After renting pocket Wi-Fi’s on my last two trips, I decided to purchase my own and went with this product. I purchased it through their site over black Friday and purchased 20 days of unlimited data for our trips. I usually stock up on data during their 50% sales! There is no expiration date after purchase I believe. It ends up being a great value when phone companies charge $10 a day for international or rent one with whatever plan you chose. My husband set this up and I don’t remember it being hard. We watched the video and the box came with instructions. They send a separate email for the data and it’s loaded to your account on the app for use. Connection was easy and the battery life is pretty good! We used it as a backup to our battery packs for all day adventures. Sometimes you have to restart or refresh connections when going from one place to another but it’s not a huge deal. I like the look of their new 5G pack so might upgrade to that at some point, but for now, this will get me through my travels for the next year. Worked well in Peru - Heading for Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Thailand and Japan before the end of the year.

Basically it was garbage from day one there’s so many places that you could get no Wi-Fi whatsoever and it seems like paying for something that you basically cannot get his gotta be Ludacris I would not recommend getting one of these total garbage I wish I could give it a negative star

Horrible product.. broke after 3 months it was past our window to return to Best Buy and the company was no help..

Cannot use in las vegas. Delay my work. Slow to connect internet. Return it will require 45 restock fee. Feels like spend $45 on buying trash

Throttle kicks in after like 350 mgb. Doesn’t stream well. Would not recommend for home use.

Speeds are super slow and costs way too much for data.

Bought this hotspot for a quick road trip during quarantine. Because my company is all working from home, my wife and I took advantage of the flexible working hours and environments and ran away to Tahoe for a few days. We had to maintain full productivity from the bed of our truck and campsite, which worked surprisingly well with this little gadget. We had both of our laptops and a kindle connected the whole trip! My wife even streamed episodes of The Office on the drive up there.. "Working from home" just got a lot better.. : )

Solis resolved my fear of being hacked while using hotel or Free Airport WiFis. Now I carry my own hotspot and I can relax knowing my connection is secure. I have used it in many, many countries and the connection has been great in all of them…even the most remote! I’m not sure how it works in US as I don’t use it there. It is easy to use, cost effective and the battery charge lasts all day. My travel companions (3) can connect and as long as they are close to my Solis they get their WhatsApp and email. I’ve never been so popular!! This is my second (upgraded) hotspot from this company and I have been totally satisfied with both. Great customer service helped me transfer unused daypasses from old model to new without issues. It solved my travel problem and it can solve yours!

Skyroam provides me with great coverage and fast 4G data speeds. I use mine both in the US and when you're traveling internationally. Works great when working from the boat or while traveling the interstates. Another great thing is i never have to worry cost as there have been no surprises.

Solid device. Has provided reliable service for me in a remote area of Costa Rica for the last 4 months. Signal scan keeps me on the strongest provider.

Worked great! Used it to work from our RV in a pretty remote campground. Four stars because it did drop service once but customer service was amazing and got me up and running right away.

I bought it directly from them. It is a great device, I used for social media and work in several states and I always get decent speed and coverage. I recommended it a lot. Only thing you have to look harder if you want to pay for exact plans, I didn't get the option for US on the application from my smartphone. I better go to their web shop and buy a voucher there.

I am an employee of Best Buy. I recently used this device while traveling overseas. The Solis Wi-Fi device saved my trip. Rather than buying an unlocked phone and purchasing a SIM card upon arrival, I was able to flip on the Solis Wi-Fi device and continue using my phone as if I never left the states. The one caveat is this is not a satellite-enabled device so, it will only work if there are cell towers. After the first connection, the Solis became very user-friendly. I used this is multiple countries without any issues. This is a great portable Wi-Fi device to look into.

I love having the solis lite for back up. I day trade stocks and the thought of the internet going out in the middle of a trading session is very unsettling to say the least! I no longer worry about it because if it were to happen I would just turn on my very own internet connection and keep on going :) Also very handy for appointments around town, I just keep it in my bag along with my laptop. So glad to have discovered this!

Im traveling for work and this thing has been a life saver. The internet connects almost everywhere I go and it is extremely reliable. Was at a starbucks once without wifi (imagine that) and I had my skyroam to save the day. Would highly recommend, it has made life so much easier for me.

So far, this has been great. No disappointments although I am using it in a city only when I have problems with internet service through an internet provider. The unit is small and the instructions were great. I did have a question for customer service and they answered on a chat line on the app.

I got this for my parents who frequently travel up and down the intercoastal waterway. They were able to use their computers and smart TVs seemlessly with this device, without interruption. Best father's day gift I could have given my dad. It was easy for them to set up and enjoy and they loved the long battery life! Would definitely recommend!

Purchased this to use while traveling and have not been dissappointed, It is easy to use, the app works as it should as a no contract pay as you go solution. There quick courtous tech support helped me quickly on a early issue which was my doing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wifi hotspot solution.
