On the whole, this is a really nice true wireless headset from Skullcandy. The basics are all there with solid battery life (both in the headset itself and even more in the charging case), great comfort while wearing (the changable "wing" sizes allows for great balance between comfort and a secure fit, and I never felt like they were going to fall out unlike other competitor products that I've tried) and great sound on both the listening and the microphones for picking up speaking. The shape of the headset is a bit more ergonomic than other "pocket" sized headsets I've tried with a small projection where the microphone sits to point it at / get it closer to your mouth for better sound. The headset was easy to get going - it charges fast and the setup / pairing process with my newer iPhone was pretty seamless. You can also install the Skullcandy app for more customization / settings particularly in the soundstage, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to. And the whole thing seems to be pretty well made, like it should be quite durable and last a while in use. So that's all really good, right? And they ARE really good - hence the 5 star review. But I do wish that the case was a bit smaller. At 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" (roughly - the edges are round, etc. - and there's a permanently installed rubber lanyard connector that extends beyond that size), it's pretty big to be truly "pocketable" unlike competitor offerings. That's partially due to the shape of the headset pieces (they're each fairly big themselves) but also due to the design of the case. I do think there's be a way to make a more compact case without giving up headset shape or other functionality. That said, using this headset at home with my computer to attend Zoom calls and listen to music, I don't mind a touch bigger case - and the quality / ease of use and great sound make these an easy recommend and far outweigh how portable the case is. So if you're ok with a slightly bigger case, these are a great headset option from a solid company. Give them a try today!

I saw these headphones at this price point and figured I'd give these a chance. A few of my older sets are wearing out and my higher end ones I don't like to use outdoors doing things . I had good luck with another entry level set from skullcandy,so these with “sound by bose” and so I said yes. I have a soundbar by bose in my bedroom and it's fantastic, and these here are also. Fit, feal and build is excellent. These are rhe most secure earbuds I have short of the ones with over the ear clips. The touch controls are very responsive. There are 3 sets of seals and bud tips to switch around to get a good seal. These have an additional rubber piece to fit into the lobe of the ear, and it helps a ton. The application is top notch. Band customizable equilozer, 3 descent presets, and then the buttons you can set up for 1,2,3 taps and long hold. Then you can set how to tap on or off calls. You can assign a virtual assistant or streaming service also. I don't use either, but it's there. Now the sound on these. Holy cow. I have sets 2 to 4 times the cost of these that these can keep right with. The active noise cancellation is just fantastic. Things are crisp, symmetrical, and can give you a great 3d like sound in your head and shut out the outside world. Punchy bass, and clear upper tones. Skullcandy to me doesn't carry the “premium” label in my mind as does bose, and looking at these, the box is the only thing that lets you know that. I like that because it won't draw attention to people with nepharious purposes, and for kids that are sensitive to brand labels, all you have to do is get them to listen to these, and if they let their brains and logic drive them, there would be no need to spend more for earbuds. I have had these for a week and the battery life is enough to get through a day as much as i use them, and they claim 40 hours with the rapid charge case. These could be the best value last set of earbuds you buy. Comfortable, superb sound and controls. Without hesitation, 5 stars. Just excellent ear buds. These buds are a fantatic value.

First, I want to say that I own a couple other Skullcandy headphones, primarily over the ear non-ANC type and I love them. So, going into this, I was expecting the same sound and results. For me, I got the same Skullcandy sound but I did not get the same results I was looking for. First off, they pair really easy and have a unique charging case, that I really like. They can clip onto your bag with the included metal clip (however, ours broke within the week). For me, they sound excellent, but do not fit my ear very well. This causes the ANC not to work as well as it should. My wife, however, loves them and they have become her go to earbuds. They fit well, don't hurt her ears after longer wearing sessions. Now, we both ran into connection issues that I was unable to rectify on the connecting piece or through the app. I was unable to keep them connected to my laptop for more than a few seconds and my wife was unable to connect at all to her iPad. Both were visible and ready to pair, just would not do it. Overall, if you are going to use these to connect to your phone for the gym, walking, etc., they will do just fine. I would give 4.5 starts since we have connection issues and the metal clip broke in the first week. Not deal breakers because the sound and fit are so good!

Let me start by saying I love these ear buds. Skullcandy working with Bose is a great partnership. The sound is immersive and pitch perfect. The design is outstanding. They are very comfortable in ear. And the charging case, they knocked it out of the park. I love the design of the case. My only drawback, ironically, is the case. I have had these for a few weeks now, and I still struggle getting the buds on the correct side and getting them to connect to charge. It feels like the buds are on the wrong side of the charger. It really is hard to explain, it is just a feel. I thought I would be over it by now. ANC is really well done and easily adjusted in the app. Pass through doesn't give you that weird feeling sound change I have had with other buds. It just reduces the ANC to a level you can hear. Controls are very customizable, you can override any of the tap settings on the buds from the app. But these are the best sounding buds I have had since a pair of Bose I had a few years ago. That case was so small, I ended up losing the buds. This case is much more substantial and the design is just so different it is hard not to notice the case. I am blown away. These are easily my go to buds for anything I am doing.

