The Skullcandy - Grind True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are the best in-ear headphones I have tried so far. There comfort and fit are awesome. I use the headphones for working in the yard and in my workshop. While they do have noise cancellation, it does not completely drown out the air compressor. The Skullcandy app has greater control over the headphones. The application also allows for tracking with the tile feature. The IP55 sweat and water resistance is also big plus. The carrying case is not very sturdy. You get about eight hours from the headphones before you need to put the in the carry case for a quick recharge. You can get up to 40 hours of play back before you need to recharge the carry case. Connecting to your device via bluetooth is easy and I had no problems. There was an issue trying to connect to a different device with out shutting down and restarting. I did not have any problems using the voice controls. All in all i would reccomend the Skullcandy Grind True headphones.

    Bass-heavy sound

This is an okay set of earbuds, especially for travel when I'm not eager to take a higher end set that could be potentially damaged or lost. Pros: Voice controlled features- great for hands-off situations like cooking or working out. Water resistant- I don't have to worry about getting sweaty during a workout or getting caught in a light rain shower while I'm out and about. The SkullCandy app lets me customize my listening experience- but only to a point. I was never able to get the sound to my exact preferences. Battery life out of the case is good for the price point. I got about 5 hours of use at a medium volume before they needed to be charged. Cons: Plasticky casing- The casing doesnt feel particulay sturdy. It feels like a few accidental drips would probably kill the casing. Unbalanced sound- If you like bass-heavy buds, these may be for you. If you enjoy a balanced sound where you can actually hear different instruments, these struggle in that area. Even with the EQ adjustments in the app, the bass overwhelms everything else. No ANC- I tried wearing these on the plane, and quite a bit of noise leaked through. Overall- these aren't bad, but they definitely arent high end buds. I'll probably keep them in my personal item for flights so I have an inexpensive pair, but they won't be for daily use.

Skullcandy voice control wireless earbuds, quick & easy Bluetooth connect, once connected via Bluetooth to your phone scan the QR code provided on the pamphlet in the box & you can set up & control all the smart features & there’s also additional information & help instructions. You can take pictures with your ear buds they act as wireless control for your phone just connect your buds set up your phone where you want & use bud as a snap button super easy. Of course like with all earbuds it takes some getting use to the button control but awesome feature besides button/tap control you can use the Skullcandy app to control or their voice control technology you do have to repeat what you want it to do 2 times & I felt you had to say it a bit loud but that does work pretty good it doesn’t alway pick up all commands & in public I felt like a dork saying “Hey Skullcandy…answer or volume up, skip etc” at home workout was great. It does connect & control your Spotify. Noise canceling was great! I feel like these are the 1st buds I was actually able to notice the difference in having noise canceling on & off. I like using it when I’m busy around the house & my boyfriend is practicing guitar sometimes want to listen to an audio book while cleaning & cancel him out haha. It come with 2 extra sets of ear piece rubber tips so you have 3 sizes to choose from. & also provided is the charging cord which is only maybe 2-3 inches long wish it was longer. It also has a limited equalizer control, it comes with built in tile in case you dropped or missed placed your buds it can beep them or one I find tile very handy if you need to locate them. Another cool feature if some else is with you & also has Skullcandy IQ based you can share your audio with them or join. Instead of old school way sharing one bud each haha. I overall am really enjoying this buds & they actually fit & don’t fall out when working out when I get sweaty. The sound has been great I have buds that cost a lot more & don’t have the quality, sound technology features.

The Skullcandy - Grind True Wireless In-Ear – Black is a great sounding pair of earbuds. After charging them from red to blue for a full charge, they immediately showed up on my phone screen and began to pair. Once paired, I installed the Skullcandy app to expand the features of the Skullcandy - Grind True Wireless In-Ear – Black. The voice control is the best feature allowing hands free control. I can control play, pause, next, previous, volume up, and volume down, accept call, reject call, and assistant. Once connected, I tried all of the functionality of the command sequences. All of the command sequences in the instructions work as stated, I just need to be extra careful to press slowly. The sound is excellent with total clarity of vocals and instruments with a nice amount of bass. They fit snug in my ear and I have multiple cushions to change the fit. Calls come in clear and shut off other audio functions. Pressing the earbuds one or two times on either the right or left sides controls all the functionality manually. The Skullcandy - Grind True Wireless In-Ear – Black is a great pair of earbuds to have in my ears.

A very reasonable set of earbuds, basic design and good sound quality, The case and earbud appear to be decent quality, not the greatest but still very decent. The bluetooth pairing was pretty simple and the signal strength was good. I was able to walk away from the audio source for about 12ft before i noticed slight static due to the range. The sound quality was good and i did enjoy the sound reproduction. They stay secure in my ears when running and the gel tips allow for very little sound leakage or ambient noise getting thru to the listener. My only issue(s) arose from the comfort and material used for the gel tips. Over extended use the earbuds began to hurt my ears, the plastic body began to dig into my ear causing pain after about 90minutes. The other issue was it appears these ear gel tips cause a sever irritation in my ear canal. It gets so bad my ear canal gets raw and the skin breaks causing leaking/slight bleeding. It has only happened with certain ear gel silicon tips and it appears these fall in that category. I don't suffer this issue but if you have experienced it before i would pass on these. I can't really lower the rating on them because it may be the case that i uniquely suffer from a specific allergy and the earbuds will perform great for others.

