this was a gift to our daughter who has been playing these since the first PC version. Loves it and is looking to expand

I picked this one up for $15. A game I missed out on when it first came out. Glad I could pick it up at the price I did. A nice distraction from all the super intense shoot em up games.

I love the SimCity franchise and this is no exception. Pretty demanding in terms of graphics adapter. Works just OK with my 4 year old i5 with integrated graphics

Same, familiar freedom seen in other Maxis products. However, No real user's manual included. Some objectives are hard to learn how to meet. Buildings transform themselves automatically, which is hardly rewarding. And of course, you have to have an online connection? Really?

My son couldn't play it on his laptop. There is no CD drive on his laptop so we had to install it on our desk top. It works fine and he enjoys playing it.

This took 7 hours to download then it didn't full download. Very disappointed

It's Sim City with a lot of improvements to graphics and mechanics but it does suffer in a lot of other areas. The city sizes are small, the multiplayer is very "disconnected" since you can't really interact with other players, and the fact I have to use the Origin launcher just really sucks.

Love this game! Challenging and exciting. Never boring. I've also had no issues with logging onto the game.

This game was very challenging for someone who has been playing pc games for several years. Kept my attention instead of getting boring.

My daughter and her best friend live to play Sims! If they could create a real world like their Sims Worlds, life would be fantastic!

Now that the servers are fixed, this game is worth playing if you're a fan of SimCity. I had never played any SimCity games prior to this one, and I'm addicted to it. I bought it after the servers were fixed and it's running great. There are a few problems here and there, but they are fixing them. Ignore the reviews saying to not buy it because of the connection issues. If you enjoy SimCity games, you'll enjoy this one.

Next to Railroad tycoon, this is the best game ever

Took a major step forward with graphics but two steps back with requirement of being online as well as inability to create truly dynamic regions from scratch.

Great price at Best-Buy-- Sim City has always been an awesome game for them to keep revamping!

Can spend the day building away slow to load great graphics

The Sims is a great game and is actually educational in teaching you about building and sustaining a city. There is A LOT of content to keep you playing hour after hour. However, for me personally, I did not see a lot of replay value in the game once you "finish" it because of the great amount of time I spent playing it the first time.

There are so many updates to this old school game that I can't name them all. All in all, it's an awesome update to Sim City.
