headphones play music well while blocking out external noise, however when using them to have a phone conversation, I find that my voice seems to be amplified making it hard to hear the person on the other line. also the function button controls track selection and phone call answering, but not volume?

Perfect for listening to music while on the train. Sound quality is awesome for the price of the product. I have no complaints. Call quality is clear and crisp, not needing to be maxed out in volume settings and callers can hear me clearly with no complaints or even doubts that I have my handset to my ear. It's a good product. The headphone wires are flay and remain tangle free.

Got these at a great price. Since I just got them, I cannot comment on durability, and if they will stay in my ears, but the fit seems good and the sound quality is decent. Plan to use them with my tablet when I'm on vacation. Suppose I can also use with my smartphone if I have need for headphones.
