Ear muff fell off easily. Has good quality sound, but the quality of the headphones isn't good. This happened after being used for one month. Terrible product and disappointing. worse of all, can not be returned because of Bestbuy return policy.

Wow! I own other Skullcandy headphones, including a previous version of the Crusher series and these are by far the best version to date. Skullcandy seems to have their own thing going as far as electronics styling is concerned. They have their own unique styling and aren’t too forward with their logo, which is a welcome sight. When wearing these, I feel great not having a massive logo on each of my ears. These headphones look the part, and definitely sound the part, which is ultimately the single most important part in choosing an audio product. Let's cut to the chase… SOUND QUALITY & AUDIODO The new Crusher EVO series have teamed up with Audiodo and Tile (more on Tile later), to bring a truly feature packed great set of headphones to market. With the free Skullcandy app, you can actually take a hearing test with test tones guided by the app, to customize your listening experience and tailor it to your (custom) ears. Let’s face it, not everyone's ears are even remotely the same, therefore this feature is an awesome addition to the package. The first thing I did after charging the headphones when unboxed, was to download the app and take the sound test. The test only took a minute or two and once complete, the app even showed me my personal graph on how each of my ears comprehended the test tones separately (see photo). Pretty cool feature! Once that was all complete, I opened my music streaming app and started testing different types of music. Everything from full blown metal, to pop, hiphop, and even classical, sounded really, really good. The bass level slider on the left headphone is placed right under the power button and is easy to operate to add minimal, all the way to head thumping bass. An excellent feature considering you may not want hiphop level bass when listening to other genres of music. That said, if you want to go crazy and thump thump, the power to do so is at your fingertip at all times. Other than the customization with Audiodo and the bass slider, the fidelity of the headphones is very nice. Having owned many of the competing brand (over ear) headphones, I can say without a doubt that the Crusher Evo is on par with the best consumer headphones you can get at the time of this review. STYLING & COMFORT As stated before, the styling (to me) is perfect. They aren’t too big, or small, but just right. There isn’t a massive billboard logo on each side. They fold down flat on your chest when not in use making them more comfortable to have on for extended periods of time. The ear cushions are super soft and comfortable and don’t cause any fatigue. The weight is also perfect for me and I do not feel any crown fatigue when wearing them for a long time. THE OTHER STUFF With Tile built in, you will always know where your headphones are. I didn’t have a Tile account until these, so I signed up quickly for one online and tested the feature to see how it performed. Once paired with my headphones, the Tile app found my headphones easily. There is a pulsing radar type graphic that gets stronger as you get closer to them (see photo). The headphones also make a whistling sound as you get closer even while they are turned off! To charge the headphones, you use the included USB-C cable. Much better (IMO) than a micro USB cable. Battery life seems excellent so far. I have only charged them once when unboxed and have been listening all week. They also provide a travel bag and a standard gold plated audio cable in case you want to plug them into an audio source. All in all, I can’t say enough good things about this Crusher Evo series and I highly recommend you check them out. PROS: Awesome sound quality with customizable bass level Audiodo custom personal profiling for even more fine tuned sound Excellent styling and very comfortable Tile built in USB-C charging Headphones rotate to lay flat on your chest I like how the power button is orange so it can be identified easily CONS: I would like to see a molded hard shell case included from manufacturers in the future for all premium headphone sets

Very attractive packing with minimal extra materials. These headphone right out of the box feel very impressive, they have a nice texture and all moving parts feel well made. They have weight showing they are quality, but not too much to be uncomfortable. I have worn these for hours and they remained comfortable. The Crusher EVO also has excellent battery life with an unbelievable quick charge if needed. I have used them for a couple of days full use without needed a recharge, but it is nice to know that 10 minutes of power will give me an additional 4 hours. This will be great when back in the airports. Now for the over the top stuff, the sound quality is excellent and the adjustable bass is out of this world. I watched a movie on my laptop and felt like I was there. As the earth shook, so did I. The phone app allow for true customization to year ears and preference. I have also used these during conference video calls and the sound quality is the best on the call. The carry case is also impressive, it is much better than cases provided with other brands and the controls are super easy to manage. Easiest controls of any headphones I have had. You cannot go wrong with these!

