Too many issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these going on 3 months however the issues started before that. First, people always had a hard time hearing me then I guess it just got progressively worse. Initial pairing wasn't the most user friendly and had to be done a few times. And now it's come to the point the left ear bud does not respond to any touch commands. I have tried over and over and over and over, every which way to get it to work. But nope, I am at the end of trying. Sound comes from it, it can connect but other than that it is useless. Oh and before realizing the touch commands didn't work, people would say I sounded far away. My assumption is, although connected, the mic is not working and any sounds people heard were coming from the phone's mic even though the ear bud was connected. It is when I removed it from my bluetooth devices to reconnect it that I realized the touch is not working. On both of them, however, I have always had a hard time handing up. I know the touch pattern, but it just did not respond as such. Overall, these have been nothing but a headache and garbage, sorry to say. For tech purposes, I am using a Google Pixel 3 phone using Android 11. I also could not get both buds to play sound at the same time. It was either one bud or the other even though both were connected. Maybe that was a user error but I followed all instructions. I will be submitting a warranty claim since it is past the return window with Best Buy.

HeadPhones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought them for my son's phone. His new phone doesn't have a jack. I wanted to get him wireless that didn't cost a ton in case he lost them. These provide good quality for a decent price. They were a little stubborn to connect them.

good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headphones for the budget price they are never fell out of my ears during a workout. Theirs only 2 negatives i can give them 1st is that they feel like cheap plastic but that is to be expected, the other is the bass is supper over powering. So if your a bass head you'll love these.

Skull Candy can do better
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned several Skull Candy headphones and earbuds throughout my life, and I always thought they were great at finding that balance between value and quality. After my most recent pair that were wireless but had that collar that goes around your neck stopped working, I decided I wanted to get "true wireless" earbuds next. That's when I got these. To start, they seemed like good quality. The case they come in is nice and uses USB C to charge, and the battery life is pretty good too. Then after a couple months of use, I am frustrated and plan to avoid getting earbuds like this going forward. One of the first problems are the black rubber/silicone loops that serve two purposes, you have to pull on them to take the earbuds out of the case, and they help secure them in your ear. They separate from the earbuds themselves easily and do not stay attached for long, so I'm constantly having to fiddle with them and try to get them back to how they should be. Very annoying and uncomfortable. The next issue is that they don't have the best signal and will lose connection and need repaired, or the song/podcast I'm listening to will sound choppy or like it's skipping. My phone will be in my pocket or on a table next to me, I'm within reasonable distance that this shouldn't be happening. Lastly, the controls don't work well either. I have a hard time getting it to pause with the double tap gesture, and sometimes it'll start activating other modes like ambient mode when I'm just trying to pause or turn the earbud off.

Great product for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great set of earbuds. The sound is clear and crisp. Works well for music or audiobooks. The charge is about six hours and the case can recharge the buds about 5 times before needing a recharge itself.

Great set of ear buds for the price!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend these skullcandy earbuds to anyone. Same great audio as much more expensive ear buds out there. Battery life is great, I only have to recharge them once a week. The only negative is sometimes its a pain hitting the right control to do what you want (next song, replay song, switch modes).

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality and fit. Don't fall out of your ears no matter what you are doing. Noise canceling works great. Best pair of headphones I have owned. If you are trying to find a good pair of wireless earbuds these are the ones you should buy.

The earbuds so nice I bought them twice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my wife a pair of these earbuds and she LOVED them for any activity. They're built well, the battery life is great, the wireless charging pod is a cool and convenient feature. The controls are great once you've got them down, too. My only complaint is about the ambient mode. This mode is supposed to supply white noise and a low, ambient music volume, but when I activate this mode, the noise reminds me of a hearing aid that needs to be adjusted. It's loud, it's high-pitched, and it's something that never fails to make me rip both of my earbuds out immediately. I don't know if the issue with ambient mode is a defect, but I'll be reaching out to Skullcandy about it very soon. All that said, these are great earbuds, save for the ambient mode feature. 9.5/10, I definitely recommend.

More than worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought skull candy and returned them because they would not stay in my ears. When this product says, “Stay Hear”, it’s the truth! The sound is what one comes to expect from Bose! Worth more than the $149 I spent!! Buy them!

Great Sound, Great Cost
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality. Reoccurring issues with right side. Have purchased these over 10 times due to issues with rt. side, but sound quality for these is preferred over higher priced brands.

