All about that bass in a fun unique way

As a general, all-purpose, for every situation headphone, these are not my go-to headphones, but for music that celebrates bass or action movies, they are a really fun and a unique experience. Because these aren’t my default go-to headphones, I initially had rated these at 4/5 stars. However, the sensory bass feature is really so unique and fun that it almost can’t be compared to other headphones. In my mind, it both creates a new category of headphones and rises to the top of it, so for that reason these headphones get 5 stars from me. THE GREAT The unique thing about these headphones is the Adjustable Sensory Bass technology. What that effectively means is that you can feel the music, just like the deep shaking you can feel with a sub-woofer, but not in a way that is just "louder". It genuinely adds a different experience that I haven't found anywhere else, and watching any movie with deep bass, particularly action movies, really take on a new and more enjoyable experience. — The slider on the headphones to adjust the sensory bass is such a clever implementation, and I find myself changing it between songs to really bring out the beauty the artist intended for a much larger subwoofer enhanced system. So many headphones allow EQ settings to be adjusted within an app, but for such a crucial feature, the implementation of a slider on the headphones was pure perfection. I would definitely take off a star or two had this not been physically adjustable because it feels necessary and really completes the product. To recap — Adjustable Sensory Bass is freaking awesome and really THE reason to pick these headphones over others. THE GOOD Sound quality —Over all good to great, and I don’t really have complaints here. It’s really the sensory bass that makes these worth getting over other headphones, and other brands in this quality range definitely match the sound quality apart from that. Design — The headphones themselves are comfortable. They fold to become more compact, but since I haven’t really traveled with them, they generally just stay opened sitting on my desk or hanging from a headphone stand. THE DISAPPOINTING Noise Cancellation — These headphones don’t have noise cancellation so while they’re great for louder music and really add a new dimension to the bass aspect of music and movies, they fail a bit in a loud environment when playing quieter music due to lack of noise cancellation which can be found on similar headphones. Microphone / Phone Calls — I’m not sure why, but I found that while using these headphones and received an incoming call, the audio did not switch to my headset as it normally does with my wireless headphones. I haven’t spent too much time troubleshooting this feature as it wasn’t a deal breaker, but it didn’t “just work” easily for me. OVERALL If you can live without noise cancellation, and are interested in the adjustable sensory bass feature that really brings music to life, I would definitely recommend these headphones. I still find myself reaching for in-ear buds most of the time for the sake of convenience and use of microphone while on a call or in a meeting, but the Crusher Evo still get picked up a few times a week. If you’re looking for a generic pair of headphones to use in a noisy environment, I’d go with a pair that supports noise cancellation over these. However, as mentioned several times, the sensory bass is truly a game changing experience and for that reason I would happily recommend giving these a try. These are the first headphones I’ve tried that have really been an experience. If you want to experience music in a new way, pick these up and see for yourself.

I really like these headphones. The sound quality is great, and the bass boost is probably my favorite part. They have that deep bass you can actually feel, which makes them awesome for working out or just listening to music. They fit good and are comfortable overall. I can wear them for a while without any issues. The only thing I’ve noticed is that my ears do get hotter when I’m working out compared to when I use my AirPods, but that’s kind of expected with over-the-ear headphones. For the sound and bass these have, it’s a trade-off I’m fine with. Overall, I’m happy with them and would definitely recommend them if you like good sound and heavy bass.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo wireless will not be the only pair I ever purchase but, they are one of the best bang for sound and price I have used. They are a superior buy for the $150-$200 price range. They offer you a solid build quality and ridiculous long battery life. For those sound enthusiast craving the very best sound for wireless headphones the Crushers may fall just a few bars short but, not enough to say they are out of the top 5 in my opinion . The Crusher Wireless headphones are comfortable, have good sound and offer you an exceptional battery life of over 30 hrs. Add the haptic bass feedback and now you have an enjoyable punch to low frequency sound.

