons out of our remote.. lovely, I know. It was hard to hold the remote while trying to press our fingers into the tiny spots, and with this piece on there it makes it a lot easier to do til we get our replacement. Very easy set up and great to use only 1 controller instead of having to find the 2nd one to turn off the tv in the dark.

You need the remote with the microphone symbol on it to make this voice activation for the side kick too. I didn't realize that when I bought it and I lived chatted twice with BB and no one told me that either. Oh well , I will upgrade Roku to make it happen
