Good device but some things aren’t that easy to understand

Wow, finally I can travel with this Hotspot. I am able to do my 8 hours of Job while I am on the go. I pick a $50 plan able to get the internet for my needs and watch learning videos ...

Works great, easy to set up if you read the paperwork.

Works exceptionally well and great value device and airtime. Only issue is that the user interface on the website to manage and replenish the airtime is appalling.

Needed this for processing off sight payments for our business and never lets down. Love that you can buy minutes for it just whenever you need them instead of a contract

Doesn’t hold charge. Have to have it stayed plugged up to work. Will not charge.

READ THIS PLEASE! Waste of money! Like the other 1 star review, I also cant say anything good because first thing to do is to activate the device by typing in the SIM number. After doing that, it said that it was already activated and to try another sim number. Like seriously, there is no other option. I too tried to get ahold of customer service, and it just so happens that they werent able to take any calls. So messaged the chat and after tons of exchanges, it said devicecwasnt compatable. I wished i had known that before i bought this piece of crap.

Purchased this item to place in my snowbird’s family home to run cameras they could watch from any location. It’s perfect for this purpose.

I brought because my previous hotspot broken. Didn’t want to spend 100 or more to get another one. That was my mistake. I search for ATT hotspot on best buy and this came up as one of the top hits. Didn’t realized it was lock to t mobile. I had ATT and tried to get a SIM card for it. When I turn it on, it said the card was invalid. Looked through the box and saw that it was essentially T mobile locked.

Simple Mobile was recently purchased by Verizon. The sim card in the hotspot kit does not work on the Verizon network. I purchased a Simple Mobile Sim Card Kit that's suppose to be compatible with the Verizon network and it doesn't work either. Simple Mobile customer service and tech support are useless because they are unable solve the connection issue nor provide a solution. A waist of time and money!

After I figured out how to turn it on, and after I figured out how to interpret the visuals on the little screen, yes, it worked as I had expected.

SIM card was expired even though I had just purchased it. That’s why I returned it.

Complete fraud on the part of Best Buy. Hotspot and data purchased in March worked. Purchased more data today only to find out that device is now no longer supported by Simply Mobile due to them be acquired by Verizon. Best Buy is making me eat the $35 spent this morning despite the data not being usable.

I bought it because it said it had the option to configure advanced settings such as port forwarding etc. Unfortunately it doesn't work even when you enter the settings. So it is basically useless as a replacement for a router/modem.

Didn't work Sim card didn't work and Simple Mobile couldn't get me a new one?

I bought it for my Rv and it Work good in the Rv parks.to boost my signal.

DO NOT BUY THIS ONLINE. You will still have to take it into a physical store to have it be “scanned” so it will work. Customer service number for product won’t help or activate it for you over the phone. What’s the point of purchasing it online? Shouldn’t be sold this way if it can’t be used without going to a store

It only worked for a day. After the first day, nothing was able to connect to the internet. We bought this for a resident whose WiFi wasn’t able to get installed immediately and spent hours on the phone with customer service and the only thing they did was a reset but it still didn’t work. I took it to different locations (different cities) to see if maybe it was in a dead zone but it never worked anywhere.
