I love these open ear buds..I like that they do not go into the ear, but instead are over the ear so you can hear the world around you. I never liked to block out the world when one is walking the dog in a neighborhood without sidewalks, so you walk on the side of the street. I can't imagine not hearing cars coming up on me. These Skullcandy ones are perfect and you can hear everything around you! It took a few seconds to get them in the correct position over my ear, but once you got it, the sound was amazing! Full bodied and rich! I was listening to music and I wanted to get up and dance to it! I was impressed! It was real easy to connect to my phone and I love that you can tap either ear piece and it will follow the commands. You don't have to remember which bud to tap for what.. nice! Throw all the buds that go into your ear out in the trash...they always hurt, you can't hear the world around you, and keep on getting loose like they will fall out...these skull candy ones even got a lanyard for extra safe keeping so you won't lose one... Lots of great features! Highly recommend!

I'm a huge fan of these open ear style headphones and have tried a few over the years. The fit and feel can vary a lot, but i love the ability to hear whats going on without having to take them off. These skullcandy open ears have the best fit I've had for this kind of headphone. They feel light, fit well in my ears and don't block any outside noise. The added magnetic strap is a great addition if one happpens to fall out, though i don't think they will. I'm able to wear them for hours without hurting. Battery life is great as advertised. I can use them all day for moderate listening and put them in the case when not using. I'll get several days use before needing to charge. The sound is pretty good. I would not say its hifi, but it doesn't sound bad at all. Overall these are an excellent afforable option for a good pair of open ear headphones that sound great, have great batterylife and fit will on your ears without blocking out the sound from your surroundings. These are a great option for runners or people doing outdoors activities.

I wanted to love these but they just didn't work for me. Normally I'm a pretty die hard skullcandy fan and I've tried various other open ear style ear buds before. But these are not super comfortable and the sound isn't typical of skullcandy. The fit might be best for people with larger ears as no amount of fidgeting or repositioning made these feel comfortable or secure on my ears. I wanted something for walking outside so I can still be aware of my surroundings but these aren't comfortable enough or secure enough for me to use daily. My skullcandy over ear headphones are a daily favorite and I love the sound they are capable of, that was missing from these earbuds. The sound was tinny and almost crackly at times. I did the super easy setup and updated the firmware right away and it made no difference in the sound even when switching sound profiles. I wouldn't really recommend these based on my experience with them. I will continue to love skullcandy I just may avoid the open ear styles in the future.