The best headset ever for Bass lovers

This is without a doubt, the best headset ever for bass lovers. The bass on these is that good! Quality: The build quality on this headset is very high. The body is solid, headband is very pliable and seems like it will hold up for along time. The ear cushions are soft and comfortable with a memory foam filing on the inside and leathery outside. The middle inside of the cups is a foam material. The top of the headband has a rubbery air cushion on it to make sure the top of your head stays comfortable during long sessions. The ear cups turn and fold over for easier storage. They have included a mesh style carry bag that will keep them dry in the rain or away from scratches in your bag, it is nice and soft inside. However, this bag will not prevent them from being crushed, so be aware of that. You also get a 3.5mm cable and the charging cable which is USB-C to USB-A in the box. The 40 hour battery life is one of the best I have seen and another reason I love this headset. Sound: The sound on these is amazing. Music is crisp and can be played at a nice loud volume. The real treat though is the bass on these things. There is a lever on one of the earcups that slides up and down to control how much bass you get and when you turn it up to the max, I promise you that it is a sound like nothing else you have ever experienced in a headset, incredible bass. I was blown away by the power of the bass on these things, you get haptic feedback as well which means that you can literally feel the bass on all throughout your head and it is a great feeling if you love bass how I do. If you prefer less bass, you can keep the lever at the lower positions, but I really feel this headset was made especially for fans that like to turn the bass up. Nothing at this price point comes close to these as far as overall sound in my opinion. Music is clear, sound is loud enough, bass is unmatched. Overall, I love this headset, I feel it is the one to get if you love bass as there is nothing out there even close to this one when it comes to powerful bass that can rattle your head while you bob it to the beat.

Alright listen. I’m not an audiophile. I’m not out here analyzing mids or debating codecs on Reddit. I just want bass. Like feel it in my chest, shake my skull, rattle my spine kind of bass. And the Crusher Evo? Bro. This thing delivers. The Bass Slider Is My God Now There’s this slider on the side. You push it up, and it’s like—BOOM. Your whole head turns into a subwoofer. I’m talking seat-rattling car audio levels of low-end. I cranked it all the way up on Travis Scott and literally had to sit down. It’s not just sound—it’s vibration. Like the headphones are punching you in the jaw with every kick drum. I don’t even care what the song is. If it’s got 808s, I’m in. Comfort? Yeah Whatever They’re comfy enough. Big cushions, soft headband. I wear them for hours while binging shorts or zoning out. They’re kinda chunky, but who cares. I’m not trying to win a fashion show—I’m trying to feel like I’m inside a subwoofer. And these do that. Battery for Days I charged these once and forgot about it. Like 40 hours or something like that. I’ve gone a whole month blasting bass and they’re still alive. USB-C too, so it charges fast if you somehow manage to kill it. App Stuff? I Guess There’s an app that does a hearing test and makes the sound “personalized.” I did it once and never touched it again. I just keep the bass slider maxed and vibe. That’s the only setting I need. Final Thoughts Look. If you’re the kind of person who says “I just want bass,” stop reading reviews and buy the Crusher Evo. It’s not perfect. No noise canceling, no fancy features. But none of that matters when your skull is vibrating like a jackhammer. These headphones don’t just play music—they destroy it.

    Crusher evo phenomenal

The headphones that blow others out of the water! The packaging alone is fantastic it explains everything you need to know about these headphones. That was exceptional to me. Then when you get to the headphones you touch the most velvety silky soft leather your fingers have ever felt. They have memory foam. You can customize the size to adjust it to your head and comfort. When you place them on your head and ears the feel wonderful not hard and pinching like others, they are so lightweight. The minimalistic cords for charging and if you decide that you want to be plugged in instead of bluetooth are fabulous. They even provide an awesome storage/carrying case that is wateresistant and super soft inside. It rolls shut to keep your headphones in and easy carrying. Fantastic. Now when you are ready for the most important part and turn up the music and hear the most clear amazing sounds coming out of your Crusher Evo headphones with optimal bass and yet not distracting noises from around you that's when you know that you have found the perfect headphones. The bass is crazy good and you have full control of how much. Hands down the best I have ever had in headphones. You can sit back listening to your music relax and have not distractions. You have full controls on your Crusher Evo headphones discreetly designed into the headphones side to make your listening experience that much better, so sit back and kick your feet up. As I said before it canceles out all the outside noise so if your using them to listen to music, practice the guitar, study or meditation . These are phenomenal. I definitely recommend these for any member of the household. My entire family enjoyed these.

Best headphones ever and it isn't even close

These are the best headphones ever, if you want the ultimate setup connect the headphone cord to a Dac, preferably a Dual Dac setup and your mind will be blown, Bluetooth is okay but they really bump with the headphone cord connected, I know some oeople don't like that they still need powered on with the cord connected, but man it's one of the most amazing experiences ever, it's one of those things you really can't explain you just have to let them try them to understand, I use a MoonDrop MIAD01 Dap/Phone (the only one I know of available that has a 3.5mm & 4.4mm jacks (along with a Dual Dac setup of course) and that's pretty much all I do anymore when I'm not working, I literally have these things on all the time oh and I have big ears so the factory earpads would only allow me to use them for a few hours at a time so I got the extra large earpads from EBay and omg, they are literally the reason I can listen to them from full charge to dead without taking them off and yes that's a long time to have them on but they're so comfy also, I've tried every pair of Crusher Wireless headphones besides the Active 540's (I even just got a week ago the new Crusher Plyr 720's), well I actually have all but the Active 540's

