Pretty good set of ear plugs.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are good ear plugs. The only thing my son has a problem is a little over two weeks after he got them the left ear started acting up. Then all it went completely dead on the left side and of course I didn’t get the warranty(it was two days after the chance I could still get it). I haven’t even had them a month now, we paid $75.00 for them and not sure what we can do now.

Quality not high enough for sync issues
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got really tired of the iPhone audio dongle and disconnections overall sound issues... decided to finally give wireless earbuds a try. Wanted to be able to walk the dog without messing around with a wire and the dongle. I went with these because the battery life looked good, sound reviews were "decent" relative to the wireless earbud and pricepoint range, and I've had a pair of wired Skullcandy earbuds for like eight years and have been happy with them. I bought them at about 8:30 on a Thursday night. Got them home, tried them out... Sounded a little weak but not outright terrible- but since these were my first wireless earbuds, I really didn't have a point of reference. I don't usually turn the volume up too loud in earbuds, but the max volume was pretty underwhelming. Between 8:30 and 11:00, I listened to music as I cleaned up the kitchen, cut up some veggies, and watched tv with the audio running through the earbuds. Three times, the earbuds fell out of sync with one another... one earbud played at around a half-second delay. On the following Friday morning, I put on an audiobook through the headphones and took the job for a 20-minute walk. The earbuds went out of sync once during that walk. The earbuds did not go out of sync after I touched or adjusted them- just seemingly out of the blue. For what it's worth, they are super easy to re-sync up. It was like five seconds of fussing and they were back to working properly. For $80, I don't want to deal with it. I'm going to return them.

Not Skullcandy’s Best
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is about my fourth item purchased from Skullcandy, and up until now, I have really enjoyed the value I’ve gotten. This pair, however, has its issues. First, the charging base doesn’t have a great system for notifying you that charge is complete. I guess when all of the lights strobe one at a time it’s done? That seems completely unintuitive. I don’t know if that means they are done charging or if this is just not working as intended because there were no instructions and I haven’t bothered looking into it. Second, the last time I tried to use the case to recharge the ear buds, they got no charge and I know the base had been recently plugged in. Third, they don’t stay in your ear well, so if you plan on moving around at all, this may not be the right item for you. Even mowing the lawn causes me to have to readjust them regularly. Fourth, they have at one time come “unlinked” from each other (only one would connect to my phone while the other lost its pairing and wanted me to re-pair it). For this I contacted Skyllcandy support and they instructed me on resetting the device. Fifth, they seem to cut out quite a lot, even when my phone is feet away. I can’t say this is definitely the Indy’s fault, but I never noticed it with my other headphones/buds. I’m stuck with them now because Best Buy only has a 15-day return policy, so I’ll have to keep using them and hope for the best I bought these to replace my AirPods that I lost, and I kind of wish I had just forked out a little more to replace them with new AirPods.

Phone calls only work on one ear piece! Drops conn
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone calls only work on one ear piece! So if you lose main one the other is useless. If the battery dies you can't switch to the other device. Volume is not loud enough. The Ear piece keeps dropping connections and doesn't shut the volume off. So be ready to be embarrassed if someone hears what your listening too.
