I used this on a recent trip to Italy where I don't have cell phone coverage. It worked great the entire time, on trains, in cars and on foot. So easy to use with day passes.

Do not waste your time with this hotspot. The service is garbage and the customer support is even worse than that. I live in a major city (Las Vegas) and within view of a T-Mobile tower which is what this will connect too. I experienced 3-6 Mbps speeds consistently. Yes… 3 Mbps. This is not even suitable for emails. I contacted them and they told me that that is acceptable service for them. They don’t have “high speed” service and they will tell you that you should park under the tower if you want better service. I can provide pictures of the chat with customer services employee Pedro to prove this. Best Buy should not sell this product. This is a garbage product. I do not believe that this company even had access to high speed bandwidth and they charge for High speed.

Delivery was fast and product was in good condition. The only problem was the connection was slow.

Spotty connectivity. Connection to internet will just stop for no reason and then will be hard to reestablish.

Bought this for my father-in-law for all his biking trips abroad. Often times, he stays in remote b&bs with limited wifi so he is super excited to have this. Until those trips resume, we have actually been using it a ton to support our work-from-home setup when power goes out or too many of us are on video conferences at the same time. Would definitely recommend!!

I live in a rural area and get spotty WiFi. I’m also working from home and my WiFi has been super slow. I thought this would help, but it wouldn’t even connect. I called customer service and after a few hours of them resetting it, telling me to put it by a window so it could “find a tower”, etc, they finally told me to return it , that it’s not going to work. Isn’t the point of this thing to give you good wifi anywhere and everywhere in the WORLD, yet doesn’t work for me in Kentucky!?!? Don’t waste ur money.

Garbage. You'd think with the words "lifetime data plan" I'm the name you wouldn't have to buy any extra data on top of the 150 I spent on this piece of trash. Utterly ridiculous false advertising I'll never be buying anything from Best buy again. Y'all can just do my repairs, thanks.

While I have read the positive reviews about Solis, and though I was initially satisfied with it, my last four or five purchases of Solis data was depleted before I had a chance to turn on the device and use it. Solis support was unavailing. I had to resort to lodging a complaint with the FTC today, August 21, 2023. I'll video and audio record another purchase of data and device usage as evidence for further action. Now I'm in the market for a new hotspot. Perhaps I'll try Motorola.

Great product for working from home and while on vacation! Gets the job done and allows up to 10 device connections.

It was easy to set up. I bought it for an international trip to Mexico. The connection was spotty at best and I was not able to rely on it.

You get what you pay for: but not with this device. Worked for about 4 months and then suddenly stopped. It's a brick. Worse customer support (Skyroam. NOT Best Buy!) I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. If you're looking for a HotSpot- look elsewhere.

Worked fine on the by the gig plan. When I bought the monthly service it stopped working while billing for days instead of gigs. Customer service will not answer or return calls Total rip off.
