Lots of bass.....a bit muddy with bass all the way down. When you turn the bass up it's way too much and it's all you hear. There are better sounding examples at this price point. Depends on what you listen too and how you like to hear it.

Base monster with ok audio. The clamp on this headphone is really tight, not very comfortable. Touching the headphones rattles you head too much which is a big NO for me.

I have always owned skull candy headphones and usually love them. This pair is very good but the bass is not the greatest. You can hear the mechanics inside the headphones rumble with every step. I guess if you don't move when you wear them then they are great.

The Skullcandy - Crusher 3.0 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones - Black, sound amazing! I love the bass response!!! These are one of the few headphones I have ever tried that actually have more bass than I need. I actually run these with the bass slider turned all the way down. Speaking of, the bass slide adjuster on the headphone is a really nice feature. The bass can be turned up, or back down, with a simple slide. No fumbling through a menu, or trying to remember which button to press. The volume up and down buttons are also nice and large, and intuitively placed. The built in battery didn't take very long to charge, and seems to hold it's charge for a long time. I've been using these for a few days and the battery still hasn't died. They are a little on the heavy side, and they do kind of pinch a bit after wearing them a few hours. But on the plus side, they stay nice and planted when I move around and they never feel like they might slide off, even when nodding along to the beat. I feel like these would be great for work out headphones.

These headphones did not work for me and I had to return them. They pinched my ear and I didn't think the sound was all that great. Others may have a better experience with them. I have purchased this brand in the past and was satisfied.

These ANC headphones by Skullcandy sound pretty good. My biggest gripe is the style of the headband which could be a little smaller and comfortable for my taste compared to other headphones I have in the same price range. Please do work and connect very well with my smartphone and my tablet no issues with Bluetooth at all. Battery life is good I get a solid 3 days of listening with these The ear covers are comfortable The biggest downside is the headband I'm not a fan of the looks and it's not as comfortable as it could be. I would say if you're looking for an affordable pair of good sounding ANC headphones with good battery life I wouldn't look much further than these they're pretty good and do what they say they do. I was able to stay up to 30 ft of my phone and still keep connection without any breakups or interference while in the house or outside. I would definitely recommend these if you're on the fence on deciding whether or not to pick these up. I would really like to see a pricier version of these with a more comfortable headband.

I was excited when I first tried these on and felt my ears shake. After a while it felt like that first thump was gone and became like an echo and cheap sounding. I had high hopes for these but I think the bass is not accurate.

Sound is decent. Bass is strong till you hit the lower notes then it doesn't hit very hard. Dropped it once and the hinges broke on it. I would think a set this expensive could take a few hits.

I had the volume up on everything, and when I was on the plane, and the jets fired up, I could barely hear my Ipad. I ended up with some JVC's that work better for me.

These are ok but not worth the price. The bass is more vibration than bass and sound quality is not great. I had the volume all the way up and still couldn't hear well

Amazing haptic bass headphones, with some caveats

The Skullcandy Crusher 3.0 headphones offer some truly unique features, but you will have to compromise in other areas. Overall, they are an interesting set of headphones, but I'm not sure if they would be optimal for daily use. Setting up these headphones was a breeze. Just charge them, pair them with your phone's Bluetooth connection, and you're all set. The controls are very intuitive, with 3 buttons controlling power, pairing, track skipping, and volume, and an adjustable slider used to adjust the haptic bass feedback. As for sound, these actually sound much better than the Skullcandy I remember from years ago. The uncolored sound (with the haptic bass off), is relatively well balanced, with good bass, highs, and pretty good clarity as well. These don't sound like a detailed pair of studio cans, but the sound is good, fun, and engaging. The haptic bass...wow. It really does emulate what it's like to be listening to something with, say, 2 12" subwoofers in the trunk of your car. I really like that you can adjust this feature, to go from over the top, literal head shaking bass, to a more even presentation, like a nice, sealed 10" woofer that's adding the right amount of depth and vibration. This feature is the main selling point of these headphones, and I have to say it is impressive. It's quite shocking that these can run for nearly 50 hours on a charge, considering how "excited" the audio is, with these haptic drivers running. Audio clarity does suffer a bit when the bass is turned up, as it seems to slightly overpower the standard drivers pumping out the rest of the music. I found that these sounded pretty good with streaming content and movies as well, although I typically slid the slider to a lower position when watching things like YouTube. For movies, the extra haptic bass is pretty fun for action scenes and explosions. Despite the good sound and impressive bass, I do wish these headphones were more comfortable to wear. The ear cups do not articulate from side to side, so getting an exact fit is slightly difficult. Also, the ear pad openings are not that large, meaning the ear pads rested on top of my ears, which is never as comfortable as pads that completely surround your ear. Lastly, the adjustment sliders have no notches, and just move freely, meaning you can easily accidentally change where you had them set to. This is something that drives me crazy on headphones, and I really don't understand the rationale of doing it this way. Build quality seems decent, which is evident when examining the wires that run from the headband to the ear cups: they are large gauge wires, and feel robust. The ear pads are soft, squishy, I just wish they were roomier. And I REALLY wish that the ear cups were not fixed in place. This makes it so much harder to get a really good fit on your head, leading to uncomfortable wearing sessions. And that's where my opinion may vary from yours. If these issues don't bother you, I'd say go for it. My opinions are subjective, and when it comes to headphones, many people don't agree on even the basics. Still, I think if a pair of headphones is NOT comfortable, then I will not want to wear them for very long, which is what is happening with the Crusher 3.0. I really want to love these headphones, and based on the sound and haptic bass, I'd give them a 4.5 stars, as there really isn't anything like it on the market. However, due to the issues I experienced, I have to give these headphones 3 stars. Users who don't mind on-ear headphones, with some quirks/issues, may be willing to look past these problems for head shaking bass. If that sounds like you, I'd give these a try!
