My son injured his eye (scratched a cornea - ouch!) and I wanted to get him something that would help him pass the time while his eye healed. That left out videos and most other entertainment gadgets. Thought wireless headphones might be a good idea. Looked at Bose and Beats. Had a set of the Bose and while nice sound that kind of describes it - nice. My son is a bass head from way back and wanted something with a little more punch. Reviews suggested these and the local Best Buy guy I spoke with agreed that these for bass were the best gadget out there in headphone land. Took the plunge (on sale for $139.00) and gave them to him. Well, he loves them. Let me try them out, and frankly I was impressed as well. As I am a bass head too, I finally gave in and got a pair for myself. The bass is really phenomenal for a set of headphones. Paired easily to my computer. Shoot to Thrill gets your feet tapping thorough these things. Mids and treble are good but not superb and sound just a tiny bit "muted" to me, but not a lot. If I could have given a 4.5 I would have. Then again, I am listening through Bluetooth and headphones. But comparatively speaking I think these are a better buy that the Bose I have. In this price range, if you like bass these are your boys.

I got these for a steal today for 89.99. the sound is amazing and a lot better than the so-called Beats.. Don't waste your money on Beats they don't even sound that good anymore. go with these you will not be disappointed.

These headphones are more than great. They are perfect. The sound quality beats any headphone I have ever owned. I am so glad I got them while they were on sale! I am having a hard time taking them off of my head.

I love these! I use them all the time for gym sessions and walking. You can set the base as high or as low as you want. Really enhances the music! Highly recommend!

i love thee headphones, they are like sub woofer attached to ears,Bluetooth range is okay,battery life is excellent excellent.i bought these in best buy for 100 dollars before thanksgiving.

Pound for Pound better than beats. Bass wise. Strong and nice looking. Ear area very soft. I would recommend this for beat nuts

I've NEVER written a review before. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and after listening to them two hours later went and bought a pair for myself. They are amazing.

This headphones sound really good, especially with movies, but its been a year since i got them and i know have electrical tape holding the earpieces to the headband. They have been used about three times a week.

The Bass is absolutely amazing! Tried on Beats, Bose, and Sony...these Skulls was ten times better. If you love bass or a Bass Head these are perfect!

Finally I can listen to my music without disturbing the rest of the block...

I love the bass which lacks in most brands these days....that wire that sticks out above the earpads is not bothersome but they would have hide that some how but overall these headphones are awesomeeeee you will love it plus picked it up for $90 at best buy they price matched costo which is on sale at Costco until the 31st for 90 these are well worth it ....JBL doesnt even really give you real bass anymore

The bass on the headphones are heavy bass and you can feel the bass

Unfortunately, I cant edit my review. So here's an update. These headphones are so uncomfortable!! I cannot wear them for more than an hour. I own the uproar wireless headphones and I could wear them all day! The sound is great, but not worth getting a huge headache over! The bass can make you sick too! Very heavy, and hurts your head from the pressure! Small heads beware! Do not buy!

I have lots of headphones from different brands including Bose, Sony, Creative, Philips, Apple... none of them can compete with these headphones in terms of bass. In fact, these headphones have way too much bass (adjustable)... more than needed I think. Nevertheless that's what buyers also want and it does its job good...
