I also had to purchase a newer tv to pair these up to.All in all,they are very easy to use,(but my husband has a bad habit of pressing too many buttons),and I often times will have to come & remind him how simple they are to use.Simply turn them on,*they also say power on*,and wait a few seconds for the on screen display to tell him to connect the unit to tv.Thats all.They also have adjustable bass settings.
