This is definitely a niche model in skullcandy’s line up of products, aimed at a specific crowd for specific genres of music. It was mostly curiosity that had me buy this product, and I gotta say, Skullcandy is getting better at their game... It’s almost comedic how bass heavy these headphones are. They’re definitely an improvement from the previous generation’s versions, in terms of how controlled the depth of the bass is. Like, even at softer overall volumes, the bass still stands out... and of course, the louder they go, the more rattle they give your head. They truly are a club experience, or a “standing in front of the speakers at a rock concert” experience. And mind you, not radio rock, but the extreme stuff. I honestly don’t know how long these headphones can last, in terms of build quality vs the constant impact that the bass has on the overall sound, but I bought the GSP just in vase they crap out on me. In my experience with this brand, and I’ve purchased quite a few of their models since they came out on the scene... it’s been a love/hate relationship with hit and miss build and sound quality. You’re getting there, Skullcandy... and these are definitely a step up from when the crushers first came out. Thanks for reading.

Audiophiles will love this headset. By default I'm a huge and loyal fan of Skullcandy products. Their Ink'd buds have been my one and only choice for drowning out dumb and irritable noises/music while in public, especially at my third shift job. Wanting something different for change, I opted to buy these which I thought were noise cancelling as well but found out they're not. No big deal because these are reserved for my home cave where it's mostly quiet anyway. So far I'm okay with the controls. It took me awhile with another device so in time I'll master this one. The ear cups are so plushy and just right for me. The head band does ache my head after some time of wearing but this is with ANY headset on the market. While off and wired in with the 3.5mm cable it can deliver almost the same results as the buds in sound delivery. Super. Turned on and synched (via Bluetooth) to a MP3 player? Oh, ho, ho... be sure that bass adjuster is down all the way before hitting play. Depending on the song itself, the low notes really hit. I can enjoy a deep bassline when the mood strikes but can only keep the slider at a pinch-high level or else it's like having my head in a car trunk with 2000-watt subwoofers performing at peak. Even before the halfway mark the headset is physically vibrating like crazy. I'm a rock, metal, oldies kind of guy but will slip into my techno, house, and R&B list once in a while which have some serious low notes in them and are a great choice to demonstrate this headset's capabilities. Because I like to take care of my things and want these to last as long as possible, that slider will never go above a quarter way. Skullcandy outdid themselves with this one. I'm more than certain this is the same set a coworker of mine uses. Some nights she's constantly talking to someone for 8 hours using the phone connect feature. Get this for someone who would enjoy some crisp highs, mids, lows... and low-lows... while also potentially getting a head massage.

Made this purchase for a recent trip to Vegas which is quite a flight from the East Coast. Very comfortable wear so far. Companion app is pretty good. Also comes with 3.5 audio cable to use for meetings. Ps5 also works with headset nicely.

FIRST THING I NOTICE WAS THESE ARE PUT TOGETHER QUITE WELL. THEY PAIR VERY EASILY OUT OF THE BOX. ONCE PAIRED, ANY TIME YOU POWER THEM ON THEY INSTANTLY SYNC TO YOUR PHONE. I LOVE BASS. YOU CAN EASILY ADJUST THAT ON THE MANUAL SLIDER. ALTHOUGH, YOU ONLY NEED TO MOVE IT UP SLIGHTLY. SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT. MY ONLY SLIGHT KNOCK ON THEM IS THAT I GUESS THEY COULD BE LOUDER. JUST A PREFERENCE BUT THEY WOULD BE PLENTY LOUD FOR MOST. NOT SURE IF THEY'RE ADVERTISED AS NOISE CANCELING, BUT THEY'RE DEFINITELY NOT. OVERALL, BIG FAN OF THESE

I’ve always used and still do use the Sony XM3 and now 4 Bluetooth headphones and those are amazing and top notch but this time I wanted to try a different approach with Bluetooth headsets. Something with more emphasis on the Bass. I was recommended by my friend and family members to try my very first pair of Skullcandy headphones. These are absolutely fantastic Bass heavy headphones and the quality is also something to behold at this price range. I enjoy the deep and heavy bass these headphones put out. I only have to adjust the bass slider not even a millimeter and the rich bass just pours in. The personal sound test in the app was very useful for me to achieve the right sound that pertains to my hearing. I’m a type that enjoys deep heavy lows and also higher than usual highs and thanks to that test on the app, these headphones put out fantastic sound that I can enjoy! These headphones can be a daily user but can be a bit big on the head. I’ve used these a few times on trip to work and luckily it been cold enough to wear my hood up so they don’t look like I have a helmet on. I would recommend these just as they were recommended to me.

Best device for work and working out . Bass is amazing.

I love these headphones!! They don't have noice cancellation but the sound is so good, you really don't need it! I use them very frequently and the battery life is up to 12 hours I feel like!

Probably the best and only headphones I’ll use. I use them for work and the gym, and the sound quality with adjustable bass is amazing! I had a pair before this but a piece of asphalt fell on them and smashed them… and guess what, they still worked, just an insane amount of duct tape on them lol

These are awesome!!! The sound is clear and I would suggest these as money well spent.