    Great Option for Active Earbuds

Build: I really like the unique style of the headphone case. It seems big and bulky at first, but when you actually use it, the case feels more correctly described as rugged. The attached clip is great for attaching to your bag or belt buckle and ensures you always have it on hand. Comfort: These are fairly comfortable earbuds and have multiple fit options included in the box. I had no real complaints with extended use sessions. These also stay in place with very little movement while being active. Sound: This is where these become a little of a mixed bag. They have what I would call a 'fun' V-shaped sound. Starting at the bottom, these have a large bass presence. The bass is tight, especially when considering the amount present. The mids and upper mids are definitely scooped out and result in flattened vocals that come off a muffled or chesty. The highs are nothing really to comment on. They are there and don't display any sibilance but do lack some detail. There is a pretty good EQ built into the Skullcandy App and it can bring some of the mids back, but it does very little to recover detail. All in these earbuds are very easy to listen to and unless you are picky about the sound signature you listen to, these will please most people. Features: Being a collaboration with BOSE, I would expect these to have good ANC and I would definitely say they deliver on this front. These did a great job blocking out all the various noise sources in my house to included the kids =). The passthrough leaves a bit to be desired. It will allow you to maintain awareness in your surroundings but having a conversation is almost entirely out of the question. For whatever reason the passthrough seems to have a cut filter in the frequency where most voices reside. Every time I needed to speak with someone I would end up removing one of the earbuds, which luckily pauses the audio when you do so. Cons: I have no idea who at Skullcandy listened to the voice prompts in these earbuds and thought, "oh yeah everyone is gonna love that" First they are too loud which makes them sounds splotchy and flat. Second they sound like they were designed to fit on the memory chip of a talking birthday card from the 90's. I really feel Skullcandy could address this with some higher fidelity voice recordings and fix the volume issue.

I’ll just say up front, the two issues I have with these as the value they are is absolutely incredible so if you are looking for an awesome sounding headset at a reasonable price point and you don’t mind the two issues I have then I couldn’t recommend these enough. The size of the case and the “connected” voice. The case is simply too large for me to carry these daily, I keep them in my work bag and use them at work now because I always have a backpack at work so I have a place to keep them. The case is awesome with the clip but it’s still too big even trying to clip it to a belt loop for me at least. My daily headphones need to be able to fit nicely in my front pocket and I’d rather have to charge the case every night and have it be smaller than last longer and not be comfortable in my pocket. The connected voice is annoyingly loud, this isn’t really a thing that kills this product in my mind, but it’s annoying and I haven’t found a way to change the volume of the voice. It is the same volume no matter the volume that I have set. In a loud environment it’s nice, in a quiet environment it is uncomfortably loud. Because of the size of the case the battery/case goes for quite some time without needing a recharge, so if this is important to you there is an definite advantage for having such a large case. The ear buds are comfortable, these have to be the best fitting buds I have, they stay in my ears no matter what I am doing, I am used to having to push these types of buds in every once in awhile or they will slip out of my ears, doesn’t matter the brand, I haven’t had a pair fit this good in years. The sound is awesome, I love the base, the noise cancellation is excellent as well. The quality for the price is kind of insane compared to other headphones I’ve used. The controls I actually have enabled, most of the time I need to disable them between them being too sensitive and me needing to push the ear buds back in but these I am able to actually have them and use them and appreciate them. Overall, these are just awesome value if you can get over the size of the case or if that that is a benefit to you because of the number of recharges it can do.

A Solid Choice for the Price

The Skullcandy METHOD 360 ANC TRUE WIRELESS earbuds are a solid choice for this price-point. I found that they were ready to pair right away and had no problem connecting them. However, for some reason, my right earbud went off a few times during my first usage, in spite of the fact the voice said it was fully charged. After the first day, though, I did not have that problem again. I found the sound-quality to be solid, but not exceptional. However, the app is very useful and enabled me to find a good balance via the custom EQ feature. The stock music setting lacked enough bass for me, but the ‘bass boost’ was too much, so I was able to set it to my liking. I appreciate being able to customize the choices for the various tap or hold options. As is usual with most wireless earbuds, it took me a little while to adjust to where I need to touch the bud to activate the features. I appreciate the ANC feature (automatic noise cancellation), but the contrast between when it’s on or off is not nearly as noticeable with earbuds as it is with headphones. But that is to be expected. I like the sliding-case design a lot. However, I wish the clip attachment could be removed. I know it’s a Skullcandy thing, but that doesn’t fit my particular use scenario. All-in-all, the Skullcandy METHOD 360 ANC TRUE WIRELESS earbuds are a solid choice for the price.

    Bose licensed knock offs?

