Went in to purchase a new pair of headphones for the gym. Went in looking at these and the beats...So I tried on this pair first to test them out for comfort and sound..5/5 for both. The sound quality is awesome. The Blu Tooth range is good also even though I have not tested the full range yet. I turn on my iPhone, turn on my headphones, put phone in bag and walk away. No cracking or skipping noise. I recommend these headphones to anyone looking to purchase Beats first. You wont be disappointed. Im not knocking Beats at all. I still like them but If you like bass and clear sound from a headphone set look no further. Thanks Skullcandy for making these..btw got them on sale for 99.00 bucks. Great job..

One of the over ear cushions broke off and product is now unusable. Did not purchase an extended warranty, so out of luck. Not great quality for the money. Would not recommend without extended warranty.

The reason why I gave one star it is because there was sound on my left side and some sound on my right side. The slider for the subwoofer is always a pain! I have tried to use the controls button it doesn't skip the songs very well.

    Unbelievable

Unbelievable headphone, I have owned beats studio 2, Jbl E50bt, and sony mbr950xbbt. I also have experience with the bose qc35 and beats studio wireless. These things are absolutely amazing and are by far my favorite headphone, especially if you love bass. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better headphone for bass! Even if you not a basshead these are still great headphones. Build quality is good, they fold, and are very comfortable. Good noise isolation as well.

    Best Extra Bass Wireless Headphones

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I'll keep it simple for everyone reading this and looking for a real review. These are the best bass headphones I've ever heard. The Bluetooth is smooth with no cracking or break ups. If you are into the bass you hear in clubs and subwoofers then these will be perfect for you. I own the Crusher wired, Beats Studio Wireless, and Sony EXTRA Bass headphones...these beat them all overall and they aren't as expensive as other brands. I'll rank them: 1. Crusher Wireless...look good and sound even better. Price is a value compared to other brands. 2. Sony Extra Bass wireless...sound great but look ugly. Cheaper than Beats. 3. Beats Studio wireless...sound pretty good and look the best. These have the least bass but get the loudest overall. Also the most expensive by a mile. 4. Crusher wired...great bass and good sound but ugly and have a wire. Only $99 and the cheapest extra bass headphones out if you want that club sound at a low price. Warning...needs AA battery. To keep this review legit I gotta mention I have NOT tested the range on these. Lastly...I can NOT vouch for build quality. I am very careful with my gadgets and have never broken any headphones and always keep them in the case when not using them.

Price, sound, fit- hard to beat

I was debating between these, the Beats Solo 3 and the Beats Studio Wireless. First these were less expensive (often go on sale and Best Buy price matches- don't pay full MSRP for the Skullcandy) by over $50 even when the Beats Studio was on a killer sale. The price helped seal deal but the quality of the product and sound of the Crushers are what got me interested in them. The best I can describe these is a mix of the Solo and Studios. These have noise isolation (not cancelling) and will cup your entire ear, not sit on them like the Solos. The Skullcandys are low profile and just a little bigger than the Solos. The sounds on the Crushers are awesome. I was worried the bass would sound fake, it does not. The bass is completely adjustable and even if you are not into bass you can tone it down without compromising the rest of the sound. The equalizer on the iPhone helps pick the right sound you are looking for and then you can crank up the bass. I have not taken a call on them. They are easy to pair and easy to get fired up once paired. No issues with bluetooth connection. The only issue I see with them is they are not as light/low profile as the Solos. I am an active person and while the Skullcandys are pretty low profile I don't think they will work in most active situations. The Crushers will probably do okay lifting weights but no way will they work for cardio. The Solos are a little better at this than the Crushers, but that was never a question because the Solos go on your ear and the Crushers go over- just naturally bigger. The sound is where it is at with these, I doubt there is anything better around the $150-$250 price range and these are on the lower end of the scale. All in all a great value.
