I have used and recommended Skullcandy for years and this is the first time I was disappointed. I "upgraded" to these 50/50's after my Smokin' Buds 2 got damaged. The 50/50's sound okay but are noticeably inferior to Skullcandy's own cheaper Smokin' Buds 2. The Buds 2 off-axis design and oval shape fit so well in my ear that I rarely ever turn my volume up over 50%. The 50/50's just don't fit and seal in the ear anywhere near as well as the Buds 2 and the sound quality suffers for it. I'm all for Skullcandy, just not these. I bought a pair of Buds 2 to compare side-by-side, and there is no comparison. The 50/50's lose hands-down to the Buds 2. Get better sound and save some money too -- get the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 instead of these.

Ok so I got these head phones about a year. Thank god I got a warranty that best buy sold me cuz I used it ALOT. Don't get me wrong the sound quality of these ear buds are awsm! But, and it's a big but, these head phones only last about a month. That's it. The warranty I got lets me change the head phones if there is ever a problem or something. I changed these head phones 11 times in one year. I swear this isn't a exaggeration eather. Other than the bad durrability they are really good head phones... I'm currently looking for new earbuds cuz I lost the recite with the warranty.... I hear the Klipsch are really good...

Had these for about 4-5 months, then they just completely fell apart. Was pretty disappointed. Pretty good sound quality though. Wouldn't recommend it though, they're probably worth 30 dollars at most for their durability.

So far no complaints...great sound quality - I can even yell and he does not hear me when he is wearing them - altho he sometimes doesn't hear me when he isn't wearing them too. :) Seems like he wears them all the time - so they must be comfortable. As far as durable - we'll have to wait to see how long they last...

Bought these to mate to the iPhone. They're comfortable, music sound quality is good and I really like the flat cable. My only complaint is the microphone sound quality. If I use these on a phone call, people complain that they can't hear me clearly.

If all you want is bass then these are ok. The bass is loud but not necessarily good, the mids lack texture and the highs aren't crisp at all. It's as though they toned down the mids and highs to give the perception of enhanced bass. I was surprised to hear a touch of fuzz as well. The cord is flat, which is fine unless you run it through the neck of your shirt and out the bottom because it'll stick to your skin and tug the earbuds downward. I didn't hear any noise from the wind when cycling at a decent speed, so there's that. Glad I kept the receipt...

Best bass ever from a set of earbuds--it rivals my Dr. Dre phones for 1/4 the price!

I use them to run with. They stay in my ears without falling out and provide great sound with great bass response!

I purchased these 50/50's after reading several reviews that stated they had excellent bass and good ranges otherwise. The first thing I noticed after unboxing was how the plastic shroud around the plug was detached with exposed wire (poor quality). The 2nd thing is the sound; for any serious listeners looking for quality sound: THESE ARE NOT FOR YOU. The last thing I noticed after purchasing these was the BB return counter.

When these headphones are functioning, they are great for work (microphone) and for working out. I'm now on my 5th pair because they keep breaking (near the earbud).

I am very disappointed in these earbuds. The sound is really good as long as you are not moving. Any movement of the cords or brushing up against them transfers the sound into the earbuds. I power walk on a daily basis and have tried to use the 50/50's and have found it too annoying to use. I waisted my money and am now looking for a different pair of buds.

this is a good quality ear bud. It sounds great. Highly recommend this product
