I purchased this for a Hotspot backup to help my child with School. Heaven knows COVID has turned the world upside down & made school more stressful then ever. So the money I had to spend for this device & the monthly data plan was worth it to ease the stress levels for my child. I don’t understand why internet has to be so expensive

It works fine for road trips and for hotel stays. I recommend for purchase.

This hotspot is great, needed something for my store with out big payments or contract and this thing does the trick. One of the smartest things I ever did was to git this simple mobile hotspot. Love it.

Purchased at Best Buy not once but twice. Cannot activate after many days of waiting and receiving a new SIM card by the maker it still does not work. The reason because Best Buy did not scan BOTH UPC numbers on the box, only 1. The box states cannot be activated unless scanned at the register! Why did they only scan one upc code when there is two.I paid so much wasted so many hours.

Worked for a bit in some areas but mostly not. It was very disappointing and frustrating during my vacation. Not worth the money. I will be returning and getting something different.

Works great, easy to set up if you read the paperwork.

Could not get any connection. Called help number and they were not able to get it up and running. Returned for refund.

I bought this for a road trip where I had run out of data on my cellular plan. It worked very well in the car, where I was able to keep it continually charged via USB. I think the form factor could be shrunk a bit - not sure I would enjoy carrying it in my pocket.

Not efficient for remote work , poor connection issues

Bought one and tried to activate only for the customer service rep from simple mobile to let me know the SIM card wasn’t working and I needed to take it back to Best Buy and get a new one. Went back and got a replacement only for the same process to happen again. Don’t bother unless you want to waste your time and money.

Got online shipped with a no activated or bad sim card cant activate it bought along with 50 dollar plan

I bought this when I moved houses and the Internet wouldn't be installed for a week. Really easy to set up and use, but you do need to put money into it. They don't give you credit when activating.

READ THIS PLEASE! Waste of money! Like the other 1 star review, I also cant say anything good because first thing to do is to activate the device by typing in the SIM number. After doing that, it said that it was already activated and to try another sim number. Like seriously, there is no other option. I too tried to get ahold of customer service, and it just so happens that they werent able to take any calls. So messaged the chat and after tons of exchanges, it said devicecwasnt compatable. I wished i had known that before i bought this piece of crap.

Great for your kids going to school and not wanting to buy an expensive hotspot plan. Works and gets the job done on a budget they can control with cards to replenish.

I brought because my previous hotspot broken. Didn’t want to spend 100 or more to get another one. That was my mistake. I search for ATT hotspot on best buy and this came up as one of the top hits. Didn’t realized it was lock to t mobile. I had ATT and tried to get a SIM card for it. When I turn it on, it said the card was invalid. Looked through the box and saw that it was essentially T mobile locked.

I got this because my phone doesn't get service at my family's house. This works well and allows me to use my phone and laptop as needed when I visit.

This is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. Took it home and it didn't live up to what it advertised. Customer service is horrible.