    So happy with these earbuds

I’ve had many a earbud in my day, but these are amazing. Seriously. I was considering Bose and Wireless Beats and I am so happy I bought these because for the price, again, amazing. And ya gotta love skull candy’s craftsmanship -they’re elegant yet durable. I played basketball pretty hard for hours in them. They didn’t move. No discomfort. The sound quality is wonderful especially with noise canceling. I also have to say it almost doesn’t feel like there is anything in my ears. I can hardly tell the earbuds are in they’re so comfy. The app is cool and having complete voice control. But I’m so happy with them and the fact that I could have spent 120$ more on Bose or Dre Beats and didn’t that I absolutely had to review these and I usually don’t do this. But these are sick I gotta give Skullcandy the compliment they deserve

The Skullcandy - Grind True Wireless In-Ear Headphones (earbuds) have me a bit conflicted. They have some unique features including being able to map a button to a function such as acting as a remote iOS photo app shutter button. In addition, the buds can be paired with the Tile app, so if you misplace the earbuds you can find them, again a useful feature. However even though the Skullcandy mobile app that has some good functionality and features, that does not make up for some basic deficiencies in these ear buds, First off they are oddly shaped in my opinion and not the most comfortable in my ears, they just seem a bit awkward. The setup process was simple, and they paired via Bluetooth to my iPhone 12 without an issue. The buds sit in a carrying case/charging station, that adds about 20 hours of charging capacity, the earbuds themselves are rated to have 9 hours of life, although I did not get more than seven hours. The USB-C connection on the case a fundamentally a better connection than older USB interfaces and is pretty much standard now. The case also is a bit magnetic, so the ear buds are pulled in for charging and remain secure. However, they are a bit finicky to place in the changing case. As for how they sound, competent is the best way to describe them. The sound reproduction is a bit on the soft side, no range stands out, even with the different settings available in the Skullcandy app. The buds also have a passthrough mode so you can hear ambient sound without removing them from your ears. As with most earbuds they come with other size interchangeable buds, the default installed medium buds seemed to be most comfortable in my ear. I will say that the control buttons require some force to press, so they feel like they are getting pushed into your ear canal a bit when pressing them. Overall, I think these are decent, but nothing performance or feature wise stands out. I also had a bit of an issue with them not disconnecting when placing them back in the charging case, until I figured out that they were not charging (or powering down) due to the white protective plastic covers which protect the charging contacts, just make sure you remove them. I had to go back and read the small setup guide to figure out they should be removed. Skullycandy might want to make this a bit more obvious in the setup guide and use a square or shape for the plastic protective covering that doesn’t look like a finely engineered design feature. Pros: - Flawless Bluetooth connectivity - Nice mobile app - Photo shutter control - Tile compatibility, for finding lost bud(s) Cons: - Mediocre sounding, even when using the app based EQ or customized settings. - Design is a bit awkward, could snap into the charging case a bit better - No wireless charging - A message kept appearing which appeared to want the buds to access the internet

I make use of a lot of earbuds on a daily basis. Depending on my mood at the time, how long I plan to wear them, or for what activity, I'll choose a particular pair. I do have other Skullcandy earbuds. This Grind True Wireless model, is of the same quality. Pairing was pretty straightforward. Simply follow the 'Let's get started' guide, and download the Skullcandy app. With the app you can see each earbud's battery level, customize the equalizer, turn on/off the 'Stay-Aware Mode', and use the 'Hands-Free Voice Control' feature. One thing I didn't like was that in order to use the 'Voice Control' feature, you have to have the Skullcandy app open, which can be darned inconvenient. I've yet to find a work-around by adjusting certain settings on my phone. This seems to me to be a definite downside, so I'll consider it a "Con" for this particular feature. Or perhaps, I'm missing something. Another thing I wasn't all that pleased with was the way my audio sounded when I had the 'Stay-Aware Mode' activated. Not only was everything, and I mean everything, really really loud, but I could hear my voice echo during phone conversations. Not pleasant, at all! And as far as that goes, though these earbuds fit relatively snugly in my ears so as not to have to worry about them falling out, I didn't even need to use the 'Stay-Aware Mode' to be mindful of my surroundings. I could hear just fine, but also be immersed in the audio I was listening to. So it's a useless (and flawed) feature, at least to me. Now the good stuff. The sound quality produced by these Skullcandy Grind True Wireless Earbuds is solid. Full, clear, crisp, and with enough depth of "bass" for my tastes. Also ... putting aside my previous criticism of the "Hey Skullcandy" 'Voice Control' feature, if you are someone who would use this regularly, being able to accept/reject phone calls, command the app to turn 'Stay-Aware' on/off, use voice commands as a means to control your Spotify Media Player, then this feature may work well for you. With the app open, 'Voice Control' DOES do what it's designed to do. The basic - 'Button Controls' - are preferable to me, when it comes to this model of Skullcandy earbuds. Once you learn the touch controls, you know them, and they are pretty simple. Basic, standard. Something I do like is that when you first put the earbuds into your ears, a voice tells you their battery level. Good feature right there. The charging case is small enough to carry inside a pants pocket or pop into a tiny purse. For some, the charging cord may be too short, but you could always use another USB-C cable instead. These Skullcandy Grind True Wireless Earbuds are pretty decent, just not great. Comparable in price to similar ones out there.

