I have loved these headphones for years but for some reason the last 2 pairs that I brought seemed like they had static and they just acted real weird with my phone. They would turn on on their own to play music and people couldn't always hear me talking through them. I thought it was my phone but my daughter plug them up and they acted funny in her android phone. I went with a different kind and it works fine no problem. So disappointing because they were comfortable in my ears

These simply don't last. The sound is decent enough though. If you buy these, spring for the 2-year replacement plan as we have gone through 3-4 sets in a year.

Bought as a temporary substitute until I received my bluetooth headset I ordered. The button feature is really nice. Makes it so you don't have to pull out your device when you want to pause/play/skip backward/forward.

Good price but don't last long. Some have worked good but some didn't. Speakers stop working but buy the extended warranty! I have gone thru several of these but they are covered by extended warranty.

Although the design is sturdy (which is a plus), the chunky earbuds don't fit sungly without swapping the rubber tips with ones that would fit the ear canal better.

No bass but okay for audio books, etc.

Not great sound, no bass for example. I use them mostly for podcasts while on a walk or bike ride so they're good enough for that. I got these because my headphones usually have coords that get bent near the jack often enough that after a while they start to crackle and cut-out. I have to replace them in a year or so and that's why I no longer get expensive (good) ones for this use. Difficult to see the 'L' or 'R' on the inside edge of the headphone just where the coord comes out so I added a dot with a silver marker to make it easy to figure out at a glance.

Not necessarily the best sounding headphones but for the price you can't find a better pair. They're very clear when talking on the phone. They're inexpensive and the build quality it's acceptable.

These ear bud headphones are alright. The only drawback for me is that I think they could be a little louder, which is odd, considering they're a skull candy product.

These are my go to ear buds whenever I'm in the market for a pair. I've never run into any problems with them and only need to replace them when I lost a pair or broke them from negligence. These guys are reliable and I plan to keep using them for a long time.

You get what you pay for with these. They are a good cheap price, work great for a while, but break fast. I knew that when I bought them for $25.00.

I have owned several pair of these earbuds and have been happy with the sound quality and their durability. I am tough on my headphones and that is why I prefer a more budget ear phone.

I would buy another pair if I lost these ones. I use them at the gym and they stand up to the wear and tear or my riding in a car with 2 kiddos. Sound quality isn't perfect but gets the job done.

Just to provide a simple background of who I am and what I have experience with to help you get a clearer picture of who is reviewing this product: I've purchased quite a few headphones/earbuds during my existence on this planet; from Sony to Sennheiser to Souls, from over the head cans to in ear buds. I have a home studio where I have a pair of ATHM-50's and Sennheiser HD 203's for recording and have a pair of Soul SL150's, SMS Street by 50's, Soul SL49's, and Sony XB500's for casual listening. SOUND: 3/5 I purchased these Skullcandy's from Radioshack for $17.99 for the simple fact my earbuds I used with my work computer broke and just wanted a cheap replacement. After 2 weeks of burn in and listening, I will say that these earbuds are at most, average. The bass, although not overpowering, is very present and handled very well. The highs and the treble is where in my honest opinion, these earbuds fall short. These earbuds produce very HARSH highs to the point where I cannot listen to the song. Besides the harsh highs though, everything else is pretty good, especially for the price point. DESIGN: 4/5 As far as I've tested, the microphone works very well and the headset is pretty clear when I'm on the phone. I really love the cord design (flat# and the earbuds themselves are plastic and are EXTREMELY light. I find a light weight ear bud to be very favorable, i.e. my Soul SL49 which I must say are the BEST sounding earbuds on the market right now, fall short in one area and that is the earbuds are so heavy, they tend to fall out quite frequently. I love the ability to pause and play music with the remote on the cord but it's missing a volume control. You can wear these for hours without any sort of nagging or pain-very comfortable. To summarize, I always HATED the Skullcandy brand and vowed to NEVER purchase any Skullcandy products but because of the reduced price point at the time, I gave in. Initially when looking at this brand, you can't take it seriously because of the name and logo #at least I couldn't) but I must say, coming from a negatively biased point of view towards this audio brand, they are pretty average earbuds and I would recommend this specific product to people looking for a cheap pair of earbuds with a mic for handsfree control on your iPhone or Droid device. A better alternative if you are looking for AMAZING sound are the Soul SL49 which I got for $35. Just look around.

If you get these less than $10 they are fine, I would definitely not pay more for them as they are no better than the $5 ones I have found elsewhere.

Solid quality for the price. Great for phone use and sound good enough for casual listening of music. Durability has been tested, i drug them down the freeway outside of the car for about five miles! Still work great!

I was traveling and needed some headphones and these adequately did what I needed for good price. Not best sound for use every day but good spare to carry. Use at gym and don't worry about losing.
