All about that bass in a fun unique way

As a general, all-purpose, for every situation headphone, these are not my go-to headphones, but for music that celebrates bass or action movies, they are a really fun and a unique experience. Because these aren’t my default go-to headphones, I initially had rated these at 4/5 stars. However, the sensory bass feature is really so unique and fun that it almost can’t be compared to other headphones. In my mind, it both creates a new category of headphones and rises to the top of it, so for that reason these headphones get 5 stars from me. THE GREAT The unique thing about these headphones is the Adjustable Sensory Bass technology. What that effectively means is that you can feel the music, just like the deep shaking you can feel with a sub-woofer, but not in a way that is just "louder". It genuinely adds a different experience that I haven't found anywhere else, and watching any movie with deep bass, particularly action movies, really take on a new and more enjoyable experience. — The slider on the headphones to adjust the sensory bass is such a clever implementation, and I find myself changing it between songs to really bring out the beauty the artist intended for a much larger subwoofer enhanced system. So many headphones allow EQ settings to be adjusted within an app, but for such a crucial feature, the implementation of a slider on the headphones was pure perfection. I would definitely take off a star or two had this not been physically adjustable because it feels necessary and really completes the product. To recap — Adjustable Sensory Bass is freaking awesome and really THE reason to pick these headphones over others. THE GOOD Sound quality —Over all good to great, and I don’t really have complaints here. It’s really the sensory bass that makes these worth getting over other headphones, and other brands in this quality range definitely match the sound quality apart from that. Design — The headphones themselves are comfortable. They fold to become more compact, but since I haven’t really traveled with them, they generally just stay opened sitting on my desk or hanging from a headphone stand. THE DISAPPOINTING Noise Cancellation — These headphones don’t have noise cancellation so while they’re great for louder music and really add a new dimension to the bass aspect of music and movies, they fail a bit in a loud environment when playing quieter music due to lack of noise cancellation which can be found on similar headphones. Microphone / Phone Calls — I’m not sure why, but I found that while using these headphones and received an incoming call, the audio did not switch to my headset as it normally does with my wireless headphones. I haven’t spent too much time troubleshooting this feature as it wasn’t a deal breaker, but it didn’t “just work” easily for me. OVERALL If you can live without noise cancellation, and are interested in the adjustable sensory bass feature that really brings music to life, I would definitely recommend these headphones. I still find myself reaching for in-ear buds most of the time for the sake of convenience and use of microphone while on a call or in a meeting, but the Crusher Evo still get picked up a few times a week. If you’re looking for a generic pair of headphones to use in a noisy environment, I’d go with a pair that supports noise cancellation over these. However, as mentioned several times, the sensory bass is truly a game changing experience and for that reason I would happily recommend giving these a try. These are the first headphones I’ve tried that have really been an experience. If you want to experience music in a new way, pick these up and see for yourself.

If you like base, this is the headset for you! I can’t tell you how many different pairs of headphones that I found from Sony to beats. I’ve used them all. I like heavy deep base and the motor inside the headphones along with the robust sound makes me feel right at home. You definitely won’t be disappointed one of the best headphones that you can buy at the price point is a little heavy on your head, but for the sound I would definitely recommend.

this beats out every other headphones I've owned in my life. I also barely use my arctis pro wireless gaming headset since I purchased these! and I bought it a few years ago prior to purchasing this.....it makes music, movies, video games...i mean just sound in general more robust. sure the sensory base slider might be their gimmick, but you can hear and feel the difference. even with the base turned all the way down, the sound quality out of these things is still great. with the base fully blasted, you literally feel like you are at a club or a venue. its like having the sound system from my car but in the form of a headphone. i have yet to hear any cracking or distortion of any sort with having the base turned on. you do get some sort of ear fatigue after long periods of time even with the soft padding of the earcups. it may not have an EQ as some other models, but with its own app you personalize your own hearing as well as preset settings for music and movies. battery life is pretty good as per advertised(40 hours). charges pretty quickly too depending on battery life. enough of the specs as you can read it in their description. just buy these already!

The Skullcandy Skull Crusher Evo headphones provide a bass-heavy audio experience that caters to music enthusiasts who crave deep, resonant lows. The design is bold and modern, capturing attention with its distinctive aesthetics. The adjustable haptic bass response adds an extra layer to the audio immersion, letting you feel the music. Comfort-wise, the headphones feature plush ear cushions, ensuring prolonged usage without discomfort. While the build quality is robust, some may find the design a bit bulky. Overall, the Skull Crusher Evo headphones deliver a unique and bass-centric audio experience with a striking design, making them a solid choice for bass enthusiasts.

