I love these headphones! the sound quality is awesome, never heard anything like them before. the bass boost control is the coolest thing on a pair of headphones I've seen. whether listening to music, or an intense tv show, these provide a very immersive experience. Now, I've heard that the Crusher 360 version have even better sound quality, but at a higher price point, as well as having a lower battery life. These say they last up to 40 hours, and I usually go about a week or two before I have to charge. They are pretty comfy, don't cause my head/ears to overheat. only "cons" for me are that the ear cups don't swivel, so they are awkward to wear around the neck when not listening, and if the headband gets bumped, there is an audible reverb that is slightly annoying.

GREAT BASS with pretty good sound!

After using this for about 18 months now, I still love it for the price I got it. I love the feature of adjusting the bass to where I want it. I feel like I have more control of my music and how I want it to sound. I can wear these for hours on a plane and no headache or discomfort to my ears. Sometimes after a long flight or car drive, I take them off and I complain that my ears get cold until I adjust again, sounds dumb, but it is a good thing! Keeps the sound in and produces great mid-to-low range sound. These are not incredibly expensive so they are not going to be AMAZING sound all around but for the price, it is super worth it and you will love them everytime you use them!

    My favorite pair of headphones

I've had a few pair of Skullcandy headphones, before this I was using the Hesh 2 wireless headphones regularly. These are much nicer, the sound is better and the bass is much more intense, although turned up all the way can be too much. They feel much more comfortable than the Hesh 2 wireless ones, although I didn't think those were too bad. They also last longer and take less time to charge which is nice. I haven't noticed that the sound leaks very much, but if you have them turned up high they might a little. They are a little pricey, but if you wait for a sale you can get these for around 100.00, which I feel is a good pick up point. If you are an audiophile you will probably be less impressed, but overall they are definitely a nice set of headphones.

I got my wife the Venue thinking it would be better then the Crusher (Higher price = Better) buuut in this cause it was not at all. This pair comes with added bass that vibrates just like the back seat of a car with an awesome sound system. There is a small toggle slider on the left back side and it gives to direct instant control of the output. The material is great, and the size even fits my fat head. The only con is that it doesn’t come with a hard case with purchase. It does fold up to allow for easy storage away from the kids. Get the warranty for added protection for 2 years and enjoy in peace. Oh and yes the noise reduction padding is great!

The previous Crusher, which I own as well, was one of the most pleasant and auditory fulfilling experiences I have ever had listening to music. With this new model all I can say is that everything has been either maintained or improved. The sound quality is better the comfort and fit is better and the addition of making it wireless now with a more than decent battery life ( I tested and got about 30 hrs playback on about 60% volume ) has made the headphone hands down my favorite. Great price, Great fit, Great sound..the bass even when booster is off is phenomenal. You cant lose with this headphone. PS. I am not sure if this situation was unique to me but using the headphone wirelessly yielded a better sound to me than when the wire was connected. AMAZING!!!

The sound and bass in these headphones are second to none. They are comfortable and hold a long charge. I'm just concerned because they seem to already becoming a little loose with only having used them a month. I feel like the durability is in question.

Purchased the headphones on Black Friday 2017 for $99. These headphones have such a huge bass kick. I charged them up on Christmas 12/25/2017 and used them at night for about an hour or more during the next month and did not have to charge them up. The claim of a 22 hour listening time is completely valid! I was completely surprised that the headphones can be as clear and bassy, as well they can hold up to constant play time. For me, the Skull Crusher is super comfortable, I have even fallen asleep with them on and woken up the next morning with them still on. It is now March 21, 2018 and I have had to charge it up only 2 times! Excellent headphones for under $100 on sale! Full price of $200 are still a good value.

These are the best over-the-ear headphones I have ever bought. They are so comfortable, adjust size easily, and hold tight without being uncomfortable. The battery life is incredible. It says 40 hours and doesn't disappoint. I initially charged the headphones when I bought them and haven't had to charge them since! I am not sure if it does some charging while connected via 3.5mm jack but it must. I listen to them between 5 and 8 hours a day a mix of plugged in and Bluetooth and haven't had to charge them. The bass slider is amazing too. Sometimes I want the bass to hit hard and others I may want the bass a little lower and the ability to change that on the fly is wonderful. DEFINITELY worth the month!

First of all if you have any reviews, you know they will mention the insane bass. I am here to tell you it lives up to the hype and then some. I don't push the bass up much because it sounds great without it. Other than that though they are SUPER comfortable. I wear them for long hours while I write code and they never get uncomfortable. I also where them to the gym. The battery life is AMAZING I take them to work and to the gym 5 days a week and only have to charge it maybe twice a month. Great sound, absolutely thrilled them them!

After listening to this with my usual songs with my Sennheiser HD600, ATH m40x and HIFI 560 well... They are not audiophile headphones but I gotta say... They sure are fun!!! The bass is so nice to have under my control as much as I want, or not at all songs like Tennessee by Arrested Development is just awesome songs that need the bass you got the availability of add or reduce it as need it and the clearity never suffers the 40hr battery life is just amazing and having a big set of ears and bigger head didn't make a difference they are comfortable but with a tight clamp but so far so good!!! Highly recommend it!!!

