Compact and easily programmed. A good companion to completely control our TV along with the Roku remote. Not enough buttons for our DVR.

This thing is a god send. No more 2 remotes. Unless you have a soundbar or one that does hdmi pass thru ?!? You need this in your life. It programmable and a tad sexy.

Super easy to program. I now have one remote to control my TV, Roku, and sound system. If you use a Roku 3 however, the Sideclick will render the headphone jack useless, as it covers the jack.

I thought this would be super-useful but it isn't. It does what it's supposed to do but for me, it makes the remote awkwardly wide, heavy, and very uncomfortable to hold. And I have fairly large hands. I tried using it for a couple of days and finally took it off. I'll stick with two remotes and will be returning this.

I have used several Sideclicks for all my Roku devices and they work great. A must for any Roku streaming device. I highly recommend the Sideclick!

PURCHASED THE SIDEKICK FOR THE ROKU CONTROLLER. IT PROGRAMMED VERY EASILY. WORKS GREAT ON THE ITEMS I NEED IT FOR. VOLUMN CONTROL FOR MY SOUND BAR AND CHANNEL CHANGING FOR MY TV REMOTE,

Bought this go along with a Roku Streaming Stick in my wife's room. Great feature being able to program buttons from remote it's replacing, and pretty straight forward to set up once you read the directions. It would be nice if it had some backlighting. In both Best Buy's that I bought them from, unit was somewhere other than with the Roku product. Neither of the store's Blue Shirts knew what I was asking for even after I showed them on my phone. However, both were able to locate them in the store. Package deal/discount with the stream stick is nice offer.

Awesome remote addition! I bought 3 and they all work flawlessly. A bit pricey but better than buying 3 more expensive universal remotes and having to program all of them.

I didn't give 5 stars because I really could have used a few more programmable buttons on this sideclick. Because you can set the buttons to your individual needs and the buttons are relatively small, I don't know how they could incorporate some way of better labeling the buttons. Button covers maybe? I have to keep a cheat sheet with the remote to remember how I've programmed the sideclick. It is much nicer having one remote (i.e. the roku and the sideclick attached) than a multitude of remotes.

This little device completely changed my feelings about Roku! I was surprised at how well this fits. This is such a good idea that they have copied it for their newer devices. If you have one of the original models, this is a must have.

This addition to my Roku remotes attaches with ease. Then place the two remotes head to head and the Sideclick learns instantly the other remote. I adapted two DVD players for these conveniences. Now I don't have to juggle both remotes. Options are limited as far as the amount of buttons a standard DVD remote has, verses the Sideclick. However all you need to control your DVD only requires a few buttons to do all your necessary functions.

For older Roku remotes that don't control the volume or TV, this is a good addition to get the newer functionality if you don't mind a wider overall remote.

I was getting tired of having to have my TV remote/and or Tivo Remote to control the volume and source/input for my Roku Streaming Player. I setup one button to switch my TV's source/input to my Roku and used the + and - buttons to control the Volume for my TV. Now I can just use my Roku remote with the Sideclick attached. The Headphone jack on the Roku Remote is blocked by the Sideclick, but I never use the headphone jack on my Roku remote because I don't like using a wired headset. I have a separate Wireless Headset when I want to watch my TV without the sound from the TV bothering others.

This little remote is great. I was looking for a solution that could turn my TV on and control the volume on my sound bar. This was easy to program and works great.

Easy to setup and to replace a broken remote. Not so good for small hands

The product works well and synced to my TV without issue. The only issue is when connected to the Roku control it is a little wide.

We wanted this b/c our original remote stopped working. You have to have a working remote in order to program it, so we had to get a cheap universal remote before we could use it. I like that it comes with all the different remote attachment options, but it feels like a waste to throw the others away. We would have used the other attachments for the other Roku's we have, but you can't get just the remote part. In order to get this for our other Roku's I would have to buy a whole set throw 3 more attachments away. Also seems to need to get pointed in exactly the right place in order to work so sometimes we can't actually get it to work.

I was able to connect the sideclick to my TV and my sound bar. Now I have only one remote. I can turn on my TV, change input, and volume on my soundbar.

This is an excellent multi-purpose learning remote. I "learns" the signals from your existing remote so you don't have to spend a lot of time programming it. It is RF so you need line-of-site, but this isn't an issue for most installations.

I like it. Works nicely, and was easy to get programmed. It slides up and down sometimes but is easy to slide back.
