Extra Bass feature sounds awful, 50-60hz only

It sounds absolutely awful. Basically they hung the speakers from 55hz resonant springs that the batteries oscillate extra. This is not bass, this is just garbage, and the fact this product is so highly rated proves consumers have no idea what they hear, as long as it sounds loud they are happy. The sound ok turning it off, although the build quality is fantastic.
