Ok, so not a DJ, purist or anything like that, just a music aficiando who likes to be able to boost the bass when the music requires it. For my purposes, these headphones are perfect. I understand some of what other users complain about, but I haven't had any issues with them, so I say try them for yourself and see!

These work really well they have some nice bass and clear sound to them.

I bought two sets for my daughters. They love them. I was looking at the Beats but I decided on the Skullcandy because I was informed that Beats no longer had a warranty with them. Not a good choice for kids. But my girls love them. They use them for music, my oldest will plug into her phone and talk with them.

The first set we had we brought back because the bass boost didn't work. When we opened the 2nd pair, there was a battery in the box and instructions in the baggie on how to install said battery. So, in all fairness, the first pair could have worked just fine, but we did not know there was supposed to be a battery installed. The new pair, however, did have the bass boost rumble feature since we installed the battery, but after a week, that started working intermittently. The pamphlet stated that the battery will only last 40 hours, which is a typical work week if you are buying these to wear at work, so who wants to replace a battery every week? Also, if it only works sometimes, what is the point? Even without the battery being dead, the boost/rumble would work sometimes and sometimes not. it would come on in the middle of a song, or go out in the middle of a song. Definitely not worth the hassle, which is a shame, because if the feature worked all of the time, these would have been amazing headphones.

The sound on this headset is much better than I would expect at this price point. In terms of bang for your buck it doesn't get any better. I purchased these for my wife and she was thrilled with them. They were so popular my sister went out and bought a set for herself after listening to them.

I just went in to buy some headphones for my flight to Germany becuase my wife took my other skull headset. But now I have an awesome bass headset. The quality is so good and my brain shakes with the bass. I'm glad there is a control for base when I don't feel like getting my head rattled.

I purchased these in order to try them out. I was impressed with the bass and sound quality. These were compared to Beats Studio headphones and I gave them both a 1 hour test run. I ended up selling the Beats the same day. These headphones sound great and the battery life is long for the bass. I will never buy anything with a Beats logo on it. Solid work by Skullcandy! *I also received a $10 gift card when I purchased them! Winner in my book!*

The quality and bass is fantastic. I've had no issues so far!

I like the headphone so far. The only down side is the cord is just in regular length, similar to that of any head phone from iPhone or Samsung. I bought an extension audio cable, so I can sit further in front of the computer to water streaming movies. I have no complaint of the sound quality. It is loud with surround sound feeling.
