|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Easy setup Good fit Better than average sound Cons: Uncomfortable to use control buttons Wonky playback on startup For a bargain pair of true wireless headphones, the Sesh are a solid performer. Open the case, pull them out, select in Bluetooth settings, and you're done with setup. Took about 60 seconds. Easy enough. I popped them in my ears with the mid-sized tips on and the fit was very comfortable. I was immediately impressed with the sound coming out of these little guys. The bass was strong (by in-ear standards) and mid-range and highs were clean and crisp. The first day I wore them for about 2.5 hours and they felt very secure and didn't hurt my ears like some others I have. I have had no connection issues, even when moving a decent distance away from my phone. If that was the end of the story, these would be 5-star quality. Unfortunately, it's not the end. The first issue came during my initial listening session and I've reproduced it several times since then. During the first 15-20 seconds of the first song, something goes wonky. The music speeds up or slows down randomly. It does this regardless of which music service I'm using and none of my other headphones or Bluetooth speakers exhibit this behavior. After a short time, things go to normal and remain that way until the next power off/on cycle. It's not a deal-breaker, just an annoyance. The next issue, and one that bugs me more, is that the control buttons require a substantial touch to engage and can cause discomfort because you literally are pressing the headphone further into your ear canal to get the buttons to react. It became so bothersome, I reverted to using my phone or watch to change tracks, volume, etc. Because of these two issues, I've got to ding these a full star, but mostly because of the controls.
