My MPow Head phones died so I bought this head phone. These perform poorly and are no where near the quality of the MPow I had. The battery life is horrible and laughable. I have to always charge them. If you do not charge them, they scream in your ear "battery low." No beep, just yells in your ear no matter what the volume setting. The controls are not user friendly unless you have tiny hands. The sound damping is poor and there is virtual no difference between the sound damp on or off. Do not buy and go find something else.

I was able to pair these very easily right out of the box. They are so comfortable on the ears. The longer I wore them the more moldable they became. The fit helps to block out most of the noise in the room even before changing the noise cancelling settings. It's pretty cool that Tile is built in. I like that I can track them down if I happen to misplace them. The raised buttons on the right ear are easy enough to distinguish by touch. Each button does different things by single touch, double touch or touch and hold. I will have a hard time remembering what's what at first. It comes with a card in the box with reminders for the controls. It also comes with an audio cable. My phone no longer has an audio jack so I've really not tried that option. Sound quality is good. Bass is deep and treble and mids are crisp and clear. There's no distortion even at high volumes. The sound quality rivals way more expensive over the ear headphones in my opinion. A great quality and value for the price you'll pay. Calls are also very clear. Battery life is fantastic. I was able to go more than 30 hours on a single charge. I only have one complaint and believe me, it's minor. Every place these touched, the top of my head and my ears gets sweaty when wearing them for any length of time. All in all I love these. They are my new favorite and I would absolutely recommend.

Sound quality is good but the charging cord included in the package is waay short. It also drains power fast that you'll need to charge it multiple times in one day.

These skull candy over the ear hold their own and more against other name brands. They are very comfortable and adjustable making them easy to wear for an extended time. The ANC feature works really well in isolating the sound. The sound spectrum is full and you can enjoy all the intricacies of any music genre. I have yet to test the full battery range but I rarely let any headphones die before plugging them up any way. The Bluetooth connection is reliable and easy to pair with any device. It also comes with an aux jack which I guess can come in handy while traveling on a plane or train. It charges very fast to keep the music going. The only minor negatives, one that did get quite annoying sometimes was when I was wearing them outdoors and it was very breezy. It seemed that the wind was coming into the headphones even with the ANC activated. Kind of felt like I was in a wind tunnel and the ear cups were not fitted properly. I tried my best to adjust the fit to eliminate the wind noise but just couldn’t get it. Now mind you, the sound was not affected and still sounded very pleasant, it was just the added wind that got on my nerves. Secondly, I just wish the volume was able to get a tad louder. They do have sufficient volume to enjoy, but sometimes I just want that added thump to put it over the top. I was able to max out the volume with no distortion in the sound at all. That let’s me know there is room for more. Just saying!

Decent headphones for the price. Battery life needs to be improved.

after being fullly charged, the headphones shut down on me. i returned them. bought cheap ones. i previously bought air pods pro with apple care around 6 months ago and lost one. they sounded lousy and i was not investing anymore in that set. this set sounded better, but they were faulty so i went and bought 29.00 set jbl

They were not as sound proof as preferred and was not comfortable on my ears.

About a month after getting theae all the do is say power on over and over. When ibtry ti hit the power button to turn them off they say power o-o-o-o-o-o.....until i plug in a usb cord toe force them off. Resetting them didn't work. Honestly disnt sound thelat great to begin with.

This is an awesome looking headphone. it looks super sleek and modern.

