Super fun for very specific genres
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can think of no better term to describe this headset than "trunk-rattle headphones." The bass slider is a really fun gimmick that works super well for certain genres of music with lots of heavy bass. You know, stuff you would blast on a terrible car with an expensive stereo system that rattles all the body panels with the bass. If you have the slider cranked all the way up, it can be even more fun because you can feel the entire headset vibrating with the force of the speakers. I'm not entirely convinced that this is good for your ears, but again, it's *fun*. Here is the biggest catch - these are very much not all-purpose headphones. The bass utterly destroys a lot of songs when turned up, and when turned off they are a very very average headset. I would go so far as to call them solidly mid when the bass is turned off. They're not bad by any means, but the bass slider gimmick is very clearly the reason for this headset's existence. So, before you buy these, you should be aware of what you're getting into. I would not recommend an audiophile to get these, I don't even really think these should necessarily be a primary headset. But if you want a wearable trunk rattle so you can have that horrific level of bass without disturbing others, this is your headset. There's nothing else on the market quite like it. When I was a teenager, I would have loved getting this headset as a gift. I will say, one thing I'm not super delighted about is the fit. In terms of function, they're pretty great - decent range, decent battery life, pretty bare-bones (no additional options with an app or anything like that), and you can use an AUX cable with them (which I really appreciate, and so would anyone with an iPod or cheap MP3 player). However, they are a small bit tight on larger heads, and I would have liked it if the ear cups had a bit more range they could swivel. Overall, I like these. Avoid them like the plague if you're an audiophile, but there is absolutely nothing else on the market I'm aware of that has this level of bass baked into it so if that's what you're after, go for it.

Great overall headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are the best. Great sound, even greater bass!!! Really comfortable design. Comes packed with a nice well built carrying case, audio wire for that option to directly plug it in to a headphone jack, charging usb cord. The price is unbeatable, compared to the overly priced beats headphones. My only complaint about these is, the mids and high ends are not that loud. I mean it still sounds loud. But i like my music loud and crisp sometimes.

Not very happy
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to add my review after so long only because I am tired of crappy wireless headphones. These no longer hold a charge (after 3 months) and the Bluetooth obviously can't work then. My only option is wired, so now I have these expensive wired headphones that aren't even comfortable.

Bass heavy Bluetooth workhorses
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Bluetooth cans really impressed me. I could deal without the graphics on the side, but I’m willing to let that slide because they are understated. The Bluetooth is where this really stands out as I was unable to get these to disconnect while walking out to my car from my house which is about 40 feet and that is something nearly every other Bluetooth headset has failed at. They always disconnect and I’m always resetting my Teams because of it. My team is able to hear me crystal clear they say so the included microphone is spot on. The bass that these deliver is truly impressive and I love that they come with a wire to use when you want to connect to a video game console or whatever. I use the wired option to plug directly into my MPC for zero-latency and again, I am rewarded by massive bass thumps, which is amazing to hear while using the DAW. The build quality on these is outstanding and I have yet to use a case. I just clip these on my backpack and grab them when I need them for work. These wireless headphones have replaced my in ear headphones as I can wear these for hours and they don’t cause the fatigue that my others did. Highly recommended.

Best Headphones For The Price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an affordable set of wireless over the ear headphones. I'm coming from the Beatz $450 set that finally broke after 4 years. The Beatz bass was ok, I wanted a bit better. Tried on all the major brands. Prices were too much for what you got. I was about to leave when my coworker said "You have got to listen to these!" I said "Skullcandy? Really? This is a joke right?" I put those on with the haptic bass feedback and I cant believe Skullcandy has literally perfected the wireless headphones! The bass is awesome! And with the adjustable slider you can add or reduce to your liking and style of music. Battery life? 40 hours!!!! I charge mine once a week with moderate to heavy use! Comfort....I give that about an 8. Any headset will hurt after so many hours but i give it 4-5 hours before that happens. Price? 1/3 of the competitors! You will not go wrong with these!

Great Headphones!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm super picky about my sound quality, but I didn't want to drop the money for another pair of Beats but Dr. Dre Studio 3's. Over the past 3 days I've tried 3 different headphones; JBL 500 Live, Skullcandy Venue, and now Skullcandy Crusher. The JBL 500's hurt my ears and the Skullcandy Venue was lacking in the bass department. I just exchanged the Venue's for the Crusher's this morning and let me just say, after playing the first song I knew I found the perfect headphones! In my opinion these headphones are on the level of Studio Beats for way less money! They're super comfortable. The battery life is longer than Beats. You can feel the bass. It doesn't look like they sync with the Tile app like the Venue's do, so that sucks, but overall, I'm pleased. I'd definitely suggest these to a friend.

Good wireless headphones for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unboxing, the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless Headphones looked really good right away. I’m replacing an older pair of wireless headphones that stopped working after a couple of years, so I’m hoping these last longer. I picked these mainly because of the price and the features. I didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted something decent. So far I like them. Sound quality is actually better than I expected for the price. The bass definitely the highlight, especially with the adjustable slider, but regular audio still sounds clear enough for everyday listening. Not super high-end or anything, but good. They’re also pretty comfortable. The ear cups feel soft and I can wear them for a while without it bothering me, which was important to me. Overall, I’d recommend these for the price. You get a lot of features and they’ve been great so far. Pros: -strong adjustable bass -good sound for the price -comfortable to wear -easy to connect -affordable Cons: -bass can be a bit much if turned up too high -build feels okay, not super premium

Best Buy...Get it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went in to purchase a new pair of headphones for the gym. Went in looking at these and the beats...So I tried on this pair first to test them out for comfort and sound..5/5 for both. The sound quality is awesome. The Blu Tooth range is good also even though I have not tested the full range yet. I turn on my iPhone, turn on my headphones, put phone in bag and walk away. No cracking or skipping noise. I recommend these headphones to anyone looking to purchase Beats first. You wont be disappointed. Im not knocking Beats at all. I still like them but If you like bass and clear sound from a headphone set look no further. Thanks Skullcandy for making these..btw got them on sale for 99.00 bucks. Great job..

Bass control is overpowering. Just bad.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has bass even without music playing. A constant rumble for bass. Horible performance overall. I have returned it and purchased the active noise canceling instead for 50 dollars more.

Skullcandy crusher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason why I gave one star it is because there was sound on my left side and some sound on my right side. The slider for the subwoofer is always a pain! I have tried to use the controls button it doesn't skip the songs very well.
