Pro: -Simple and works well -Looks good Con: -Price Though it has a premium price, it’s a sleek and simple way to keep your phones clean. It’s well made, with a brushed aluminum exterior and a light ring when it’s activated. Using it is like using a toaster. You insert the phone in the slot and it will automatically lower and sterilize for 30 seconds, until it raises back up. My phone cases aren’t too thick so I didn’t have any issues with that, but if it doesn’t fit then the cleaner would detect it and reject it. I’ve been using it regularly ever since getting it, and hopefully the UV light is doing its job.

In this day an age, not having something to clean probably your most used electronic device seems almost crazy. I have had other devices to sanitize my phone but by far this is the best one. First, its design is very sleek and will fit in almost any room. Setup is as easy as plugging it in and it's ready to go. Simple place your phone in the top and it will pull your phone down into the sanitization chamber. Once it is complete with the cycle it will raise your phone and it is ready to go. The entire process takes about 30 seconds. It really could not be any easier.

The Simplehuman Phone sanitizer sanitizes most single phones in less than 30 seconds. You put your phone in the top. Just like a toaster. However it must be a single phone, not a flip or foldable. I have a Samsung Z flip. It will not fit in the top in a case, or out of the case. The phone with cameras it to thick and jams at the bottom of the camera extrusion. My iPhone works with out a problem even in the case. After the unit beeps the phone comes up and should be sanitized, not cleaned. In the state of virus's this devices is a must have to keep you safer. Just be sure your phone will fit in the opening of 8 CM X 1 CM 3 in X 6/10's in.

Since your phone is one of the most used and handled things during the day, this Cleanstation is great to have. It really can't be easier to sanitize your phone. Plug in your Cleanstation and it's ready to go. Put your phone in the top and it's automatically lowered in. How cool is that!? It sanitizes your phone for 30 seconds then pops back up when ready. It looks well designed and has a very small footprint. I only wish it was a tiny bit taller to fit with my case on.

My wife works in healthcare, so we are all about killing germs. Cell phones are nasty devices and pick up more filth and germs than our hands. We handle them, lay them on surfaces without even thinking, and breathe all over them. So no matter how much we wash our hands, that is all for naught as soon as we pick up our phones. Enter Simple Human. We plug ours in on the kitchen counter opposite the sink and away from appliances. The new routine is come through the door, drop phone in the magic box, wash hands. The phone pops up, toaster style, right about when hands are being dried. So any germs from outside the home are dead and washed from hands and phones. The box is sleek and the light ring stays on as it cleans. All our iPhones and Galaxies with cases fit and slide right down when place in the slot. It’s unobtrusive on the counter, but it does make me more mindful of where I lay my phone and how often I wash my hands and sanitize. It doesn’t hurt to do it more often. Any little thing to add another barrier to germs making their way through is a plus. Kids can use it easily, not fragile, easy to plug and play. Will pick up a couple for parents and in-laws. Highly recommend.

Well - it may be a little overboard, but I've acquired a UV light, germ killin' apparatus for feeling safer with my cell phones. I've read the average person touches their phone 2500 times a day. That's alot of fingerprints, and even more germs. Enter the simplehuman Cleanstation. It works like a toaster for your phone - without the heat. It uses UV-C light to kill germs - including coronaviruses in as little as 20 seconds. The Cleanstation retracts your phone into the killin' light chamber and submerses it in a light bath for 30 seconds, then slowly raises your phone up for you to take - playing a chime to let you know that it is done. So - does it work? Many recent studies do indeed indicate that UV-C light kills germs, viruses, etc. Hospitals, airlines, hotels and more use UV-C light to disinfect surfaces. Note - it does not clean your fingerprints or other surface dirt off your phone. That's your job. It just shines that UV-C light on it and kills the bad stuff. My family likes it!

With everything going on around the world it’s a good idea to have something to clean the items we touch most often. I remember reading something about how often most people touch their phones in a day. It was a whole lot of times. This device is very simple to setup and couldn’t be easier to use. Simply plug it up, stick your device in and in no time, your device is disinfected. I put my iPhone 11 max in it with the slim case on and it fit fine. I don’t think anyone can make such a device that is easier to use than this one. The design is sleek and looks good, but definitely leaves a lot of fingerprints. They probably could have made it in a different finish but all in all, that is a minor complaint. Overall, I’m very happy with this.

Nowadays, everyone is more conscious about germs but we really don't think about the germs on our phone. We can easily wash our hands but we really can't wash our phones. Electronics usually don't like water. So Simplehuman made a solution for that with the Cleanstation UV phone sanitizer. With that said, for the last week my family and I have been testing the Cleanstation with all of our phones. The Cleanstation seems to work as advertised. I place my phone inside of it and 30 seconds later it's germ free. Also, it easily was able to fit my Pixel 6 Pro (Without Case), iPhone 12 Max and a Galaxy S21. It worked great for candy bar style phones but it wouldn't work with larger folding phones like the Surface Duo and the Galaxy Fold. Overall, it's a cool device and I like it.

The design of this gadget is very sleek and stylish. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it fits in the unit with no problem. Was very straightforward as far as setting up and how to use it. It takes about 20-30 seconds for the cleaning to take place. Solidly built and seems that it will last. Not sure how UV-C light kills germs but with COVID raring its ugly head I will protect me and my family.

Very simple to set up and even simpler to use. Just take the Cleanstation out of the box and attach the power supply cord to the bottom. Plug in the Cleanstation and it illuminates around the top to indicate its on. Place your phone in the opening and the Cleanstation does the rest automatically. The phone lowers into the cleaning chamber and the light illuminates to show the UV Cleaning is happening. After 30 seconds the Cleanstation sounds a chime and up comes your phone out of the cleaning chamber, its that simple. Simplehuman states the Cleanstation kills 99.9% of all germs with its UV light which in this day and age comes in handy. I dont think I've been more thrilled with a product than I am with the Simplehuman Cleanstation. With the thousands of times a day we touch our phones this is a great way to minimize exposure to germs.

Received this product as part of the Bestbuy Tech Insider Network. Overall it's a useful and neat device. It's cool that you can place your phone in the slot and it'll auto feed it into the cleaning bay, do its thing for about 20 sec and then give it back to you. Note: Used Google Pixel 6 for testing, had to remove a relatively thin case for it to feed into cleaning bay due to the phone's camera bar. Also if you wish to sanitize your phone case, it won't work as it doesn't weigh enough for the "elevator". Cons: - Extremely over-priced; $200 for a UV-C cleaner - AC charger; give it USB-C!
