Nice sound, wish they would power down when not actively in use. The quick charge feature is really helpful.

I have been a big fan of Skullcandy wired headphones products especially when I was using their Roc Nation Aviator headphones. For the price, they provided a sound quality that rivals expensive models. Being this would be my first Bluetooth headphones from Skullcandy I will try to keep expectations in line with wireless audio quality. Build Quality and Design: Design-wise I think they look nice. The two-tone color design of using black for the frame and grey for the earpads and soft padding on the top compliment each other well. Build quality is mostly plastic with some metal reinforcing the headband for added support. It’s not the most solid feeling headphones but neither do they feel brittle. My only concern would be the ear cup hinges frame. There is some play where the hinges connect to the ear cups, and the hinge frame having a hollow feeling. Hopefully, they stand up to the test of time. As for the earpads, they’re excellent on how they feel on your ear and how comfortable they can be. Even for someone that wears glasses like me, there’s no discomfort. Last, the finish, for the most part, is matte but the earpads have this soft finish that is a smudge magnet. Just a small complaint on that part. Overall, I like the look and finish despite the minor concerns. Features: 40mm drivers Dedicated ANC button and Ambient Mode Up to 22hrs of battery life. 10mins of charge can provide 3hrs of battery life. Flat folding and collapsible for portability and easy storage. Call, Track, and Volume controls that are easily distinguishable and simple to use. Built-in Tile ( Keep track of your headphones in case they get lost) Bluetooth 5.0 3.5mm wired connection. USB Type C Charging. Lacking Features: No dual connection support No APTx codec support. Sound Quality: Before I proceed I highly suggest that you perform the burn-in process. At first, the sound quality almost had me returned them back to their box. The highs sounded distorted with an overall hollow sound to them. I can comfortably say that after a couple of days of usage they sound so much better. Skullcandy signature is usually more bass-oriented but not overwhelming. If you prefer a more neutral flat sound I would suggest that you go test them at your local Best Buy if possible. I personally tend to prefer this type of sound profile that Skullcandy produces. They sound great, but sound-wise you won’t be blown away. If there’s something missing is the sharpness lacking from them. By no means take this as sounding awful trust me they don’t. Is still a pleasant sound accompanied by a punchy bass. If you switch over to a wired connection they do sound much sharper. That’s usually how it is for wireless headphones. There are no built-in equalizer settings. There is also no bass option so if you’re wanting more or less bass you will have to use a third party equalizer. For the most part, my usage was strictly over Bluetooth. Overall I was still satisfied with the sound coming out of the Hesh ANC. ANC: The ANC is strong with this one to the point my ears had to adjust to them compared to other ANC headphones I’ve tried in the past. The first couple of times I used them with ANC on it felt like I needed to pop my ears to relieve some pressure. After some time getting comfortable with them I was left impressed with how well ANC did especially now that I’m working from home. It would have to say it blocked right around 98% of the noise with just a faint of speech coming in. It is easier to concentrate on your work when background noise is almost completely blocked. I did not notice any drastic changes to music playback with ANC on or off. The ambient mode works good, no need to take the headphones off, if you need to talk to someone or if you need to be aware of your surroundings. There’s is no adjustment level for ANC it’s either on or off. Overall: The Hesh ANC are well-balanced headphones that do well on all aspects: Sound, ANC, and Features. They sound great, ANC performs excellent, and some extra features like built-in Tile, along with 3.5mm support for wired connection.