Practical, lightweight earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received these earbuds at no cost for an honest review. Having owned multiple types and brands of earbuds, I'd like to be fair for the price point and for the purpose of these. Pros: - Rechargeable case which fully charges the earbuds 4 times. At 6 hours per charge, that's 30 hours total listening experience, assuming your earbuds were fully charged from the beginning. - When connected to bluetooth, the phone indicates the charge level on each earbud. - Skullcandy app guides you through Bluetooth connection process and recognizes type of earbuds you have. - Skullcandy integrated a sort of Morse Code tapping sequence to enable the different features of the earbuds. The key is included, but it will take some familiarization to learn each sequence. The earbuds do respond audibly letting the user know what it is they've just enabled or disabled. I found that helpful. - The earbuds are very light. I barely feel them in my ears. It took me several tries and the smallest earbud covers for them to fit, but once they fit, they were very snug no matter how much I shook my head. - Skullcandy included multiple earpiece covers to make sure you have the right fit. (S, M, and L) depending on your ear canal size, and 2 of the "earlocking" covers depending on your outer ear size. - Sound quality is very good, when fitted properly** **Fitting them properly and inserting them correctly is crucial in ensuring best audio quality. Poor fitment will make earbuds sound like the free ones you get during a long airplane trip. Cons: - Earbuds connect individually. They don't "talk" to each other. They are supposed to be controlled synchronously. For example, tapping the left earbud once is supposed to lower the volume for both, while tapping the right one should make the volume go up for both. However, when I tap the left, only the left volume decreases, and when I tap the right one, only the right one's volume increases. Because of that, I can only control the volume using my phone which takes part of the convenience away (Minus one star) - Fitting these is a pain. You really have to wiggle them in to make them fit, though once they go in, they fit relatively comfortably. I was getting ready to give up, but after some rubik's cube type finagling, they went in. I really wanted to blame my ears for this one, but it happened when I let my friend try them on too. (minus one star) Overall, these earbuds sound good (not great) and they are very light. Phone call quality is good. Portability is great and battery durability is great. However, the connectivity issues make this a tough one to fully recommend. I do recommend it IF you know what you're getting into, but I really hope Skullcandy can fix these small issues with an update or something through their app. Until then, 3/5 for me.

Good sounding ear buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When opening these the first thing I noticed is the plastic that they are made of and I wish that Skullcandy would have made them with a little bit heavier plastic perhaps smaller, and also with a textured feel as the plastic feels flimsy/light and slips right through your fingers but don't let outside looks and first impressions fool you. Pairing procedure is easy and charging them is easy - the USB-C is great to have as that's what most things use now. The USB-C charge cable is almost a cruel joke as it's only a few inches long - hopefully whatever USB port you charge them with isn't far or you have another USB-C cable around! The touch controls on them were for me almost impossible, if not frustrating, to use as the controls were hit/miss and really not that intuitive. What was tricky was figuring out what Apps/Software to use and unlike other headphones, these don't pop up a notification upon pairing to download any app for them so figuring that out is not all that intuitive. Battery life is solid and they definitely last longer than I thought they would and the case charges the buds several times relatively quick just as advertised. The Tile feature is cool but like stated if you just jump in without reading and go to pair them there's nothing that jumps out to say what apps you should use these buds with. Upon figuring out which apps to use and getting them paired up I found the Bluetooth to be very stable (in fact they've yet to cut out or disconnect) and work just as good as my Airpods do in that regard (minus the easy pairing feature Airpods have with iPhones). The sound quality is nearly as good as the original Airpods and didn't distort with an overall good sound, however, they do not have the louder volume and bass that Airpods do. So if you asked, are they as good as Airpods my answer would be they are close, but they not quite there, and certainly no comparison to the Airpods Pro. Overall, I'd recommend these but with their shortcomings, I would definitely say they are average - not good, not bad. They would be great for working out or running where they are sweat resistant. I found that they do stay in my ears and the Tile feature is a must-have when you exercising/running so you can find them if you happened to drop one along the way. For any other use, I would consider other earbuds with louder volume/bass and at least a decent charge cable. Pros: Decent sound, they don't distort and overall sound good Battery life Tile feature USB-C Sweat-resistant and can customize fit with different ear tips which are included Cons: Short charging cable Flimsy case/plastic Lacks louder volume/bass No app guidance upon initial pairing Touch controls are finicky/sensitive

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very difficult to pair and pair together. Pretty solid headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were bought for someone else, and they said while they aren’t actual noise cancellation headphones, they’re snug enough to effectively be noise cancelling. After a few hours of being in your ear, they start to hurt the ears.