This is the first time I've enjoyed using big, over the ear headphones. I'm not really particular with using these type as I get a migraine easily. But I'm amazed on the comfort level. They cup very nicely in my ears and the buttons are super easy to access and navigate. To say the least, WOW! The crushing bass is simply phenomenal! The experience I've had with these has been nothing but amazement! I watch 2 virtual (online) live concerts and I was simply blown away! Listening to JB and RBD was very immersive! And watching a film was surreal! The sounds these Evo Crushers emanate when I'm listening to music is beyond breathtaking. The materials used are of high quality and the design is of great craftsmanship. The tech behind them are a plus! With a great app for additional enhancements, a carrying pouch, a built-in Tile that helps you locate your headphones even when offline, fast charging and a long battery life, you can't go wrong with Skullcandy Evo Crushers. Beyond ecstatic!

Skullcandy Crusher Evo Brings the Bass!!

I’ve used different Skullcandy earphones over the years, and recently they have really stepped up on their bass-emphasized systems and the Crusher Evo over-the-ear headphones is another great example of just that…Feeling the Bass! On opening the box, there is a neat rollup carry case, the headphones, user guide and audio and charging (USB-C) cables. Glad to see Skullcandy going to the USB-C cable. I was really impressed with the build quality and the overall look of the Evos. The matte black body and black leather over-ear pads look stealthy and really well built. There is a rubber cushion on the arm that is really comfortable and holds the earphones in place. The control buttons are on the larger size for easy use, without being too big. The ability to adjust volume and tracks without having to take out my iPhone is a big plus. Essentially every feature of the headphones can be adjusted/controlled on the headphones including volume, track and of course bass levels. A very helpful User Guide is included in the box and walks through all of the controls, setup and usage. It took about 10 minutes from unboxing to fully customized bass-rocking music. There's a Skullcandy app that should be downloaded, it's got a great sound-customization process. It's kind of like a hearing test which sets up the headphone's output based on the user's hearing. Sound - this is what it's all about, and the Crusher Evos did not let me down. Skullcandy has done a great job of balancing the highs, mids and lows...and then they take it a step further with the Sensory Haptic Bass feature. With a slide of the control on the left ear cup, the haptic bass response can be boosted from nothing to whole body thumping goodness. Skullcandy App – the app still has some room to grow, but has come a long way in the year plus I’ve been using it. The best feature is the audio test to set up user-specific audio output. It takes about 3 minutes and is like the old hearing test from grade school. Once completed, Audiodo™ technology is used to adjust audio output to the specific user’s hearing. The personal sound feature can be turned on/off in the app. There are also settings for music, podcast and movie modes which adjust the audio for the specified usage. Battery level and other info is also provided via the app. Fit - the headphones are super adjustable and can really be customized to the user. The plush leather over-ear cups and rubber headband pad form to the head nicely and hold the headphones in place. I wore them for nearly 5 hours while doing yardwork and there were no "hot spots" or discomfort after being worn for an extended timeframe. And the rubberized headband kept them from moving around while moving around vigorously. Battery Life – It seemed like there was no way of running these headphones out of juice. They were run for hours on multiple days before the % dropped into the 20s in the app. Plugged them in and tried the quick charge of about 10 minutes and the charge jumped up over 60%. Pros: - Build quality is solid as expected from Skullcandy - Controls are easy to find and use while wearing the headphones - Sound quality is outstanding and the Haptic Bass feature is awesome! - Updates to Skullcandy App including Podcast and Movie modes - Foldability and included bag are bonuses for travelers - Easy setup with the Skullcandy app, including Personal Sound setup - Great battery life and quick charge feature - Phone call and voice assistant support Cons: - Didn’t really find any, Skullcandy is “Crushing” it with their headphones! Overall, these are headphones that I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for great sound and the option to really Feel the Bass!

