Came in very handy when there was internet outage in my area. Very simple set up and easy to use. Very happy that I got it.

This came in so handy when I went home to visit my mom who does not have internet. Easy to use. I need to add it to my new phone so that i can take it to my office.

Device may or may not have worked. The real issue is with the data being loaded on it. The website for the data doesn’t recognize the receipt information from Best Buy. As such we couldn’t get it to function. Returned the device.

I would recommend this item for all in house use. its great and very handy. And I'm really happy with it!

Before my purchase the Wi-Fi in my home was spotty when away from the router. Now with this purchase I get out of breath before any spotting happens.

This has been the most frustrating purchase I’ve made. I haven’t been able to activate the product due to repeated errors, and every attempt to contact customer service has gone unanswered. It feels like this product was designed to take your money without actually delivering anything of value. I expected much better.

This device served the purpose. While staying with my mother for an extended period of time, who doesn’t have Wi-Fi service, I purchased the Simple Mobile. I was able to connect easily and do everything on my phone, laptop, iPad which I needed to. It worked flawlessly.

Best Buy shipped without scanning to activate mobile hot spot and have to wait another 24-48 hours after contacting Simple Mobile to try and activate it. You have to email a copy of purchase receipt in order to get it activated. Will have to wait to see how long that will take. The device is fine and service works great as I have used this exact one before, this is a Best Buy problem.

I would not recommend this product because it doesn’t allow you to sign in with the new password and when trying to sign in with the password given it doesn’t work anymore

I love that this is non-contract, pay as you go hotspot. the display lets you know if you getting close to using all of your purchased data, connection is easy, I am able to use it on the go, when I don't want to use my phone as a hotspot.

I got this so I could use it in my rv when I am away from home. But it doesn't always pick up internet so good. Also it will kick you off for no reason.

After paying $50 for this device and then $50 for 40gb of 5g, I had to make multiple calls to heavily accented help workers who were not able to tell me how many gigs I had used or how to get off the 2.4g to the 5g. After only two weeks and six hours of usage, the device no longer connected even though it was supposed to last for 30 days. There is no way I used 40gb in 6 hours and if I did that's a complete scam and waste of money. The device feels like it is 25 years behind the times. Don't waste your money on it.

i needed this to run soccer tournament it was a little tricky to set up but i contacted customer service and they were able to get it working

I could never activate the product. For three straight days I tried to access the companies website to activate the product and I never could reach the required page. Many times the site would lock up. I'm not going to return it because I'll try again to get it activated.

I broke my internet connection, and it was going to be 3 days before the vendor could get out to fix it, with two people WFH, I needed an option, and phone hot spots were not it. I picked this up, with a 40GB data pack, and it worked great. We had 2 work laptops, often both on calls, and two home computers linked up to it, and in the evening we streamed shows on the TV over this connection. Note: You do need to create an account in order to activate this, therefore you need an internet connection to get started. You may be able to use the Simple Mobile app, but I didn't try. Setup and activation took a few minutes, and after a reboot I was online and ready to go. I put this in the middle of the house upstairs, and it reached everywhere that it was need, it has a surprisingly good wi-fi signal.

The battery doesn’t reach the 2nd bar. I have to keeep it on the charger to actually use it. The connection is great but battery is horrible.

So i buy yhis hotspot right.. they have no unlimited plans in store, so i pay for the 40 gb plan. Man this plan lasted me less then 24 hours. So i call up simple mobile to get an unlimited plan. They charge me 49.99 the same amount i paid in store for 40gb. What donta know it doesn’t even apply to my device, so im here on the phone with these guys and they telling me wait 30 mins. I go on ahead and check my account online. It says I’ve already exhausted my 40gb. From the first purchase; alright granted. I go to look at my plan and the 49.99 i just paid again is not there. They charged me for nothing. Basically stole from me smh worst service ever my G

Device came in handy as an emergency. Just be mindful of purchasing the right plan. The instructions could be revised to be more user friendly. Too many assumptions implied included in instructions like the consumer is fully tech savvy.
