Very useful, glad i purchased this item. I use it on a daily!!!

I purchased this device while my wife was in labor because of the hospital wifi not being that strong & I would have to say it served us well. We watched movies and I also played my PS5 and experienced zero lag. It’s easy to set up and reload and affordable.

Amazing worked perfectly and fast. Highly recommend it!!!!

Great device. However battery runs out quickly. Would still recommend. Just make sure you charge it if your not going to be around an outlet.

Worked as well as it could have for the speed offered.

Have only used it once but it did the job. I did buy the Verizon SIM due to the other review but it didnt work and actually worked with the SIM that was already included.

If you really need something, then this may be a good idea. However, if you are looking for high speed, you should pass on this. I am not sure if it is SimpleMobile or if it is this unit since this is my first time using their service and device as a temporary wifi replacement. It took 5 hrs for BestBuy to send the digital SimpleMobile Plan that was purchased with this device, so if you need it urgently, buy the card in person or use a credit card when activating the unit. Also, plan to be on the phone with their reps for a while. Their service isn't great and the technical support is mediocre. Last note, to change the settings you will need to set up the unit to work, while connected to the wifi, you log into your IP address on the booklet. The 5g and 2g wavelengths cannot be used at the same time for some reason, despite trying to change the settings.

Used 2 months, then bought a Verizon unit instead. Device is ok but service wasnt great.

I bought this for a property we were renovating with urgent need of a hotspot. This met my needs. Setup was as easy as following the instructions. I’ve been using it a solid month now with no hardware or carrier issues. It’s on the T-Mobile network and 2 bars LTE where I’m using it was enough to do the job and then some.

Good signal for the playstation. Haven't used it for the computer yet.

i mean it got the job barely done when i was traveling. But still ended up getting the portable internet on my T-mobile plan

This little gem was the Best thing about Hurricane Ida, I'm not even kidding! I got this so that I could work at my mom's house in the boonies as she doesn't have internet service. It was easy to set up and easy to use; you can track your data usage online once you set up a Simple mobile account. You can easily add GB if you.eed extra and the price couldn't be beat. This is an amazing deal and no contracts or monthly payments.

battery life is so so ...but worked fine for a backup connection for me

In a pinch I was able to access the Internet. It helps that it is portable. I heard you can game with it. But I’m not a gamer.

Works good enough for my use which is remote work, mostly web based programs, spreadsheets, teams meetings, etc. love that I can take it with me everywhere and work from wherever. So far I haven’t gotten the best reception, but still works ok with 1-2 bars. Wish the data plans were a little cheaper, but still ok for short time use, too expensive to rely solely on this.

I'm new to this 'hot spot' technology and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in how this whole thing works. I explained at the time of purchase that I watch a lot of movies and was directed to buy this and a Roku. Unfortunately, in the middle of a movie, I apparently ran out of data. I only had the device for a like 2.5 weeks and didn't even use it everyday.

I never got a chance to use this device. It very well could be a decent device. My laptop was being problematic so I'll tuck this away for another time.

Great Wi-Fi when I can get it turned on. Great in a pinch but doesn’t hold a charge long. I have to plug it up a few times a day.

The device is mot easy to use. I cant determine what my data balance is!!! Also, does not connect to a cell tower to easily access network and disconnects easily! Battery is very weak too! Needs to constantly be connected to power! Not happy with my purchase!
