Not worth the $$$

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t think that is a good idea to buy because it’s a terrible deal for the price of the hotspot plus the $49.99 cards for data just to use it, unfortunately it will eat up all of your data purchased in less than 24 hours of use even though it will be a “ one month “ service and ifin you should purchase another data card close to the end of that previously set month set by that first 49.99 card it’s not even going to roll over to the next month!!! And plus by the time you’ve realised that it’s a data sucker it’s too late to return it!!!

Big headache

I was on the phone for about 2 hours to get this set up and the no-contract activation working. In the process they even switched my mobile phone from my carrier to simple mobile. It was the biggest headache. Then after purchasing the largest no-contract service. It lasted through only a couple movie downloads card was out of time.

Affordable hotspot

I used it as dedicated WiFi for my Ring and Schlage door lock at a rental property in between tenants when I didn’t want to sign up for a year internet contract.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

The sim card in the box will not work and the simple mobile company will only tell you to get another sim card and that will NOT work. Just please save your time.

Great in a pinch!

We bought it for craft shows so my kid can stream and we can accept payments. I think my kid has gotten more out of it. I also used it when we had no electricity or internet during a storm, but this picked up well enough to take care of school business, turn in homework and sign up for classes on time.