I've only had them 5 days but I've used them on and off every day for hours at a time. Battery life is great. Fits surprisingly well. I'm a woman, I find over ear ones to have too much suction. The bass...the bass is just OMG and it's not all about the bass :P the sound quality is amazing too! Noise cancellation is pretty good. Music isnt audible by others unless they're sitting right next to you and I'd say that's almost on the highest volume option of both your phone and the head phones. Bluetooth is almost flawless, once in a great while it'll crackle for a second. Also, I love the feeling of them. I actually love EVERYTHING about them!!! No complaints!

I bought these on sale and had been looking at getting them for a while. I’ve had them a month and they haven’t been charged since I got them. It’s insane how long the battery life is. The bass feature is awesome and it’s something different. They also sound good. They aren’t loud to the person sitting next to you. And they are good at blocking outside noise as well. But they aren’t something I can wear more then a couple hours at a time. And might not be the best pick for using at the gym. But overall if you want something for around the house that really cranks and has amazing battery life these are perfect.

I was in the market for a new pair of headphones after my Beats failed me and I am not disappointed. The first thing I love is the fact that these have up to a 40 hour playtime and adjustable bass. I listen to a lot of different genres so this is important because sometimes all that bass is not needed. They are comfortable enough to where I don’t get that raw ear feeling after wearing them for hours. Another key point about these is you don’t have to go wireless. They come with an six cord that has an in-line mic in case you need or want to plug in. The only advice I’d give is to go with the darker pair. At first I had the creamy tan colored ones but I walk and sweat sometimes with them and was constantly having to clean the cuffs.

I read many reviews on over-the-ear bluetooth headphones, and I went to a few different stores to try some on and compare them. I ended up at Best Buy, and I found myself comparing 4 specific headphones. Skullcandy Crusher ($150) - Sony Extra Bass ($150) - JBL Everest Elite 700 ($225) - Beats By Dre Studio ($248). They were all equally comfortable and they all sounded great. I recently had an expensive Sony car stereo die one month after the 1 year warranty was up, and I'm still a bit sour with the Sony brand....so I passed on the Sony's. As far as the JBL and Beats headphones....they both sound great. But to spend $75-100 more for what I needed and wanted?....that's just not the right way to spend money. I have installed many high end car stereo systems over the past 20 years in my own vehicles, so I've always been very big on sound quality. I believe that I heard all the sound I wanted with the Skullcandy headphones. Plus....the Skullcandy set has an adjustable bass control....which is an added bonus. For me....being able to dial in the perfect amount of low-end is just like being able to adjust the subwoofer in my car to make everything blend just right. Some older recorded music (like Rush) has a lack of bass, and some newer music (like Korn) just needs to be dialed in a touch to smooth out the low to midrange transition. I am very happy with the Skullcandy Crusher headphones....and with the $75+ that I saved....I went online and downloaded 8 MP3 albums. Nice!

The main focus of these headphones is obviously bass. I haven't turned the haptic slider past 1/5th of max and it's plenty. The mids and highs aren't very crisp, but that's not why you're getting these. They are pretty comfortable after wearing them in. They are super tight at first, and I have a narrow head. Due to the tight seal they create, the passive noise cancelling is decent. I can't hear anything when I'm doing dishes. I have to keep one ear out to make sure my kids aren't getting into too much trouble. I don't think they're worth the $200 price, I got mine 50% off. But then again, I'm a cheapskate!

By far the best pair of headphones I've ever had. I'm a bass junkie when it comes to head phones and these beat all my expectations. great sound and astonishing BASS, they literally cause the side of my head and inside of my ears to tingle. And super comfy on the head. I have AUTISM and they have a very nice tight fit. I love the feel. Very very pleased Skullcandy, 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all the way.

There is nothing like these headphones for bass lovers. I am completely spoiled with the bass quality of these headphones. Audiophiles need now apply though - if you're looking for fidelity then you need to look elsewhere. They're actually pretty good headphones throughout the spectrum, but you'll still get lots of bass where you probably don't want to hear it (classical, jazz, spoken word, podcasts, etc.) I like the ergonomics of these headphones. The over the ear design fits very well over my ears, and the controls are especially easy to use (+ and - shaped buttons make it very easy to immediately find the control you need without having to fumble around too much). I never feel like they're too heavy or that they're squeezing my head too much. I wear these things all over the place - while doing house work, while working, while walking, biking, air travel, etc. They work very well for noisy environments. There's no noise cancellation tech but the closed cup design helps to keep out a decent amount of ambient noise, even during a flight. The mic leaves a little bit to be desired. It doesn't cancel out ambient noise so if there's noise around you it gets picked up when you're using the mic. I've also had complaints that my voice sounds robotic and metallic when using this mic, so I've stopped using it altogether for work calls, opting instead for a Jabra Evolve2 65 headset for that purpose. But let's be honest - I didn't buy Crushers for voice calls, so I'll give 'em a pass on that criteria. I'm rating these a 4 rather than a 5 because of the durability. After regular use (around 1 year for me), the metal headband and the plastic connection point will loosen as cracks develop in the plastic, and they'll become so loose that they slide right off. The first pair I purchased was so loose I couldn't hold it together with tape, so I purchased another pair, and the same thing has happened with these. I was however able to salvage them using masking tape, but it's quite unsightly walking around like that so I switched to black electrical tape, which doesn't work as well since electrical tape stretches over time. I will probably purchase another pair soon because I can't imagine moving to another brand that doesn't have the haptic feedback. I really wish Skullcandy could do something about the durability issues, because these really are fantastic headphones.