The adjustable bass is an amazing feature, as you can balance songs based on your liking, and its really comfortable on your ears, even with my industrial and double helix in my ears. Not to mention, battery lasts a really long time

I really love this item; these are powerful! I love that we can create our own sound experience with the app and that we can choose how deep we want to hear the bass. The cushions are soft and they’re not really heavy. The battery lasts a lot and the sound quality is crisp. Worth it.

Returned the BEATS buds and got these instead...half the price, ten times the quality!! Good at reducing outside noise, and AWESOME, head quaking bass, which can be turned up or down with a slide switch. Best headphones for the price imho. Battery lasts days for a single charge too. And easy to connect.

I love these headphones. The bass control on the headphones themselves is a MAJOR plus & when turned all the way up, my glasses literally shake! I have them on majority of my 8 hour work day & by 4:00 they’re still at 100%. Honestly after a week I haven’t had to charge them yet! I looked at big expensive brands with prices reaching over $300 but their sound quality doesn’t come close to these. I doubt I’ll ever use anything else but SkullCandy from now on.

Needed a new pair of headphones in general. I wanted them to be used for music when I’m relaxing or when I’m working out. Love the bass on these headphones, my favorite thing about them. When I’m up in the clouds these headphones are tagging along and keeping up with its amazing sound output. I use them wired on my MacBook since the Bluetooth connection to them sounds off, not a big deal. Still sounds great. While working out they do stay on for the most part, up until I’m laying on a yoga mat, then sometimes it can slip. I don’t think these were made specifically for working out so i won’t hold it against the headphones. The Bluetooth connection is great and the bass is still heavy. They’re very comfortable and I can wear them for hours on end, even with glasses on. Very beautiful grey color and I’m hoping these last. If something happens to these, I know I’m going to get skullcandy again.

I have airpod pros, and beats headphones. These skullcandies beat them in quality anyday, especially if you listen to music with alot of bass. Quality of sound(singing) does lower and harder to hear when you raise the bass up. I use them to workout and they dont fall off when running, they do slide off when laying down, so keep in mind!

$400-500 headphones such as any of the Bose's Apple's max will not give you the BASS youre looking for period ,Skullycandy's vision is Delivering High Quality products @ Affordable Prices But think This one is OverPriced even with the Sale price they have been some hardware cosmetic improvements compared to its previous non-evo model which was $60 cheaper then this model Delivers the Same exact Identical Bass and Sound same adjusting sliders Wires inserted through the hinges it has a Plastic Plates which has to do with the Bass the previous model had Metal Plates the good thing about this one its sits on your head comfortably without any tightness what so ever perfect light fit feel other then that The Sound Quality is exactly the same, i really wanted to this keep one but i'm going to return and stick with the previous model which i have its not worth upgrade from the previous version The price tag doe'snt justify it

First off, these present really well. They feel great, they look great, and are super comfortable. Everything about the babies is about delivering an enhanced reality audio experience. Straight away though, let me just say what they 'are not'. If you want headphones to: take calls with, hear ambient sounds through (converse with others), or recreate a 'live' soundstage then look elsewhere. If you're looking for ultra hi fidelity to reproduce technically accurate sound, than these are not for you. If however, you want to experience your movies, music, and gaming sonics in a whole new way; you have found what you're looking for. These headphones don't even compare to others. They are in a league of their own, tailoring normal audio to astounding levels of dynamic range. And using haptic technology, you experience bass that is beyond real. The bass that these things produce is unlike anything else. Are these the best all around headphones on the market, no. But if you want excitement in a box, this is it.

if you like your bass, these babies are for you. They have a vibration feature that really adds to the bass and it's not overkill. Just makes them more fun to listen to. Overall, they are a great sounding pair of headphones, battery life is great, and you can adjust the level of bass you want with a little 'slider' on the outside of the headphones. Again, sound quality gets zero complaints from me, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to that. Love them so far and would highly recommend them.

There's not a ton to say about these headphones. They do exactly what they say on the box. Turn up the bass slider all the way on a bass heavy song, and enjoy hearing loss by age 30. You feel the insides of your ears tingling on the highest bass setting. If you can get them while they are on sale, and you are a bass head, I wouldn't even think twice about picking up a pair of these! Pros: -Great battery life, haven't had to charge them in 2 weeks -Comfortable leather trim -USB Type C charging -Comes with a 3.5mm cable and USB-C cable (looking at you, Apple) -Very nice carrying pouch -Very good bass response, they literally shake on your head. -Physical touch controls! Much better than the glitchy touch controls on my Galaxy Buds. Cons: -Are somewhat heavy and fall off your head easily -Pretty sure I won't be able to hear much in a few years
