All about that bass
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re big into bass, look no further. You can FEEL the face shaking bass on these unlike any other headphones you’ve ever tried, a whole new experience guaranteed. I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied with bass from headphones again after these if I can’t find another pair. Too much bass? You can adjust the bass with a slider on the one side of the headphones. The mids and highs are also perfectly on point. You absolutely can NOT go wrong with these headphones. Kids thought Beats were cool until I showed my daughter my pair of these and then she wanted a pair and showed her friends. Beats don’t even compare. Thank me later.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are perfect for my son. He says that they have great bass and very comfy. They are also quite durable. My son works out and has dropped them a few times and they still work really good.

Crusher Evo….. Crushin’ Bass!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently own 4 pairs of Crusher Evos. 2 black, 1 grey and this beautiful purple set. If you love heavy skull shaking bass, then these Headphones are for you. When I want to listen to hip hop or R & B I just put my crushers on and turn up the bass. The bass literally rattles your head. Definitely not for folks who want a more well balanced sound. However, if you leave the headphones off and plug in the audio cable, they surprisingly sound good. The crusher bass doesn’t work when the headphones are powered off. The sound is more basic and fairly balanced. Classic rock and Oldies sound pretty good on these headphones when playing through the audio cable. I feel they’re a good buy for the money. Even more so when they’re on sale.

BOOM!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't realize so much bass should come from a pair of headphones, and it's a perfect sound mix. My experience is that if I want this much bass from other headphones the bass is overwhelming. Completely ruining the experience. These things are awesome! There is a bit of an app pairing issue with my iPhone and with my Samsung tv, but other than that I'd highly recommend!

Feel the bass!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't know why, but I own more headphones and earbuds than a normal person should. I've purchased high end 5.1 home theater surround sound headphones to those really cheap ones at the dollar store because how bad could they really be for a buck? FYI, they really suck. The one thing lacking with all my headsets is that they lack the punch of bass that you feel with regular speaker/subwoofer setups. Unfortunately, a home with thin walls and whiny neighbors doesn't allow for that option so I've bought Sony Mega Bass headphones and Bose noise cancelling ones over the years. They were okay, but I still couldn't feel the bass like I wanted. Plus they both had the problems of the earpads flaking off leaving black pieces of material stuck to my ears. My Bose just died on me so I was looking to replace it with either the Bose or Sony speakers that you wear around the neck. But because of COVID there wasn't any place you could try them out. That's when I read a couple of reviews for the Skullcandy Crusher Evo and it seemed like it was exactly what I was looking for. After several weeks of using these headphones I must say I am happy with this purchase. Having your skull vibrate as you listen to explosions in a blockbuster movie can be so gratifying. I use it via bluetooth with my phone and tablet, and a wired connection with my TV. It sounds great either way. If there is one complaint that I have, it's that my ears hurt after wearing it too long. I use this as a sign to take a break and rest my ears since listening to all that boom probably isn't healthy for my hearing. I've read in some reviews that all the bass muddies up the quality of sound and to a certain point it's true. But you can adjust the rumble of the bass manually on the headphone, plus you can use the EQ on your music player to get a more balanced sound. Personally, I like the bass cranked up.

Love these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE the fact that I can control how much base I want. Even though they aren’t 100% noise cancelling, if I have then volume at around half and a tiny bit of base it works as noise canceling.

An exceptional set of headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! I own other Skullcandy headphones, including a previous version of the Crusher series and these are by far the best version to date. Skullcandy seems to have their own thing going as far as electronics styling is concerned. They have their own unique styling and aren’t too forward with their logo, which is a welcome sight. When wearing these, I feel great not having a massive logo on each of my ears. These headphones look the part, and definitely sound the part, which is ultimately the single most important part in choosing an audio product. Let's cut to the chase… SOUND QUALITY & AUDIODO The new Crusher EVO series have teamed up with Audiodo and Tile (more on Tile later), to bring a truly feature packed great set of headphones to market. With the free Skullcandy app, you can actually take a hearing test with test tones guided by the app, to customize your listening experience and tailor it to your (custom) ears. Let’s face it, not everyone's ears are even remotely the same, therefore this feature is an awesome addition to the package. The first thing I did after charging the headphones when unboxed, was to download the app and take the sound test. The test only took a minute or two and once complete, the app even showed me my personal graph on how each of my ears comprehended the test tones separately (see photo). Pretty cool feature! Once that was all complete, I opened my music streaming app and started testing different types of music. Everything from full blown metal, to pop, hiphop, and even classical, sounded really, really good. The bass level slider on the left headphone is placed right under the power button and is easy to operate to add minimal, all the way to head thumping bass. An excellent feature considering you may not want hiphop level bass when listening to other genres of music. That said, if you want to go crazy and thump thump, the power to do so is at your fingertip at all times. Other than the customization with Audiodo and the bass slider, the fidelity of the headphones is very nice. Having owned many of the competing brand (over ear) headphones, I can say without a doubt that the Crusher Evo is on par with the best consumer headphones you can get at the time of this review. STYLING & COMFORT As stated before, the styling (to me) is perfect. They aren’t too big, or small, but just right. There isn’t a massive billboard logo on each side. They fold down flat on your chest when not in use making them more comfortable to have on for extended periods of time. The ear cushions are super soft and comfortable and don’t cause any fatigue. The weight is also perfect for me and I do not feel any crown fatigue when wearing them for a long time. THE OTHER STUFF With Tile built in, you will always know where your headphones are. I didn’t have a Tile account until these, so I signed up quickly for one online and tested the feature to see how it performed. Once paired with my headphones, the Tile app found my headphones easily. There is a pulsing radar type graphic that gets stronger as you get closer to them (see photo). The headphones also make a whistling sound as you get closer even while they are turned off! To charge the headphones, you use the included USB-C cable. Much better (IMO) than a micro USB cable. Battery life seems excellent so far. I have only charged them once when unboxed and have been listening all week. They also provide a travel bag and a standard gold plated audio cable in case you want to plug them into an audio source. All in all, I can’t say enough good things about this Crusher Evo series and I highly recommend you check them out. PROS: Awesome sound quality with customizable bass level Audiodo custom personal profiling for even more fine tuned sound Excellent styling and very comfortable Tile built in USB-C charging Headphones rotate to lay flat on your chest I like how the power button is orange so it can be identified easily CONS: I would like to see a molded hard shell case included from manufacturers in the future for all premium headphone sets

Bass!!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like a lot a bass like myself this are amazing. At first I tried the beats pros and since it had no bass I returned for these. Has bass. Don’t have the need to turn the volume up all the way. Can hear background noise if you have music low volume. Battery lasts forever. I go in pretty long runs and workout 1-2 hours and they never died on me. I will be back to buy another pair when needed.

EDM fans these are our headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top tier! People think Skullcandy is cheap but despite their build quality the audio is actually solid! These have sensory bass which provide a nice rumble when there’s bass in both movies and music. I absolutely love the sense of immersion especially as someone who listens to bass heavy music. EDM fans will LOVE these!!! Take the rave with you by turning the bass all the way up on these. Multi point connections make it seamless to go from PC gaming to mobile phone music, to my Tv in the bedroom, without having to do anything but play audio from the desired source. The battery is unusually long lasting! Even at full bass which is the only way I use them. These are worth the money, but recommend buying online for the best price!