These skull candy ANC headphones are similar to other true wireless buds that have a slightly larger presence in the ears which lends itself to longer battery life and larger drivers for deeper bass and clear sounds. The sound by Bose really seems to make a difference with the buds and the performance feels similar to an old pair of Bose sound sports that I loved. The voices and highs are quite clear and clean on all types of music. They are actually a little heavy on low end which is which is shocking for how small they are. I don’t quite know how to define the case / charging device. It’s almost like a slim water bottle and far larger than one would expect for ear buds of this size. The battery life of both the buds and the case is respectable, and the loop on the case makes them easy to attach to a bag or inside a purse to keep them from getting lost. Active noise cancelling is better than it has a right to be at the price point. These are still not a replacement for Bose quiet comfort or apple airpod pros, but they also shed close to $100-$200 from those other headphones. I would recommend these buds as a value proposition for someone seeking active noise cancelling.

The Skull headphones have been a really neat product to try out. It was fairly easy to get them to pair to my phone. I like that there are plenty of different sized plastic pieces to change the size of the ear pieces. this makes the comfort much better. the sound quality is amazing. These block out everything. the noise cancelling is superb! it is super easy to use the controls on the actual earbud. I also really like the clip on the case that you could potentially hang on a bag. now lets talk about the cons. why is the case HUMONGOUS?? you could fit 4 headphones in the length of this thing. it doesn't fit in a purse. it is huge on my bag, it is bulky for NO REASON. at least put a slot for the charging cord? I honestly pick any other earphone case to take with me because I have no where to store the case and its bigger than my purse. Also, I hate that when you are looking at the logo, the Left and Right are on the wrong side. so I have to hold the case, logo out to have the correct left and right?

I needed to replace my guy headphones, and bass is a MUST, and these did not disappoint. As an avid headphone reviewer and basshead, these have plenty of good bass (not as much as the CMF Bud Pro 2) and decent noise cancelling (higher tones still leak through). They stay put in my ears, and the shape of the buds is a replica of the Bose Ultras, so if you don't like that design, don't get these. One issue that SHOULD be easily fixed with a firmware update is the loud voice prompts! It is AWFUL! Please, Skullcandy, lower the volume or give a choice to have prompts!

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC True Wireless earbuds are a nice set of earbuds with great sound. They come well packaged which includes the charging case with earbuds, a charging cable, different sized ear tips, and instruction manuals. The manuals have step by step directions, but the font is somewhat small. It may be OK, for some but it’s a bit small to read for my aging eyes. The earbuds paired easily with my iPhone. There are voice prompts that tell you when it’s connected, along with other features. I found the voice prompts to be too loud and I was not able to find a way to disable them or turn the volume of the voice prompts down. In order to get the best sound and features from the earbuds, you will need to download and install the Skull-IQ app for your mobile device. The app allows you to adjust hearing modes, EQ settings, etc. The sound quality of the earbuds is awesome. I’m able to use the Bass Boot setting or Customized EQ to enable that extra bass, which I like while listening to Hip-Hop and R&B music. The earbuds can be paired with 2 different devices at the same time, allowing you to switch between the two of them quickly. The earbuds can be listened to independently, allowing you to listen to one earbud while charging the other. It has a unique charing case. It’s not the typical clamshell case, but it’s a long case that slides to open and close. My only gripe is the location of the left and right earbud. While facing the case they appear to be on opposite sides of what I’m used to. When facing the case, the left earbud is on the right side, and the right earbud is on the left side. I have to turn the case around and look at it from the ear of the case. The buttons are on the side of each earbud is very easy to press and enable. You can customize the taps for various operations using the Skull-IQ ap. The earbuds come with active noise reduction, which works great. Overall, these are some great earbuds with excellent sound.

The Skullcandy METHOD 360 ANC TRUE WIRELESS earbuds provide great sounding technology. I can hear the collaboration between Skullcandy and Bose to manufacture these powerful stereophonic producing earbuds. The rear of the earbuds have a huge driver system embedded to give the sound of every octave of the music range. Highs and lows sound in perfect pitch and vocals give the impression the vocalist is signing right in my presence. The earbuds required a brief charging before I tried to pair them with my device. Once charged and my Bluetooth was turned on, Method 360 ANC popped up on my screen and once tapped my device connected and the dynamic sound of the Skullcandy METHOD 360 ANC TRUE WIRELESS was most definitely appreciated. I can really have a private party inside my head with the great vibrations of these earbuds. Tapping either bud controls the functionality of the system. The only command that did not work was the track forward command. no matter how many times I doubled tapped the earbuds, the same song would restart, instead of playing the next track. Besides that problem, I could not pick up on any other functional problems with the earbuds. These Skullcandy METHOD 360 ANC TRUE WIRELESS earbuds are now my go to earbuds for daily listening.

CONS: The case is too big and awkward. But most of all, after I updated the earbuds in the app, phone call quality went from great to terrible. I could hear people speaking fine, but they complained that my voice cutout constantly, causing me to keep repeating myself. PROS: The noise cancellation is superb!! They are very comfortable to wear. The sound quality of my music was excellent. Unfortunately, because of the issues with phone call quality, I returned them, as I use my headphones for many calls throughout the day. PLEASE NOTE: I returned my first pair thinking maybe I received a faulty pair. I did not. The same exact thing happened when I exchanged for a new pair.