I got these for Christmas 2023, I have been using skullcandy since I was 10 I turn 27 this year and this product made me switch to another brand. I leave these at work in the charging case, when I come in there always dead or almost dead and only last a hour. The old ones I had before these last weeks without charge, they died due to old age and slight abuse. They app works amazing and they were among when they worked. Just tired of have to fight with them to charge everyday. Can’t turn due to be a Christmas gift and can’t get support from skullcandy website since I didn’t buy them. I won’t be buy skull candy anymore.

The Skullcandy Grind True Wireless in earbuds are okay. I really wanted to like them, but that didn’t play out. I opened up the box and found a USB/C to flat USB/A charging cable, different sized ear gels, a charging case, and the user's guide. So, what’s good, what not so good and why do I just like them, not love them. The charging case is nice. It’s well built and designed. The fact that it uses USB/C is a plus. I can’t believe other manufacturers are still using micro-USB ports. The pods are good too and fit okay. There is plenty of information on the user's guide and the box. What don’t I like? No matter what source I was connected to, I kept getting a skip, hiccup, or a very short loss of sound. It happened more than once, and I tried several different sources to see if it was just the source. I tried my Android phone, Windows machine, and Onkyo Receiver. Oh, and this Bluetooth adapter I bought online to work with my Arcam receiver. They all showed symptoms of the skip. Also, I know many manufacturers limit the volume of their earbuds, but these just didn’t get loud enough for me. I tried the voice control, but it didn’t seem to work. By the time I’d get music playing the voice control would turn off and announce it in the buds. I tried to turn it back on, but my phone and the app said it was on. Toggling off and on didn’t do anything except make the sound skip. One time it sounded like it was stuttering the video and I had to shut down everything and start over. Lastly, the very short charging cable included with the earbuds has that weird flat USB/A connector. Instead of it being a closed rectangular box that inserts into a USB port, it’s flat and tends to be a bit sloppy in a port. I’ve used a number of these types and they all seem to get loose with repetitive use. I wouldn’t recommend these to a friend because there are just too many other earbuds out there that work and sound better.

    Earbuds with voice control!

These are the first "earbuds" I've ever had with voice control and it's a game-changer. No more fumbling with the ear piece and trying to remember which ear to tap, and how many times. After downloading the Skullcandy app, commands are as easy as saying, "Skullcandy, play". Controls include "play/pause", "next/previous", "volume up/down", and "accept/reject" phone call.. They even have a feature to make you more aware of your surroundings called "stay-aware" which can be turned and off with your voice. You can also activate Spotify (subscription required) and share audio with other Skullcandy products that are IQ enabled. The Skullcandy app also contains an Equalizer function with options for music, podcast, movie, and custom (I like the extra bass you can get in the custom setting). Another benefit of the app includes the ability to update/provide new features as they become available. You no longer have to purchase new earbuds just to get the latest features! Drop or misplace an earbud? Download the Tile app and when combined with the Skullcandy app, you can "ping" your earbuds and make the search easier! The app can also become a remote control for your phone's camera function. Simply turn your camera on, place it wherever you want, and using one of the custom button functions, have Skullcandy take your photos for you. No more selfie-stick! Like most earbuds, the storage case also doubles as a charger and case/earbuds together can provide up to 40 hours of listening time, and the earbuds boast up to 9 hours alone. These are definitely the new standard in earbuds and everyone else needs to get in the game!

Skullcandy knows how to make a great, budget friendly set of wireless earbuds! This being one set of several that I own from Skullcabdy, I can honestly say that I may enjoy the fit of these more than the others. They come with the typical charging case and set of additional earbud tips in small, medium, and large. One thing I especially like is the button on the side of the earbuds. It isn't a "touch" button. It is an actual button you press down. This, I feel limits the amount of accidental touches. The companion app that is available for your smartnphone looks nice and functions well. You can customize features and adjust the EQ for the earbuds. You can also program the earbuds to be used as a button to trigger your smartphone to take photos. Skullcandy has also teamed up with Spotify to allow the user to jump into the music effortlessly. Another cool feature is the voice control. If you say "Hey Skullcandy..." the earbuds will also accept voice commands! One feature I wish would have been included is the ability to charge my device case on a wireless charger. All in all, this is a great ser of earbuds!
