This is my second pair, I had the first for over 6 yrs before I lost them. I used them all the time - On the plane, at work, workout, or even when I went to sleep. Never once had a problem and they have outstanding sound.

I have owned several pairs of Skull Candy ear buds and they tend to wear out after a little while, but this pair...my first in the Ink'D series....surprisingly fits better and has lasted longer with better audio quality than my previous sets and has me a little impressed. Nice !

They are the best compared to any other brand

Compared to all the other brands on the market, Skullcandy is the best for design/color/style, sound, and comfort. Considering that I buy three sets every 3-6 months for my teens, they hold up pretty well considering that they are used daily. Overall, worth the purchase.

these headphones worth its price. for about $20 you'll get average quality. volume is is loud but loud doesn't mean good sound. no effects at all. sound is just flat. it's ok for audiobooks but not for the music. going to return them and get anything for higher price. Cannot say anything about durability.

for begginers, get what you pay for

These are a get what you pay for situation for sure. The bass is way too heavy if you're a rock listener, these phones amplify bass that really isn't there and it ends up hurting the overall quality of the music. If you're into any music that's bass heavy then these buds are for you. Im an average guy and I would expect the ear buds to fit an average person better. The small fittings fall out and the medium fittings are too big. I guess im just picky but these aren't my first set of buds so i don't think this complaint is outright. The cable to the phones is made out of a super moist rubber that knots up the first chance it gets so DO NOT PUT IN POCKETS. Overall these are good starter headphones. Flashy color, and big bass but ultimately for someone who's all about the bass or doesn't have an ear for sound quality.

Unbeatable for the price

For the price, the sound these output is unbeatable. Strong bottom-end but with plenty of midrange and high-end to back it up. I see plenty of reviewers complaining about durability, but I haven't had one issue with mine and I've been using them over a year. I don't baby them either. I was them at the gym, throw them (untied) into my bookbag, and wear them mowing the lawn. They still work like new. I've owned many pair of headphones, and I can't imagine spending a single cent more on any other earbuds. A quality over-the-ear set for comfortable home listening, sure, I understand. But for the daily life, these are great.
Oh and they have a lifetime warranty, even if the damage was your fault.

JVC is better.

it has good bass and they feel comfortable in the ear. But JVCs are more clear sound. In other words its like Logitech PC speakers and Bose PC speakers. Try these and JVCs both. If you listen to Heavy Metal kinda music, I think this is good. I listen to Trance and JVC sound better. Good luck!

These phones are fairly durable, so that's why they're a good gift. Overall, they deliver good sound and are fairly comfortable. There are definately better buds, but these are good for what they are. Cool colors, ok price.

I just bought these headphones and already I like them a lot. They're comfortable and have great sound quality. A lot of reviews say there's too much base and not enough high end for rock music, but I listen to a lot of hardcore and metal and think they're perfect.

Next best headphones to Samsung's with my Epic 4G

Using custom sound equalizer on my phone these headphones are louder than the headless ones, as well as every other pair I've used (and that's quite a long list) save for the pair that came with my Epic 4G last year. Unfortunately those broke, as did all the other pairs I've used except the bluetooth ones. Fortunately I had enough sense to return them before anything happened. Anyway, enough rambling, these headphones rock! Thanks Best Buy and thanks Skullcandy!!!

The skullcandy head phones are great they fit snuggly in my ear not too big so it hurts and not so small that they fall out
the sound quality is excellent for the price and size of the head phones

I go through "buds" like crazy. I wanted a step up in quality and sound from the dollar store specials. I didn't want to drop a lot of coin though.
For the money these are holding up well and sound pretty darn good!
Check 'em out!

Great quality sound, comparable durability with more expensive brands, but much cheaper in price. I have tried many different ear buds and these are the best for the money.

Recommended to me by a hipster Best Buy employee who said he likes them. I've got to admit, they sound a lot better than my previous set of Sony earbuds.

For the price ($7.99 on Black Friday) these are a great value. My kids break their headphones frequently, so we bought these for them. So far so good.

I heard about these from some kid I go to university with and at first I was hesitant because they were ear buds. Using them for the first time was a little awkward because I'm not fond of having objects shoved into my ear canals, but I'd have to say once you get used to the feeling, the sound quality really is amazing considering the price and the type of head phone they are. They're rather good at blocking out ambient noises. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind ear buds and wants to be able to listen to music without disrupting others.

I definitely like these headphones -- the value for the price was just fine. I have spent anywhere from $5 - $85 on headphones and these are just as good if not better than any of those.

Skull Candy Does Not Meet Expectations

I purchased these headphones a while back since the standard iPod headphones break easily. I often times worked out at a gym and listened to music with these headphones and every machine/ workout i did they would fall out of my ears. Even a simple walk on the treadmill would make them fall out. And after a month of using the headphones the left earphone blew out and stopped working!
