At first, I was disappointed with the sound quality of these headphones. I'd had wired Skullcandy headphones I used for years and really loved the deep bass sound and overall quality. So I had expected that same sound performance with these, but quickly realized they don't seal into your ear so you don't get the solid bass sound with music. Then I thought about how these are designed to be used and how I'll be using them. I listen to more podcasts than music these days. Podcasts sound perfectly fine in these headphones. The fact that they don't seal into your ears is an advantage when you're active outdoors so you can still hear what's going on around you. The bendable wire over the ear makes for a comfortable fit that will keep the headphones in place almost no matter what activity you're doing. With IP67 dust/water resistance rating, these become the nearly perfect headphone for outdoor exercise or work. The charging case (that has a self-contained rechargeable battery) is compact and solid. Unless you have tight pants, it fits easily in a pocket while you're wearing the headphones. The grippy, silicone-like cover does tend to grab and stick any pet hair or lint, but you can easily wipe it off with a damp cloth. I discovered the best use for these headphones sort of by accident. Since the beginning of the pandemic, my wife and I walk 3 to 5 miles every evening. I thought I could use these to listen to podcasts while walking. Then I realized it's even better because both of us can listen to the same podcast by using one of the headphones each. Of course, the volume can't be adjusted separately, but once you agree on a volume level they work perfectly for this. So from now on, I have the left one and she has the right one. This has been great! They're also comfortable in both of our ears for the hour-plus walk. So, depending on how you plan to use these, I think you'll like these headphones. Also, they were super easy to pair up (I didn't even bother installing the Skullcandy app at first) and I like that they automatically turn on and off just by removing and replacing them in the charger.
