Okay sound for price, but not great.

I'm a musician. I want a balanced sound with solid bass, clear trebles, and balanced midrange. I found these to be a little spotty, with a weak bass and weak high treble. I used the EQ on my mp3 player to tweak them and get an acceptable sound, but I like my Sonys (which cost just a little more - maybe $35) much better. I bought these as a backup if my 4-year-old Sonys give out. After listening to them, I think they'll just be a temporary fix until I can find something better (if the old Sonys ever do die.)

These earphones are pretty good for the price that you pay. I bought two pairs on sale to replace the broken ones that I had. So far, so good. I'm happy and they are the best ones I bought in years. I usually just use the ones that come with whatever gadget I bought. When listening to your earphones, make sure the quality of the mp3 is good, otherwise the sound will be weaker either way. They have some good bass to them as well. Anything with skulls rocks as well.

Tired of purchasing earbuds for my iPod/iPhone at a high price and poor durability, I went to Best Buy in search of a better product. I was immediately approached by an associate who recommended the ear phones she personally uses and has come to prefer. Some products offerred were priced higher, but she told me she has not been disappointed. Wow, was she correct! Granted, I have only had these nine months, but they are a "5" in all categories. I have no doubt that they will last a long time, both internally and externally. When I received my Rewards coupon, I used it to buy a second pair because I know when the other earbuds in our family break, these will always be our replacement.

Holy COW! What have I been missing? Yes, I'm a geek, I listen to primarily New Age Solo Piano music. Folk vocal (Indigo Girls), contemporary and classic vocal (Elton John, Billy Joel), totally geek and dated vocals (Barry Manilow). I will tell you right now this is the best 19.99 I have ever put in my ears. Maybe it's not your thing, but download David Lanz, Return to The Heart, Variations on a Theme of the Canon in D. He recorded this piece in a cathedral in europe. in the background, there were birds chirping outside the cathdral windows, and lorrys and cars going past on the street, and I've heard them all before. Ive heard them in my car, with headphones, with JVC earbuds, with Sony earbuds that cost twice as much, but I have NEVER EVER heard them so clearly, or so crisply heard the full range of ever keystroke of the piano. These Earbuds are a steal, and tomorrow I am going back to Best Buy and buying another set, so if anything happens to these, I have backups. This is music like I have heard it only in my mind before. Now I hear it for real. WOW. Save the money on the other "cheap" earbuds, and blow your $20 on these, and they will blow you away.

i bought it cuz i was looking for some earphones that i cud blast my music with. well i did. and it worked amazing for the first 4 weeks. then i guess it was the cable.. well in other words, didnt last very long. wasnt durable. and i took very good care of it. other than that very important detail; best earphones i ever had. (i bought them wen they were $35) thought since they were more expensive they wud last longer. *little dissapointed

I use my iPod every night and almost everyday, so I tend to wear out earphones quickly. I was spending approximately $40 dollars on earbuds until I borrowed a pair of these. They do not wear out any more quickly than the JVC and Sony that I was using. In fact, the foam latex of the other brands wore out much more quickly than these rubber inserts. They are actually more comfortable to me than the foam latex earbuds (like the JVC Marshmallows), and I don't feel upset when I eventually have to replace them because the wires (where they connect to the plug) just can't handle the kind of abuse that I put them through. I don't perceive any difference in the sound quality compared to "nicer" brands, and the impedance is listed as exactly the same. If you are going to buy the low end of a pricier brand, this is a much better product.

The Ink'd Skullcandy series are great!!

I own a pair of blue Ink'd in-ear skullcandies and I love them. The buds that are already fitted with the ear buds fits perfectly in my ears and feel very comfortable. The smallest one is the only one that I say can fall out of my ears easily. I never had a problem with hearing static when I plug it into my laptop and my skullcandy ear buds never blew out. Possibly the problem for some of you guys is that you're turning the sound up too much. The bass is awesome but it's even better sounding with my Shullcandy Hesh headphones.

This is the second time I have bought this exact pair of headphones and the last time I buy Skullcandy. To say these are good headphones is about all you can say. For $20 you can't get much better. But wait, I'm certain you can. After about three months of having these the connection to the plug went to pits (this also happened on the pair that I previously owned). I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I f you want good headphones, then spend the money and buy a set of Bose or Sennheiser.

I enjoy using these, they fit snug, but don't hurt my ears like other ear buds. I like music loud, and they are. Also the noise reduction works great!

nice & cheap but lacking durability

I loved the head phones. They canceled noise & seemed like a great buy compared to other headphones- which were well above $20 dollars. However my joy was short lived after they fell apart shortly after a month. My best advice is to go the extra dollar and buy something that will last. You'll thank yourself later.

    1 year wonder

2nd time around on these. First purchase was used 3-4 times per week, mainly in an arm band during use and in my gym bag not in use - lasted about a year. Bought again and used about 1 time per week on average, no armband, no gym bag. Cut out in about 11 months. Overall for $20, not bad if you're careful with it. For me, I'll try something new with my next pair.

I purchased my first pair of skull candy headphones about a year and a half ago. Since the i have returned them three times for a new pair. I can not listen to them for more than a month with out them breaking. I am sick of going to the store to return them and have excepted that i am out twenty dollars. The sound quality is great while you can still hear your music. Spend the extra ten dollars and get a real pair of headphones.

I don't normal like ear buds like these because they sound kind of hollow but saw these online black Friday and picked up a pair, wish i had got more. For the money they are the best ear bud I've ever, have nice sound and two sizes of ear adapters for comfort.

I have been very frustrated until I bought this amazing ear buds. I have had other brands of ear buds but when I bought these my problems were solved I finally found the right ear buds for me. These ear buds have an amazing sound for there size, they sound like I'm wearing DJ headphones. They are also very comfortable and have three sizes of tips for anyone. I' am very pleased with skullcandy and do recommend these to others so spread the word out to others and let them know about how amazing skullcandy is.

Great sound. But I can hear the cord banging when I walk and when the wind blows it sounds like on the tv when the news broadcasters are in a stormy situation the microphone picks up the whooshing of the wind.

I really like this product, not only because of the great quality of the sound, but the buds perfectly fit into your ear so you can listen anytime, anywhere, without having difficulty fitting them in, or having to deal with them falling out.

I purchased these 3 days ago for work. I work in a factory and they sound good. They stayed in my ear regardless how much I moved. If you're looking for some in-ear earbuds and don't want to spend alot I would seriously look into these.
