That's a bummer. We would recommend perhaps giving our other products like the Crusher ANC for higher volume levels. We hope that you will consider giving us another chance in the future.

Good sound, comfortable, good battery life. Only wish the o -set controls were easier to see/find. Probably OK if you are actually blind, since it's basically by touch, but if you're just old and can't see well, they are not easy to distinguish. Other than that, it works well. Been using almost a month now with no other issues. Good value for the money.

love these headphones. i love to turn off the noise cancelling and then turning it on and just hear the background noise go away lol. they sound great. well rounded. not to much bass etc. they are comfortable as well. i like that they can be plugged in like to a computer if you don't have Bluetooth via a 3.5mm cord that comes with it. they fold up and comes with a case so you can pack it up easily. case has 2 pockets so you can put the charge cord in one and the 3.5mm cord in the other. if i had to complain about anything i would say the buttons. they kinda blend in to me so hard to tell what button i was on at first. you get used to it after a bit though. and i would also say the case. i would have liked to see a low profile hard case. it comes with a cotton type case. outside of those 2 things that are not to big a deal for me, i love these. like i said, they just have a great overall sound and with the noise cancelling, easy to hear music crisp, as well as movies and games. for calls, was easy to hear as well and could be heard. they also last a while with battery. used them for a couple days without charging and still had battery life. i ride a bus to and from work, hour each way and listen to music or watch videos. did not need to charge these all week. they remind me of more expensive brands that i own and sound just as good. if looking for good headphones but dont have 200+ dollars, then i suggest these. even if you do have, you can save and get these.

I am not sure if why each time I use these headphones, my ears hurt, and I start to suffer from headache and lately had some kind of allergy inside my ears makes me dizzy all the time. It took me a while to discover the cause, as soon as I stopped using them everything went back to normal.

The sound on these were ok depending on what you're looking for. Not top tier but for the price, decent. The only downfall was, they kept disconnecting from my iPhone. I was then prompted to delete them then I had to search and add them back to my Bluetooth devices.

Both my son and I have been very impressed with the Hesh ANC headphones. We have used them when traveling on small commuter planes that have a lot of noise coming from all sides, and I’m happy to say that they block out a nice amount of that sound and allow you to comfortably watch your shows or play your games and still have the audio experience! Additionally, they are versatile enough to use during meetings such as work-related conference calls, and having the Bluetooth capability allows me to use them even with devices that I can’t hardwire in. The sound is crisp, and I can detect a number of levels, from deep bass to hearing how the audio has been built to be immersive, such as with certain movies and shows. I wish the carrying case was a hard case, considering the couple of different cords that come with the headphones. I am always concerned with losing the cords when it’s just a drawstring case. To sum it up, I’m impressed as always with the headphones from Skullcandy, and look forward to using these for months and perhaps years to come. I received this product as a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This is a great pair of headphones! The fit is perfect all around and provided lots of comfort. the spund quality is clear, crisp and bold for listening all of my favorite music, podcasts and news. It really helps me stay connected! I'm also impressed with the long battery life and not having to charge often. The active noise cancellation works quite well and definitely better than some direct competitors.. The buttons and controls on this pair of headphones are easy to use and intuitive in design. I also really like the true black color and overall design of this product - it adds flair and style while enjoying the music I love. Overall, this is a very solid pair of headphones that I enjoy wearing to just about anywhere I go. I highly recommend this product!

The Skullcandy Hesh ANC over the head (traditional) headphones are very comfortable to wear, and sound very good. They are not as portable as in-ear headphones, but their comfort makes them worth having esp. for home-office use. Besides trying the wireless connection, I used the AUX cable with my laptop and desktop to do videoconferencing, music listening with Tidal and for general use and it worked out great, sound was clear, and I didn't have to worry about the battery. They do charge very fast, 10 minutes of charge is 3 hours use (charging 10 minutes gives you at least a very usable charge). The charger is USB-C which is convenient if you already have a USB-C cable from other devices ready to use. The ANC features (which i believe is only on with wireless on, and using battery) of these headphones work about as good as "most" ANC over head headphones in that they 'reduce' some of the background noise. The ANC is not as good as at least one other in-ear Skullcandy pair I have, but in-ear ANC buds have an advantage of virtually sealing the ear.