Good headphones from skullcandy but i hope for longer battery life

OK I have a nice little assortment of wireless headsets, very handy these days when teaching virtual classes and attending virtual meetings and then retiring for some binge watching to get away from it all… you get the idea – something is in or on my ears pretty much all day long. With that said, I must confess that these Skullcandy headphones are my preferred choice when it comes down to what I can wear comfortably for long periods of time. COMFORT: I have some sets with fabric cups, some sets with plasticized cups, memory foam and all that. The Skullcandy Hesh is the most comfortable pair for LONG periods of time on the head. They are light, flexible, don’t “crush” the head but stay on snugly…. This set is the Goldilocks “just right” fit for me. NOISE CANCELING: the ANC on these is the best I have experienced. As soon as I turn them on it is like I stepped into a recording studio sound room. All the window fans and keyboard clicks and other little noises just disappear. People who want to stand around and chatter and distract me all fade into little muffled bumps that are easy to disregard (and that’s another story for another day). There is also an “ambient” setting with a double-push of the ANC button that uses the 4 microphones to ‘repeat’ the ambient sound – so if you want to very quickly hear what is going on around you WITHOUT taking off or turning off the headphones, you can hit the button and you actually get a louder version of the surrounding sound than if you took off the phones. Noice! BATTERY: no question about it, these last longer than any other set I have used – and I keep the ANC on all the time I am using them. I have yet to “run out” of battery using these all day for teaching virtual classes and then settling down for the evening to watch some movies or TV. I will put them on the USB-C for about an hour when stopping for walking the dog and dinner, and then back on the head for the evening’s entertainment. There is a “quickie” function that Skullcandy says gives you several hours of extra battery time with a quick charge, and I guess it works just fine because battery life has not been a problem at all. DURABILITY: this is a real issue with me, as I have a “high end” set of bluetooth headphones from another very well known company, and there is a little plastic “hangar” piece that connects the headband to the earcups that has CRACKED and broken apart on BOTH sides. I have had to order this little plastic hangar TWICE and they ain’t cheap, and then take everything apart including using a soldering gun to remove the wires and then put it all back together again… which is absolutely inexcusable and will keep me from EVER buying headphones from that other well-known company ever ever again. If you have a nice pair, but can’t wear them without breaking little dinky plastic pieces, then they are NO GOOD to me. Now these Skullcandy headphones are a different story. Honestly I thought that since they were much less expensive they would be kind of plastic-toy in construction, but I swear you can twist these like a Twizzler and they don’t seem to have a weak spot. Thank you Skullcandy for considering durability as something important. I would not worry about letting the kids use these. CONTROLS: these are very very simple to operate. On/Off button, ANC button, VolUP, VolDown – the start, stop, skip, answer, hangup all work with the same buttons, and the controls are easy to learn and the buttons are DURABLE and I’m not worried about them crushing under my fingers from pushing them a lot. SOUND: sure you buy headphones for sound, but if they are not durable or the battery runs out too soon or the controls are a problem – then what good is the sound? With that said, I have no complaints about the sound. There are no equalizer settings and adjustments as I have on the more expensive headsets, but I have done virtual meetings, all kinds of music, TV, movies, podcasts – everything sounds just fine to me and I’m sure there are better sounding headsets out there as there always is something better for more money, but really I have no issues with the sound quality and if you have good ANC (like these do) then it’s easier for them to sound good. Quick note about the microphones – I had been using a gaming headset for my virtual class teaching and also for the virtual meetings with the boom microphone and all that gaming headset stuff. I had a little private meeting going on and used the gaming headset with the boom mic first, and then switched to the Skullcandy which has 4 built-in mics – and asked the others in the meeting if they could tell any difference. They couldn’t tell if I was using one or the other, and once I got comfortable with using the Skullcandy headphones and not having that boom mic sitting next to my mouth, I found the comfort and ANC of the Skullcandy set to be a more comfortable set to use. OK that about wraps it up. I don’t think you will be disappointed with this set of headphones. Spend more if you like, or if you really need the high-end headphones, but otherwise this is a set of phones that you won’t have to worry about breaking or running out of juice. The sound is fine but the fit and ear cushion are poor meaning they don’t block external noise. I can wear my Bose with no music, no active noise canceling and get a pretty quiet environment. These? Maybe 15% of my environmental noise is muffled.

It sucks the sound quality went down very quickly after opening the box. (About 2 days)

They suck!! 4 mo ths in and they keep saying piwer on. Cant shut them off and cant fix them. Did hard reset, and nothing changed. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I am very big on sound quality and these headphones have delivered. I tried to find headphones cheaper than other with great sound and the Skull Candy ANC has come to resue. I use them to watch tv and go to the gym. Bass is great also. They are very sleek and great looking. The heaphones are also lightweight and portable. The ear cups fit perfectly around my ears and thr active noise cancellation is awesome! Way better than my air pods or jbl headphones.