Overall, these are great. I like the ability to adjust the bass, which I hadn't actually thought I'd use. Set-up instructions were clear and pretty concise, and the battery life is great. As some others have mentioned, the headphones are on the heavier side. I have a small head, and due to the weight these are a little more liable to slip off if I bend over even slightly, which is a bit annoying. On the plus side, I am finding them more comfortable to wear with my glasses on than I expected. My biggest issue is that Best Buy notes them as noise-cancelling, but they are not. Sound isolating, yes, but they are NOT actively noise cancelling. I probably wouldn't have purchased them if I'd realized. This isn't an issue with the headphones themselves, just the Best Buy listing.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones are superb. We have been a long time fan of another type of headphone in the past, but these have really opened our eyes to the possibilities out there in regards to headphones and sound quality. These feature a great bluetooth wireless feature that allows you to be untethered from your devices. This isn't new, but it works well and was a one time setup and forget feature unlike our past experiences where we have had to reconnect many times throughout the week. Additionally, the bass is low and the sound quality is superb. The rapid charging feature is nice as my 17 year old wears these continuously all day long and always forgets to charge them overnight. They appear comfortable over his ears considering the length of time he has them on. We didn't realize headphones had such great sound quality. The ability to also block out ambient noise is a great feature when your kids and their friends decide to play games upstairs. Good quality and comfortable head phones for a comparable price and we are very happy with these and look forward to future versions to watch how they improve. We did receive these headphones at a discount in return for writing a review; however, we would buy these outright as well if given the need.

I have been enjoying these wireless headphones for some time now. I would highly recommend them too as they are performing very well for a number of reasons. The 2 primary reasons in which I'd recommend these are because of their fit and their sound. Firstly, they fit very well. They are comfortable to the touch and do not rub my head or ears in any odd ways which would be annoying. I have a large head too and there is plenty of wiggle room for those who need it too. The ear coverings are soft and cover your ear well enough to keep in the sound and reduce any from escaping from a bad seal to the ear. They even conveniently collapse and store in the provided canvas storage bag. Secondly, the sound is better than i had expected. I have owned other headphones from this manufacturer before and the sound was good, but nothing overly impressive. These headphones act and deliver a top notch sound which quite frankly blew me away. Assuming you have a nice fit on your head these headphones are a for sure way to experience music in its expected way. All in all due to the comfort level and sound profile that is delivered from these headphones, I would highly recommend these to anyone in need of a quality set of wireless headphones.

If you Love Bass and Clarity!

If you love bass and also love to hear the clarity of the music, then these headphones are for you. I have tried many headphones looking for the right sound. (bass and clarity) (ANC 2, Beats, Sony, `v-moda, and Edifier STAX Spirit S3). These are all good headphones, but if you want bass you can feel, these are it. Compared to ANC 2's are also bass heavy, but in my opinion, the ANC hurts the "clarity" of the music". I returned my ANC 2's for these, (even though they are older) I use these in the gym and I used to have buds, but I needed to have sound I can feel in the gym. PROS The comfort is good, the bass control is really good. I barely have the level past mid range. Battery life is good, charging is great. Ear cushions are good, they are removable if you want to replace them with 3rd party cushions. Bluetooth connectivity is good, I also sometimes use them to watch movies -> Bluetooth out from TV, instead of my sound bar. CONS The bluetooth mic is ok.. Callers say they hear a lot of background noise. They are not water resistant so you might have to wipe down, if you sweat a lot. No hardshell case. The audible voice when paring, etc is ok. APP The app is ok, I barely use it, but I did create a sound profile but I use an eq app. The app doesn't seem like it connects unless you open it (app). Android User / I use an EQ app / HiFi Streaming Service

