Compared to other earphones of lower price the soun quality is pretty bad

Nice sound but definitely cannot withstand a 12 yr old's use very long. Not saying these are bad, just not for being thrown in backpacks

We haven't had luck with these lasting long. Not worth it in our book. Not made to last.

So happy I found these to plug into my iPhone. I was getting tired of my pros dying and now I have unlimited music for traveling. Don’t need the separate attachment to connect to iPhone

I read all the raving reviews but if you can't keep the earbuds in your ear, it doesn't matter how good the sound is. I tried all the sizes of the gels, but nothing helped. Then I went to the Skull Candy website and looked these up. Their website says that it comes with optional FitFin gels which would help, if they had been included in the box. They were not.

Got these for my daughter, to use especially on airplane flights.

Average sounds quality compared with Apple earbuds

I purchased 3 of these. Only 1 of them still works less then 20 days. The 2nd pair did not work right out of the box, the 3rd pair, connector that plugs into the phone wasn’t attached. Needless to say I will never buy this brand again.

These earbuds are excellent. For anyone that doesn’t want to deal with the connectivity challenges of Bluetooth encountered from time to time, the limited battery life of some wireless earbuds or earphones, or just wants a decent set of wired earbuds, these are great! They were extremely comfortable in my ears and stayed in securely while just roaming around the house as well as when I went for a walk. The sound is impressive; the tone and bass for this price range is really good. I wish I would have found these when I was looking for wired earbuds a few years ago. I think they equally compare, or in some cases are better, than some of the higher end wired earbuds that I have used for my music and video. My only recommendation would be to include a small container of some sort to store these in. I know that there is tendency for wired buds to become tangled, and ultimately unusable, overtime if not stored or wrapped properly that would help avoid tangling. Yes, if you like wired earbuds and don’t want to spend a ton of money, these are for you!

Although these are corded vs wireless, the sound makes up for it. Rich, deep bass, comfortable ear tips, that really stay in the ears. And since they're corded, you don't have to worry about them falling out and getting lost somewhere (for instance if you're mowing the yard). Skullcandy makes great products and they've done it once again.

They broke at the connection at the phone area. Not worth the hassle

The Skullcandy - Set Lightning - In-Ear - Wired earbuds are a solid choice when looking for good sound, simple features and comfort - and the ability to plug right in to your iPhone. Although it may not be a major factor for many, the fact that it comes with cushions in a variety of sizes is a nice addition. For my wife, it was key. She has trouble getting most earbuds to stay in her ears, and that is frustrating. So, I had her try these - and now they're hers! Here's what she had to say: "It seems earbuds are earbuds EXCEPT these stay in my ears much better than any brand I’ve tried. I guess my ears are shaped weird—whatever— buds pop like corn right out of my ears, except these. They’re comfortable and the sound is clear, and now I can listen uninterrupted. These Skullcandy earbuds connect to your Apple device via a lightening connector, with the usual on/off, volume, multifunction control block of towards the right ear bud. I was actually pretty surprised by the clarity of sound provided by these earbuds, while listening to my goto set of tunes I noticed sounds that I have not heard since I used higher end, closed ear headphones. These are comfortable to wear and since they are wired you don’t have to worry about inconsistency with connections or battery life. Other size replacement buds are provided fir different size ear canals. I am very happy with these earbuds as they sound great and are built with a high level of quality. Pros: - awesome sound - wired connection - no batteries to charge - supplied alternative fitting earbuds Cons: - none at this time

I got the skullcandy wired lighting(iphone) earbuds to see if it would fit/stay in place better while using my motorcycle helmet. The included iphone earbuds just do not stay in, and eventually slide out of my ear after a certain amount of times of looking left or right, which is extremely frustrating. Never mind trying AirPods. The skullcandy fits very well and doesn’t slide when putting on the helmet, and it stays even after looking left/right many many times. It comes with 2 other replacement sizes but the one already attached fit my ears well. Another bonus is that the buttons stick out for the volume and pause/action buttons. On the Apple earbuds, they are printed on so there have been plenty of times I’ve pressed either volume up/down when trying to pause/rewind, or pressed pause when trying to raise/lower the volume - which is extremely frustrating since I cannot look down at the cable, it is important to know which button you are pressing without having to pull over. You can feel the 3 buttons and even though the volume up/down are similar, the pause/action button feels very different, which means i can quickly pause/rewind/forward easily without accidentally pressing the volume buttons, and vice versa. As far as actually using it and how it sounds - it’s pretty good. Because the tips fit so well, it essentially creates a nice block of outside sounds. This is great when it comes to listening to music - however - it also means that if you’re having a voice call, your voice sounds a little weird. This doesn’t mean the actual device sounds weird, no - that is not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is that your own ears hears your own voice oddly, because the earbuds fit so well. You do not get this on the Apple AirPods/earbuds, but then again, i can’t get those to stay on. So it is a bit of a trade off. With that said, I’m exclusively using these earbuds just for riding to listen to music (obviously I don’t make calls during this) and use different headsets for phone calls to avoid hearing myself in an awkward way. The other con is i cannot just pull off my helmet with them in, as it will tug a little on them and the replaceable ear pieces can pop off. However, easily fixed by simply taking them off before removing the helmet - which is just something i have to get used to. Overall, one of the better wired headsets to use for music/gps when riding w/a helmet!