I've owned several active noise cancelling headphones. Some wired, some over ear, some completely wireless. All have their respective strengths and weaknesses (I've never used the Apple set). But generally one constant has always been the price. Most headsets (looking at you Bose and Sony) are pricey. They work well, but you're paying a premium. Other models might be a little cheaper, but they don't sound as good. Enter Skullcandy, a company I've always thought of making cheaper, flashy headphones. I think they hit a home run here balancing ANC, sound quality and features. My only minor gripe is comfort for long durations. IN THE BOX You get the headphones, a USB-C cable, and an Aux cable that plugs into your headset and another listening device. It comes with a carrying bag, but it's a soft bag and won't provide much "crush" protection if, say you threw it in your bag and threw books on top of it. I would have liked a harder case, but those can get bulky and frankly, given the price point here, I'm sure some corners were cut and this is one I'm okay with. It also includes a nice little cheat sheet to familiarize yourself with the buttons. DESIGN AND BUILD Unlike most Skullcandy designs, these are utilitarian and all black. It has a matte finish and frankly, I love it. They don't stick out in the crowd, but I'm not one that intends to make fashion statements with my headphones. They're made of plastic, like most all headphones not named Apple, and are light. There is a metal that serves as the band that goes over your head that exposes itself when you adjust the size of the earcups. This is a great choice as I think it will handle wear and tear when fitting the headphones over your head than plastic would. It sounds weird to say, but the headphones feel nice. They are light but have a well-built-togetherness that doesn't give you the sense that they're cheap or prone to break easily. The buttons like most headphones are limited which in my opinion is a good thing. There's power, pairing and volume (change tracks). EASE OF USE AND SOUND QUALITY In 2021, I'm certain everyone has used Bluetooth headphones at some point and are familiar with the pairing process. You simply hold the power button to turn them on, put them in pairing and your phone will find them instantly. It's virtually the same process as every other types of headphones. The buttons are responsive, although there's always a slight delay in changing tracks, but that's there with all headphones in my experience. I found the sound quality to be pretty dang good. I'm no audiophile, but I know what sounds good and what doesn't. The bass wasn't as deep as say the Sony ANC headphones, but It's not lacking and I doubt most people will notice or care the difference. Whether it was country, pop, classical or podcasts, I thought it had good highs and lows (vs. a muddled sound). The active noise cancelling was also pretty impressive. All that I can say and indeed, need to say, is that it works really well. When going for a walk I could block out the ambient noise (but be careful) and when at home, it allowed me to focus when my kids were playing in the other room. When no music is playing, some noise will get in, but if you have ANC and have some music playing, you can basically block out the noises of the world. For my money, I would put the ANC on par with Sony or Bose. I know some people will disagree and can point to some differences and I wouldn't necessarily argue, but for the average joe looking for ANC, the point is this is all you need. COMFORT As I mentioned earlier, my only gripe, is the comfort level. And part of my gripes are personal preference, so my complaints might not bother you. But these are touted (I believe) as "over the ear" headphones, meaning they cover your ear and the earcups rest on your head. Versus on ear headphones that rest, physically, on your ears. Not sure if it's because I have big ears (I've never been told I do, but I'm a big guy) these end up resting partially on my ears versus going all the way around them. This ends up putting pressure on my ears and it starts to get a little uncomfortable after an hour or so. Again, these may cover your ears entirely or you may not have discomfort with on ear types of ear cups, but it bothered me. I do want to add a little about the earcups. What actually keeps them from being more uncomfortable is the foam they're made out of. I didn't dive deep into how they're made, but they feel like memory foam. I personally liked Skullcandy's foam versus Bose/Sony foam ear cups. They make for a better seal and I think they do a better job of relieving some of the pressure while wearing them. Part of the reason these headphones feel more "premium" to me is the ear cups which I thought were really comfortable. I just wish the ear cups were just a tad bigger. CONCLUSION Hands down, if you are looking for noise cancelling headphones you need to take a strong look at these. The sound is great and the noise cancellation is almost on par with Sony and Bose (again, from average joe perspective). And they're significantly cheaper. If money is truly no object, sure spring for the more expensive ones, but otherwise, these Skullcandy's perform nearly as well as them at half the price. I really was impressed with their performance.

The Skullcandy - Hesh ANC Over the Ear Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones are well built and ergonomic. They are comfortable and produce little fatigue associated with over the ear headphones. They sound rich, although a little heavy on the bass side, but not enough to muddy the sound. I did find that placement over the ear is key, highs seemed to fade quickly if the cup was not aligned properly over your ear, this is the first time I ever remember encountering this on headphones of the fully over the ear variety. The active noise cancelling is about the best I have encountered, doing a great job filtering out background noise. Nothing complex with the controls, they are pretty much standard with a dedicated noise cancelling on/off button. The headphones charge using a USB-C plug and the headphones also have a line in plug. Bluetooth connections were solid, never had any dropped connections. Pros: • Quality of build • Excellent active noise cancellation • Good sounding • Comfortable Cons: • They are more bass focused then most (could be a Pro for some people).

These headphones are great. They are comfy so all day wear is possible even with glasses. Battery is long lasting and the best part they including a headphone wire, which makes it easy to connect to older devices, or PC's if you don't want to use bluetooth. Setup and use is easy. Music sounded good to me via the phone and I had no issues with videos either. The Active Noise Cancelling worked, but I think a lot of that could be from the thicker foam the use on the ear cups to surround your ears. Overall they sound great, come with a nice pouch to making carrying in your backpack viable. Have a great battery life and sound good with options between wired listening and wireless which is awesome. Love the cans.
