They pump music into her head. So, truthfully, I've never used them. She likes them. And the dog has eaten 2 other pairs. I'm sure she'll like this one too.

I go through these skullcandy like popcorn not because they get messed up, its because im dumb and i lose them frequently. They sound great and their one year warranty is good.

Earphone's sound good for the price your paying, but people say they can't hear me when I'm talking through the mic. Other than that good product.
