Fine, but needs a firmware update

The 4 star reviews are all correct, this product sounds great for a budget pair of headphones, and comes with so much customization through the associated smartphone app, but there is one big but. The app is terrible. The app frequently forgets all of the custom settings, including EQ, button mapping, and ANC/Transparency intensity. I have to open the app and adjust the settings several times a day, because I'll connect my earbuds, and they will sound like trash. I have to open the custom EQ and toggle it off and on until the EQ actually applies. The same issue applies to the button mapping. I liked the button mappings from my old Indy ANC buds, but the Rail ANC forget my mapping once or twice a day. At first I though this issue was something I was doing wrong, but I looked at the reviews of the Skullcandy IQ app in the app store, and it is currently sitting at 1 star. These are good budget earbuds that fit well and sound good (when the EQ setting work) and I am certain they will be good once SkullCandy releases some bug fixes.

    Great earbuds, minor hiccups

Great earbuds, everything works as advertised but there are just a couple issues. The buds don't always disconnect when put back into the case and the Skullcandy app does not seem to support this model. Other than that, great purchase, for a great price. Would recommend.

Let me start by saying that I've had XM4's and beats and i didn't care for beats while they did sound nice tho. XM4's are the best but i also primarily used an original pair of skullcandy dime buds and they got the job done but dude, these earbuds are amazing, the anc in my opinion isn't similar to the ones on XM4's, but they get the job done and you'll be happy with the results. I love them and plan to main them for a good few years just like i did with the dimes

They work great and easy to recharge batts, but I'm still learning how to sync the earbuds to TV each time I use them. I'm sure I'll figure out an easier way sooner or later.

High price doesn’t mean high quality

Hands down the worst set of earbuds I’ve ever bought. Barely over a month and neither side play any sound. Apparently a suction from your ear can mess up the insides and now they’re completely ruined. What a waste of $100.