Review of Skullcandy Crusher Evo Headphones The Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones are a compelling choice for bass lovers, blending powerful audio features with a sturdy design. Here’s a breakdown of their performance and features: Sound Quality The highlight of the Crusher Evo is its haptic bass slider, which allows users to adjust bass intensity. At lower settings, the bass remains clear and balanced, while higher settings deliver a pounding, immersive experience. However, at maximum bass, the sound can become muddy. The mids and highs are surprisingly clear, offering a warm sound signature suitable for various genres. Comfort and Design These over-ear headphones feature a premium build, with memory foam earcups and a leather-padded headband. They are comfortable for extended wear, though they might feel slightly heavy for some. The controls, including volume, playback, and bass adjustment, are intuitive and conveniently placed. Battery and Connectivity With an impressive 40-hour battery life and fast-charging support, these headphones are ideal for long usage. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures stable connectivity, though the lack of multipoint pairing (connecting to multiple devices simultaneously) is a drawback. They are also compatible with the Skullcandy app for EQ customization. Drawbacks While the headphones excel in sound quality, they lack active noise cancellation, making them less suitable for noisy environments. Additionally, the bass-focused tuning may not appeal to audiophiles looking for a neutral sound profile. Conclusion At around $200, the Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones are an excellent option for bass enthusiasts and casual listeners seeking a dynamic listening experience. While they lack noise cancellation and some advanced features, their sound customization and battery life make them a solid choice.

The bluetooth seems to work at a good distance and pairs easily. I haven't had it long enough to speak to the battery length yet. Beyind the bass the rest of the sound is very clear and easy for this hard of hearing guy to understand and enjoy! I bought these mostly for the gym but I absolutely fell in love with them. Theyre comfortable and stay on with pretty vigorous movement. The sound quality is really amazing and I love the adjustable bass level. I decided to use these temporarily as gaming headphones. I love that I can plug them in without turning them on and they work, however they aound better turned on. The battery life has blown me away! Ive used them for several days of gaming both turned on and off, and with my phone and they are still full on battery.

These headphones do what they say, crush it with the BASS. I've had both models of these headphones prior, and this one is an improvement over the last one. The base is really good and sound is nice as well. These were a little more pricier than the model prior (crusher wireless) but a def. improvement. The bass can be adjusted if you just want a little bit or even no bass at all. Fits the preference for the user, but if you like bass, this is a must. 1. Comes with wire so you can still use it classicly with a headphone jack and plug it in. 2. The bluetooth allows you to connect it to devices for use outside just your phone. I have it connected to my TV so I can use for gaming and movie watching, especially late night, and talk about a movie experience on your couch with sound. It has a mic so it can be used to answer calls and when headphone jack is connected to a PS4/Xbox remote, it does the job as a mic headset to talk and play. 3. Battery life is good as I have been able to use it for 1-3hrs at a time for a couple days a week before needing to charge on 2nd week due to half full. If your not big on BASS for music listening and want to use it for gaming and movies connecting to a TV, or even phone/tablet, then don't spend the money for these. You can get the same sound without the bass for a lower model or different brand.

[Employee of bestbuy] I bought 3 pairs. I gave a pair to my dad, one of my friends, and I of course had a pair. The audio quality I would give a 8/10. BASS potential: 12/10 Headband: 2/10 The bass was my favorite part of them. I returned mine to get the anc 2 version to see if would be more comfortable. While the headband is significantly more comfortable on the anc 2, the bass was severely diminished. I maxed out eq and crusher mode and cut off the anc on them, yet the bass was still bad. My only complaint about the crusher evo is that the headband physically hurts on the top of the head if you dont have a lot of hair. These are probably the heaviest headphones on the market, but I honestly didnt mind that. The bass made these 100% worth a buy. I will more than likely buy another pair in the future as soon as I find someone to give my anc 2 to. These crusher evo's are the definition of gym headphones in my eyes. The heavy head rattling bass combined with the annoying headpain honestly just put me in a mood to want to lift something heavy and destroy some weights in the gym. If you are a gymrat and want something to get you in the mindset, I HIGHLY reccomend these for that purpose. Any other use case outside of gym aggression, I would never use them. Now if you are a non-gym rat and want some great audio and comfortable headphones I reccommend the bose ultra quietcomforts. I have both, and those are purely for working at home or listening to music for enjoyment. I would never wear my bose to the gym. Both skullcandy and bose headphones have entirely different use cases for them.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones are a game-changer for anyone who loves immersive sound experiences. The standout feature is the adjustable sensory bass, which allows you to feel the music in a way that's tailored to your preferences. Whether you're listening to bass-heavy tracks or more subtle melodies, the Crusher Evo delivers crystal clear audio with a powerful punch. The battery life is impressive, offering up to 40 hours of playback on a single charge, making them perfect for long listening sessions or travel. Had never heard of skullcandy before doing research on bass boosted headphones, and these are THE BEST. The sound quality does slightly blur when bass is put up all the way but the sound is LOUD. Perfect for those that want to blur outside sounds. And considering how loud they are, the sound is muffled almost entirely when put over your ears so others can’t hear it. If you love loud music, these are perfect. And they last nearly 50 hours of battery life. Had them over a year now and the quality of the battery and sound has remained constant. Absolutely love them!!!