All about that bass in a fun unique way

As a general, all-purpose, for every situation headphone, these are not my go-to headphones, but for music that celebrates bass or action movies, they are a really fun and a unique experience. Because these aren’t my default go-to headphones, I initially had rated these at 4/5 stars. However, the sensory bass feature is really so unique and fun that it almost can’t be compared to other headphones. In my mind, it both creates a new category of headphones and rises to the top of it, so for that reason these headphones get 5 stars from me. THE GREAT The unique thing about these headphones is the Adjustable Sensory Bass technology. What that effectively means is that you can feel the music, just like the deep shaking you can feel with a sub-woofer, but not in a way that is just "louder". It genuinely adds a different experience that I haven't found anywhere else, and watching any movie with deep bass, particularly action movies, really take on a new and more enjoyable experience. — The slider on the headphones to adjust the sensory bass is such a clever implementation, and I find myself changing it between songs to really bring out the beauty the artist intended for a much larger subwoofer enhanced system. So many headphones allow EQ settings to be adjusted within an app, but for such a crucial feature, the implementation of a slider on the headphones was pure perfection. I would definitely take off a star or two had this not been physically adjustable because it feels necessary and really completes the product. To recap — Adjustable Sensory Bass is freaking awesome and really THE reason to pick these headphones over others. THE GOOD Sound quality —Over all good to great, and I don’t really have complaints here. It’s really the sensory bass that makes these worth getting over other headphones, and other brands in this quality range definitely match the sound quality apart from that. Design — The headphones themselves are comfortable. They fold to become more compact, but since I haven’t really traveled with them, they generally just stay opened sitting on my desk or hanging from a headphone stand. THE DISAPPOINTING Noise Cancellation — These headphones don’t have noise cancellation so while they’re great for louder music and really add a new dimension to the bass aspect of music and movies, they fail a bit in a loud environment when playing quieter music due to lack of noise cancellation which can be found on similar headphones. Microphone / Phone Calls — I’m not sure why, but I found that while using these headphones and received an incoming call, the audio did not switch to my headset as it normally does with my wireless headphones. I haven’t spent too much time troubleshooting this feature as it wasn’t a deal breaker, but it didn’t “just work” easily for me. OVERALL If you can live without noise cancellation, and are interested in the adjustable sensory bass feature that really brings music to life, I would definitely recommend these headphones. I still find myself reaching for in-ear buds most of the time for the sake of convenience and use of microphone while on a call or in a meeting, but the Crusher Evo still get picked up a few times a week. If you’re looking for a generic pair of headphones to use in a noisy environment, I’d go with a pair that supports noise cancellation over these. However, as mentioned several times, the sensory bass is truly a game changing experience and for that reason I would happily recommend giving these a try. These are the first headphones I’ve tried that have really been an experience. If you want to experience music in a new way, pick these up and see for yourself.

Alright listen. I’m not an audiophile. I’m not out here analyzing mids or debating codecs on Reddit. I just want bass. Like feel it in my chest, shake my skull, rattle my spine kind of bass. And the Crusher Evo? Bro. This thing delivers. The Bass Slider Is My God Now There’s this slider on the side. You push it up, and it’s like—BOOM. Your whole head turns into a subwoofer. I’m talking seat-rattling car audio levels of low-end. I cranked it all the way up on Travis Scott and literally had to sit down. It’s not just sound—it’s vibration. Like the headphones are punching you in the jaw with every kick drum. I don’t even care what the song is. If it’s got 808s, I’m in. Comfort? Yeah Whatever They’re comfy enough. Big cushions, soft headband. I wear them for hours while binging shorts or zoning out. They’re kinda chunky, but who cares. I’m not trying to win a fashion show—I’m trying to feel like I’m inside a subwoofer. And these do that. Battery for Days I charged these once and forgot about it. Like 40 hours or something like that. I’ve gone a whole month blasting bass and they’re still alive. USB-C too, so it charges fast if you somehow manage to kill it. App Stuff? I Guess There’s an app that does a hearing test and makes the sound “personalized.” I did it once and never touched it again. I just keep the bass slider maxed and vibe. That’s the only setting I need. Final Thoughts Look. If you’re the kind of person who says “I just want bass,” stop reading reviews and buy the Crusher Evo. It’s not perfect. No noise canceling, no fancy features. But none of that matters when your skull is vibrating like a jackhammer. These headphones don’t just play music—they destroy it.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo wireless will not be the only pair I ever purchase but, they are one of the best bang for sound and price I have used. They are a superior buy for the $150-$200 price range. They offer you a solid build quality and ridiculous long battery life. For those sound enthusiast craving the very best sound for wireless headphones the Crushers may fall just a few bars short but, not enough to say they are out of the top 5 in my opinion . The Crusher Wireless headphones are comfortable, have good sound and offer you an exceptional battery life of over 30 hrs. Add the haptic bass feedback and now you have an enjoyable punch to low frequency sound.

Overall, these are great. I like the ability to adjust the bass, which I hadn't actually thought I'd use. Set-up instructions were clear and pretty concise, and the battery life is great. As some others have mentioned, the headphones are on the heavier side. I have a small head, and due to the weight these are a little more liable to slip off if I bend over even slightly, which is a bit annoying. On the plus side, I am finding them more comfortable to wear with my glasses on than I expected. My biggest issue is that Best Buy notes them as noise-cancelling, but they are not. Sound isolating, yes, but they are NOT actively noise cancelling. I probably wouldn't have purchased them if I'd realized. This isn't an issue with the headphones themselves, just the Best Buy listing.
