They do not have a volume control on the cord that is why I didn’t give them 5 stars. I like to control the sound on the cord when I am out walking. Otherwise they work great and the price was right!

1button remote missed the sound-boat

I ordered a, more expensive than I wished to spend on a spare, wired Skullcandy earbud set, will see if they function as described.
