Good sound on a budget

I had these and a pair that were 10 more to choose from. So I chose these, they are terrible, the other ones I had, had a great range on them. I could go out side and they would just start to break up but these if I walk a few feet away from my phone it starts breaking up. I plan on taking these back and getting the other pair to try out.
